Nancy and our Western omelet and a side of grits.

Recommended by our niece as their favorite breakfast place so we gave it a try. Greeted pleasantly by both waitresses as we entered. We decided to eat outside as it was so nice. Nicely decorated and clean. Our waitress visited soon after we picked our table for our drink order. Perused the menu and decided upon a Western omelette with home fries, wheat toast and a side of grits. Before we knew it out came our breakfast. We split our meals and had told the waitress that. To our surprise they had split the order into two plates for us. That rarely happens and we appreciated that. The omelette was stuffed full, the home fries had a nice crisp to them. I asked for brown sugar for my grits but was told they didn't have any. But they were able to provide honey for me to satisfy my sweet tooth. Very good and if you haven't been there yet just go! Try it you'll like it!

Awesome little breakfast spot in Indian Harbour. Friendly staff, clean tables, and fast food. The eggs, meat, and fruit are all fresh and yummy. Add on a side of biscuits and gravy

Scrambled Egg Cafe 727 Pinetree Dr. Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 5 Stars Scrambled Egg Cafe is a newer addition to the area's eating establishments, having opened a mere 15 years ago. However, as it is run so well, it has become somewhat of a local icon, and it seems like it's always been around. This is evidenced by the number of locals crowding the place from open to close. This place is ALWAYS busy. Debbie is the owner, and our waitstaff here today. She is a genius who empowers her employees. If every self-proclaimed Christian were as friendly, warm, giving and supportive of their fellow human as Debbie is, many people would see religion differently than they do. I know this affirmed Agnostic would. Kudos, Debbie! I ordered one Greek Omelet with extra Feta, one Egg Salad, and one Grilled Cheese and Ham sandwich. Debbie soon returned with our order, snapping the requisite pictures, I eagerly got to stuffing my pi...I mean, I eagerly got to work. First up on the Big Boy's punctilious palate was the Greek Omelet with extra Feta. Just do me a favor here and LOOK AT THE PICTURE! LOOK AT IT! Not only is it picture perfect of how an omelet should look, but it was stuffed with tons of yummy Greek stuff, and that hash brown is almost too perfectly formed not to have come from the freezer (it didn't). Taste-wise, how can you go wrong with fresh hand-cut tomatoes, fresh spinach, and tons of crumbled Feta? You can't. OPA! In fear of regaining the embonpoint I've recently lost, I forced myself only to try what was needed for the review and moved on to the Egg Salad Sandwich. This was so spectacularly delicious I know without asking that it was made fresh that morning in the back (I actually do ask what is and what isn't made on site in the beginning of my service). The sandwich was packed solid with the stuff and it was all I could do to move on to the Grilled Cheese and Ham, but I was here to work, not eat (so to speak). I love me a good Grilled Cheese. I mean, who doesn't? Talk about nostalgic comfort food; this has the 70s and Mom written all over it. Nestled between two perfectly grilled pieces of white bread and piled high with ham, this epitomized a Grilled Cheese and Ham. The accompanying potato chips were fresh and crisp. The Big Boy says, "You can't go wrong any time of day with any menu item. They are all served with care and made with love."

Super cute breakfast/lunch spot with great service! Both inside and outside seating we opted for inside and Kelly Ann took great care of us. Mexican Omelette and Blueberry pancakes came out quickly (I was famished) and I love they did not skimp on butter for my pancakes and I had plenty of syrup!

From what I remember the food was good- but how could one mess up breakfast. Yummy the kids usually get chicken and waffles or French toast.

This means nothing fancy. Good people, good food, good prices. I think I can safely say this is literally the best corned beef hash ever. So over the top good with homemade corned beef. I wanted more. My wife had one of their Bennies. She loved it too. Next time we are in the area, we will try them for lunch.

Banana River Cafe is proof that the smell of bacon can make you forgive almost anything…read more First, a fun fact: they're operated by a CIA graduate. No, not that CIA. The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. After looking over the menu, there were only two main options labeled vegan with a protein source. So ordered the Breakfast Club that was indicated could be served veganized. The server was a bit confused and said "so with the veggie bacon" which o agreed and then prompted that most places then sub tofu for egg. But when the sandwich came it was sooo plain. They did not have a vegan cheese or sauce option so it was left dry and plain... I made it edible with putting the pickles that were in the side inside the sandwich with ketchup. After seeing other people's reviews it looks as if you could ask for tofu scramble in lieu of scrambled eggs on be of the plate but that wasn't a menu option. Wish that option was more spelled out becuase that would have made it a more satisfying meal.
