You're kidding me right? I walked inside, I waited for 10 minutes nobody still recognizes me.So I sat myself. The waitress was very dry and saying hello, and everything else the food was good.The restaurant was kept clean along with the bathrooms.The service was just bad. Went several times and they were closed on day that they had posted they were open. I finally went on a day they were open. It's a small family owned business. They had their children in the restaurant . I ordered the club sandwich, with fries. Unfortunately the turkey was very salty and add the salty bacon and it was just too much salt. The restaurant is a little worn . Table could have been cleaned a little better. A family just trying to make it in a hard business environment. I will try them again and hopefully find them open and find a better experience. Server a little preoccupied with family issues. read more

Sunday morning after grocery shopping and felt the need to eat before heading home to put the groceries. I knew everywhere would be packed, so now it's about where haven't i been in a while...Rockledge Diner. Got there around 945am and only 2 other families were dinning. Took a seat, table had just been cleaned, and Cara(sp?) was my server. I love breakfast and it dont take me long to choose. I saw the chorizo bowl and it sounded really good. Ordered a side of grits and Cara suggested cheese(cheese makes everything good) her words not mine lol, and toast. Food came out quick and hot. Fresh salsa was topped on the bowl and i could tell it was fresh by the cilantro! Chef kiss. Grits nice and cheesy. Stopped by for a quick breakfast on a Saturday morning after running an errand. They really know how to cook breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly for both of us, which is unusual. My grits were hot and just the right consistency, nice and creamy. Hash browns for my husband were nice and crispy. Priced well. It's not fancy but it's a great place for a good, hot breakfast. This is probably my new breakfast spot. This place is a hole in the wall diner. I came to order some to go breakfast, and i'm sure glad i did. Placed an order for a ham n cheese omelet with home fries (diced sauteed potatoes), and whole grain toast. The one thing that stood out to me the most about this meal is that the ham that was used, was not the pre-diced ham that come in the package at the grocery store. This ham came right off the ham hock that has the bone. I can just tell by the taste and texture. It surely made the different and caused this omelet to stand out above and beyond omelets i've had at other places. The omelet may not have been the best presentation, but it sure exceeded my expectations as far as taste. The potatoes were great as well. I prefer this over the shredded hash browns, because i do not like my hash browns fried hard. I cant wait to go back. I'm getting hungry just writing my review about them. read more

My son and I met up in Rockledge and wanted to have lunch. Yelp directed us to the Rockledge Diner. We were greeted as we entered and told to sit wherever we liked. Our server quickly brought us menus and took our drink order. My son ordered the Chicken Tender Platter while I asked for Steve's Hamburger with fries. Our order arrived quickly. My son's chicken tender platter had the largest chicken tenders I'd ever seen. He ate every bit of his lunch! My burger (minus the bun) was nicely seasoned and hot. Our crinkle cut fries were crisp and tasty. We dawdled after we ate not realizing that the restaurant closed at 1:30. When we asked (at 1:40) what time they closed, the waitress said they were already closed but we were welcome sit for a while as they were cleaning up. I felt bad for staying so late so we left very fast after that! Thank you to our server who was so gracious to us. Next time I'm in the area, I'd like to visit this little hometown diner again. read more

Lucked into finding this delightful no frills "old school" diner not too far from our office. Have tried the Florida breakfast, Hashbrown Sammy, Breakfast burritos and Breakfast sandwiches. Never been close to disappointed. Highly recommend if you are ever in the Rockledge area! read more

Great little diner! This is a diner that is busy, has good food, super nice staff and all around a 5 star diner! And they support LEO! Hubs saw a write up in the paper and here we are for breakfast. Got a table right away but a busy and friendly buzz the whole time. He got eggs & corn beef hash with grits- comes with 3 eggs. He says it's very good. I liked it, too, but I'm ranking it against fancy hash I had in New Orleans so that isn't fair. It's the best I've had locally. I got the pancake breakfast and it was a great big one- 2 eggs, bacon, a great biscuit, big bowl of grits and 2 large pancakes. Coffee was hot and refilled often! I enjoyed it very much. I visited for breakfast and it was fantastic. The dining room was crowded and I was amazed how well everything was being managed by the husband and wife team. She would take the orders, get everyone set up with their drinks, and the husband would also come out and assist with getting things organized in the dining room. I thought that with just the two of them. that the service would be very slow, but it was completely to the contrary. I ordered eggs over medium, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, and pancakes. When they brought the food out, everything was hot and fresh. The pancakes were very fluffy, flavorful and big. The eggs were cooked perfectly as was the sausage and hashbrowns. I can't say enough about how good this breakfast was. It is amazing that the husband and wife are able to run this very efficient business on their own and offer quality food and service. Other than the occasional wait time, this a great little hometown eatery. The staff is friendly. The food great and the prices are not ridiculous. I had the open faced hollandaise corned beef sandwich with hashbrowns. My husband had the country fried steak with biscuit and home fries. Both breakfasts were extremely tasty and left us satisfied and very full. The sweetness of the Hawaiian Bread came as a pleasant surprise. The hollandaise was on point and flavorful, hashbrowns cooked perfectly (which isn't easy to do). So stop looking for a place to have breakfast, you found it. My friend and I went here the other day for the first time. We were so pleasantly surprised because this diner is a little hidden in a quiet plaza. We walked in and the diner smelled good and looked clean, they have historic pictures of Rockledge hanging on the walls. For the most part, the food was decently priced and good, but I was really put off by how the place looks plain and depressing, they could use some serious decorations. It's awkwardly quiet in there also (no music playing). They do have tvs on the walls, but sound is turned all the way down. Service is a bit slow. The owner appears to hold down many positions there. She's not only the only hostess/waitress they have , but often helping out the one and only cook in the kitchen. She could seriously hire a few more people. We noticed the signs as we drove by Deceided this was the morning to try it out. Only a few tables were available and the rest quickly filled up. Service was. Little slow at first until they got into their groove and like I said they were slammed at once. Food was amazing. Just liked mamaw made.
