Yes, Five Stars from us both! Why is it that you can live in a place for so long and have no reason to go over to a certain strip mall again, because there's nothing of interest to you there... But then you talk to someone and they tell you about this incredible great place to eat and you're like, Where? Seriously, there is a great place to eat over there? Wow! How did I miss that?? So, today (Sunday) my husband & I went over to the Twisted Biscuit for lunch... It gets busy, but we got a great table. If you haven't been to the Twisted Biscuit yet, What are you waiting for?? Yes, there are other diners in the area and they have a few yummy things & are friendly too, but This place - - - Woo-Hoo! Their Patty Melt sandwich & their Rueben are both Awesome! Perfectly prepared, plated, & presented... Both Tasted Incredible! My husband also LOVED their coleslaw, I personally like it cut-up smaller, but the sauce is right on point! He had Hot Coffee & I got an Unsweet Cold Tea - Both were great! But the ENTIRE Combination of our Overall Experience was Awesome! Thank you to the Entire Staff... Oh, & Yes, before leaving, we also purchased a 6-pack of biscuits to take home... Our waitress even brought a cup so I could take my tea with me! So, Before typing this review up, I NEEDED to taste each of those biscuits! Biscuits Tasted & Enjoyed... Jalapeno & Cheddar: Yummy! (We requested 2) Peaches & Cream: Yummy! Cinnamon Sugar: Yummy! Buttermilk: Yummy! & my Favorite: Blueberry: Yummy! Yummy! Amazing, Delicious, Fresh, Flavorful, & Well-Prepared Food (you can tell the chefs care about what they are making!) Perfectly Sized Portions (Of course, if you can't eat it all, just ask for a take out box!) Attentive, Friendly, & Welcoming Service (Have you ever seen a "Well-Oiled Machine"? - This is it!) (They work well together - even the Hostess!) Welcoming, Comfortable, & Relaxing Atmosphere (There was a Positive & Energetic Feeling in the air!) Yummy & Available Choices (Seriously, Check out the Superb Menu! Maybe the Stuffed French Toast?) Reasonably Priced (It's not a high-end restaurant, it's a Great Diner, that we'll be going to Again & Again & Again!) Kid Meal Choices (They're sure to love it!) Indoor & Outdoor Seating - Wow! (This is a little place that gets Super Busy at times, you might have to wait a few minutes, but we didn't have to wait!) 2 Clean Single Bathrooms (Gender Neutral - Kept clean) Large Parking area (It's a strip mall, but they are the Most Popular place there!) Why go anywhere else? They are opened Daily 6:30 AM - 1:30 PM What are you waiting for, get there & tell me I'm right about this place! -- You'll be glad you did! It's a place you MUST visit! read more

Twisted Biscuit Cafe is located on the Southwest corner of the Chili's shopping center on the corner of Palm Bay Road and Babcock street. It is a minimalist cafe with humble simple decor. I love places like this because they keep it clean and simple. Service was above and beyond. They have a team approach. At first I was trying the chorizo hash brown casserole but it's a lot and I am not a huge breakfast eater. I should have read between the lines from the waitress. The jalepeno biscuit was amazing with jalepenos and he gave me some gravy on the side to try it. I was so full from the biscuit I could barely touch the breakfast. Anyway they happily offered to replace my meal and did so with corned beef home fries and eggs. Everything was great! My coffee cup never got to empty they were on it. The manager came over to make sure I liked the new meal better and everything. I highly recommend! I will be back. :) read more

Sweet place. Friendly people. Great prices!! Slogans are over the wall. Not a fan of that, but then to each his own. Good solid food and healthy choices also. We loved it. read more

We've been wanting to try Twisted Biscuit for over a year since it's consistently rated as one of the top breakfast spots in the area. We finally made it in around 9 AM on Mother's Day, and to our surprise, we were seated immediately--definitely a pleasant start! The restaurant is located in an older strip mall, which actually works in its favor--there's plenty of parking, thanks to a few vacant storefronts. Inside, the space is clean and welcoming, with a minimalist decor that feels fresh and intentional. Unlike cluttered diners where cleaning every nook seems impossible (looking at you, Cracker Barrel), Twisted Biscuit keeps things simple and warm with green-toned walls that give the place a cozy, clean vibe. We ordered the kid's egg, sausage, and toast, the eggs Benedict, and the steak and eggs. Everything arrived as ordered, and while I was a bit surprised the server didn't ask about toast with the Benedict (as it's listed on the menu), it wasn't a deal-breaker. A small detail, but worth noting. They offer two types of home fries--regular and "American," with the latter being deep-fried. Nice touch to have options. The eggs Benedict were cooked just right, and while the steak initially didn't look promising, it turned out to be both flavorful and tender--definitely exceeded expectations. One thing we appreciated: they serve fountain drinks instead of canned sodas, which makes the bottomless refills actually feel worth it. Price-wise, it's on the higher end compared to some Melbourne spots we've tried, but the convenience of the location and overall experience make it worth a return trip--especially for breakfast. They also offer lunch, though we didn't try anything off that menu this time. Overall, Twisted Biscuit is a solid breakfast spot with friendly service, clean surroundings, and good food. We'll definitely be back when we're in the mood for a hearty, well-done breakfast, or maybe even lunch after a long morning at the recently opened kids play place in the same plaza. read more

**INITIAL REVIEW** To this day, my favorite kind of restaurant is breakfast/brunch. As a matter of fact, most of my five-star reviews in proportion to all my reviews, are breakfast/brunch restaurants. Ergo, I have hit up many of them in my locality of my home town. So when my friend Chris, who is also a professional chef and culinary professor, told me he ate at a new breakfast/brunch place called Twisted Biscuit, I had to check it out. Initially, I went to Twisted Biscuit with my family, and have been back two more times. Since then, I can say I have enough of an experience to give a fair review that can go beyond my norm analytics of a typical initial review. In fact, I can go as far as given a final and overall review. Ergo, it is with deep regret I have to say that Twisted Biscuit does not live up to even good-on-average standarts. After my third and final visit, it was clear to me Twisted Biscuit had flaws, flaws that the restaraunt don't seem to want to fix. Twisted Biscuit is located on the southern end of Sabal Palm Squares, a strip mall on the southwest quadrant of the Palm Bay Rd./Babcock St. intersection. If it helps any further, it is right next to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and a new kava tea bar I do not remember the name to. The restaurant is minimalized in decor and maximized in utilization. What that means is the dining floor has been used to the max to seat as many people as possible without breaking any occupancy laws. There is decor, but nothing that stands out as unique to the restaurant. There is an outdoor seating area, too. However, this is Florida and depending on the season, it is either unbearable to eat outside or perfect. Outdoor seating would probably be more of an option during the late Autumn and Winter months here in Florida. I will be honest and admit the food is delicious. But to also be honest, a lot of their food doesn't stand out from other breakfast/brunch places in the area, either. I mean, it is good, but it is mostly breakfast and brunch food which shouldn't be too hard to make. There are some standout items they make though, some only available as a special such as the shrimp and grits. The Twisted Biscuit Bowl is also very good. With Twisted Biscuit's food being quite on-average good, it is sadly shadowed by the flaws Twisted Biscuit has: the wait and cooking time, the customer service, and the overall experience within the restaurant. As many others who reviewed Twisted Biscuit have stated, the wait times are atrocious. With the exception of the times I was there solo because I am loud and noticeable, my family, friends, and I as groups have waited a decent minute or two for service. After giving orders, there is a decent amount of time from that to getting our food with little to no interaction from the waitstaff taking care of us. After we do get the food, the waitstaff kinda "disappears" as they take care of other people. I would get such if the staff were stretched thin, but observing about, I could tell they had enough waitstaff to not ignore anyone for far too long. We also need to add in the fact that Twisted Biscuit utilizing the space to fit max occupancy suddenly becomes a hindrance to patrons. The air conditioning and circulation is not very good and the air can become quite warm. Add in the fact the kitchen is open to the public, it is a recipe for disaster. The bathrooms were clean at least, but that is just one positive amongst a number of negatives that surpass other positives, too. Ultimately, I am going to have to give Twisted Biscuit Cafe two out of five stars as an average across three or more visitis to this restarant. It is not bad to the point where I would walk out, but I will definitely take consideration eating elsewhere for breakfast or brunch if the time were to come. read more

This past Sunday we decided to give this place a try for our weekend breakfast outing. We usually go to a place a bit closer to us but we heard about this place from some people we know. It wasn't my favorite but it wasn't terrible either. It was just right in the middle for me. The atmosphere is what you expect for a small local place. It was a bit too close quarters and noisy for me. I don't like being super close to the next table. Just a sensory thing for me. The service was nice and everyone was very attentive. It felt like they all helped to take care of the customers needs. That's what I would expect to happen. Now to the food, in terms of my omelet it was really well made and better than the other place we normally go. I ended up taking some to go because I can't eat a huge omelet all by myself. My husband wasn't as impressed with his steak and eggs. He said the steak was a bit small compared to what he's used to getting at other places. It's not necessarily a place that we'd frequent again right away but maybe down the road we will give it another try. read more

Another great breakfast spot in the Bay! My boyfriend and I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything on the menu looked great but we both ended up ordering the Mexican omelette special. I got hash browns, he chose home fries, and we both upgraded to biscuits since it's their namesake. We were not disappointed! We were served large, fluffy omelettes loaded with cheese, onions & peppers (cooked al dente which is just the way I like them - I hate when the veggies in omelettes are soggy) and topped with homemade chili which was hearty and not greasy. Our server brought us ample sides of sour cream, salsa, and our choices of hot sauce. My hash browns were delicious; they had the taste and texture of freshly-grated potatoes, not frozen shreds from a bag. The homemade biscuits were warm and flaky. I slathered mine with orange marmalade and that took it over the top. They have great coffee and pulpy OJ which is also my preference. The service was outstanding; all of the staff checks on all the tables and everyone was joking and laughing with each other. You get discounted menu items if you pay cash which is pretty cool. They also brought bowls of water to multiple customers on the patio with dogs which I thought was very sweet. This will definitely be on our rotation! Next time I'm trying lunch :) read more

The food is awesome. The service in unmatched. In a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I had the biscuits and gravy, and let me tell you--it was some of the best I've had outside of my own kitchen. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can taste the quality in every bite. The vibe at Twisted Biscuit Cafe is warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A few things to note: The food is a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality. Bring cash--they charge a 4% service fee on card transactions, so save a few bucks and pay the old-fashioned way. This place is definitely a new favorite, and I'll be back for more! read more

Fantastic breakfast with great customer service. I've heard nothing but great things about this place and finally gave it a try. Seating was quick and the ambience gave your classic hometown cafe with lite rock & 80s tunes playing from the kitchen area. They have daily specials with seasonal offerings and of course their standard menu. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I opted for their Twisted Biscuit Bowl with pumpkin spice biscuit. This was hearty and packed with ingredients! The biscuit was fluffy & toasted and paired with a pumpkin spice spread. Overall, this is a solid cafe for breakfast and lunch! read more

We've been a few times but the last time we were there will literally be the last time. We asked to send our eggs back because they came with very wet whites though we ordered over medium and specify whites done. The owner came out and proceeded to yell at me in front of all the other diners. He was so very unprofessional. I only wanted our meals as ordered as they want the money for that said meal. And we did pay full price and didn't expect not to. Our server was great, but we left there with a very bad taste and will not go back and will tell our group of friends that we can all go back to meeting at the restaurants that don't belittle their customers. read more

Highly don't recommend, we came to Florida from Texas, my sister has been here for years. We called ahead to make sure they can accommodate our party of 10, the woman who "greeted" us was very rude and unwelcoming. As we were trying to figure out seating she was standing there staring at us rudely and twirling her hair with attitude huffing and puffing because we needed another seat. We decided to leave- if that was any indication of how the rest of the meal was going to go, we wanted no part in it. Not sure her name or anything, we didn't even get to that part before the rudeness came. But regardless, I would like to others to beware- this place is NOT the friendly welcoming place they put out to be. Loss is on them, they missed out on serving a great family with wonderful tipping habits. And I'm sure will continue to miss out with that rude woman there. Who continued to dismiss us as I placed a review on FB. I understand the customer isn't always right, but your service should still reflect kindness and understanding especially when your guests are trying to meet you with that same kindness and understanding. read more

Amazing food at affordable prices with great service. I came on a Sunday morning and luckily they had a seat open. They're fairly busy so be open to wait if you're coming at peak weekend rush. I was promptly seated and given water and a menu. I decided to get Toast, Ham, Hash-browns, eggs, and toast (can't remember the platter name) and it was very reasonable in price. My girlfriend got the pancake, eggs, and bacon platter which was just as affordable. The food was cooked to order and came out hot. Absolutely no complaints about the food. Standard diner fare and was cooked well, nothing to note. I believe the total was in the mid-high 20's before tip, so definitely affordable for the amount of food you get. Definitely worth trying out! read more

My only complaint would be it tends to be hot in there. Otherwise it's spot on!! The foods delicious and always comes out hot and fresh off the grill! Service is great and everyone checks on you, which is so rare especially in a place as busy as they are. The prices are great, and they have Gator hot sauce! Twisted Biscuit Cafe - Review - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Palm Bay, Florida

Breakfast was so good & reasonably priced on our first day of vacation we went back for a second time in 1 week on our last day of vacation. It was October so we sat outside on the sidewalk in the shade. Service was great and very personable. Will definitely go again if we get back to Palm Bay. Pancake specials sounded incredible but we opted for standard fair of eggs, bacon, hash browns, & toast. Coffee was good too. read more

Twisted Biscuit Cafe - It's a good thing it's only a few. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Palm Bay, Florida

We thought this was initially a great find but a few negatives must be pointed out. It's HOT and cramped. The servers also yell across the restaurant and I find that guests should be let in on information which happens behind the curtain, if you will. They will also ignore you if the kitchen is overwhelmed and I only know this because they shouted "don't take any orders" and our table was by the kitchen. Our server walked passed us many times, not even looking at us and we were only going to ask for creamer for the coffee. Food was good, but unfortunately we all felt a sick the day after. Don't know if I would return. read more

The food wasn't bad. The reason for two stars is for whom I assume is the owner. A lady patron kindly questioned the 3.5% charge for using Credit Cards, and instead of politely responding "yes, I'm sorry about that, but we do", her reaction was to loudly ring out and point to the location everywhere that the charge was posted, "it's on the menu, it's on the door, it's on the wall, everyone does it" So everyone could hear, and I was on the polar opposite side of the small restaurant. She entised, and welcomed, one other customer to join in with the chorus of patronization. I actually felt embarrassed for her and I don't embarrasse easily. After the woman departed, it continued as a topic of conversation between her and the other patron through my breakfast and departure (a few minutes). I understand both sides, and it may very well be posted, but I didn't see it either! However, I also didn't see the word Gravy on my menu item, for which I hate, but there it was, smothered in it. Did I complain? No. Good thing, I may have been attacked! I recently retired and have lived just down the road for 20 years and wanted to start supporting a local breakfast joint close to home; get to know kind people because I traveled 50 weeks a year, but this is my first and last visit. It was so obnoxious. Customer Service Skills is certainly not her strong suit. read more

I was visiting my Aunt from out of town and we wanted to go to breakfast. She named off a few places,Twisted Biscuit being one. When she said a young couple owned it, I chose it immediately. i like mom and pop places. It was a medium size place and we sat right down. Ordered fairly quickly. 2 build your own omelets. Food was a perfect portion size for the coat. It was loud. Nobody was yelling. The decor was fine. Cute signs everyone. Owners were hands on and service was great! We ate and left because a wait was building and that was the courteous thing to do. But we never felt rushed out. Hope to be back again and wish them much success. read more

This is the worst place on the planet to order anything to eat. The Servers were great friendly, and courteous. I ordered a Ruben Sandwich with the dressing on the side, The service was fast and friendly. I attempted to eat my Ruben Sandwich, but it was served with no sauerkraut. Who does that? I sent it back of course. Then I was charged over $11 for the non-Ruben Sandwich. Of course, I tipped the waitress, it wasn't her fault. The restaurant was packed so I paid my check because I didn't wish to cause a scene. The more I thought about it on the way back to my office. I called the restaurant to ask them to remove the charge for the non-Ruben sandwich. The manager was rude, and not a very nice person. I will never set foot in this place again and will encourage every person I come in contact with to do the same. read more

This was such a great experience. The servers were so happy to be there and better yet, were happy WE were there! My husband and I have been looking for a great breakfast place, which is sadly difficult to find these days, and stopped here for lack of options. We were so glad! First of all, they have scrapple as a regular side, so I was almost sold. It was cooked perfectly, SOLD. My husband had biscuits and gravy and said it was better than any of our other "regular" places, and that everything was cooked perfectly. They were very busy, people waiting outside for tables, and the staff was so professional. They all helped each other and made sure each table was getting what they needed. The decor was pretty cute. It was a comfortable atmosphere, and tables were far enough apart to still feel private, but close enough to feel like a family diner. We can't wait for next weekend to return! Thank you so much for the "new breakfast joint" for us to visit! read more
