Such a cute spot with plenty of seating! I ordered a wrap with potatoes, beans, cheese, and shredded beef. It came with chips and salsa. It was delicious and came out piping. hot so you know it was made fresh to order. The staff were quick and attentive while dining in. I found this place searching for a vegan spot to meet a friend for lunch and it did not disappoint.The menu is small however the food packs lots of healthy flavor. The staff is great! There was a steady crowd and great local feel for the vibe. I would return for the food for sure. There is no outdoor seating and the restaurant stands alone with ample parking! Peace in the Garden Cafe, 397 Barton Blvd. Rockledge, FL 32955 4- Stars The distribution of restaurants in this county is uneven. It's almost as if some cosmic restaurant emunctory spreading whale passed overhead. North County has comfort food, i.e., Southern food and donuts. South County has fine dining and charred cows. What does that leave for the good folk residing in the Central portion of our county? After my second excursion to Peace in the Garden Cafe, they have two great vegan/health food restaurants within one mile of each other. When I previously dined at Peace in the Garden Cafe, it garnered a 3-star review. This time, I found the food much improved; however, Adriana, our service member, was not good. By not good, I mean she moved at a snail's pace and seemed relatively uninterested in us, her job, the whole ordeal. In a slop house where I am one of two customers, it should take less than eight minutes for first contact (yes, I do time this). The plus side is that while awaiting first contact, I noticed an elderly gentleman well above 80 wearing a brown pompadour rug and driving a black Pontiac Firebird with a license plate that read, "Bandit." I kid you not. Ah, what's not to love about Florida? I kept a look-out for his proverbial "arm candy," but alas, I saw no such animal. I managed to finagle an order for the Tofu Ruben Wrap and a Tuna Salad Sandwich. At least the person in the kitchen was moving at the proper speed, as my food was ready in no time. If you peek at the accompanying pictures, you see everything looks fresh. In this case, looks were not deceiving. I found the Tofu Ruben Wrap to be delightful. The tofu was firm and the combined flavors, whatever they were composed of, hinted at a good deli Ruben. The blue tortilla chips on the side were fresh, warmed and crunchy, with just a hint of sea salt. Moving on to the Tuna Salad Sandwich. I would like to draw your attention to the pictures once again. Just look at how fresh that tuna appears to be. The size of the chunks is impressive and the sliced pickle was huge, fresh and crispy. This sandwich was indeed a pleasure on the palate. Great healthy choice! While traveling... stopped here after returning from a cruise. The food on the ship wasn't the best so I was really craving something healthy... yelp search lead me to this place. Love love LOVED IT! Cute atmosphere... simple. The staff were very friendly. I have driven by this place a few times and finally decided to give it a try after seeing some positive reviews, and I am so happy that I did! It's been hard to find a good restaurant that understands the power of a dang vegetable. I got the Southwest wrap and it came with chips and salsa, and not just any salsa! This has to be homemade. I walked in on a whim and ordered to-go, it was ready very quickly, and in the time I was sitting there many others came to pick up orders as well. I didn't look at the breakfast menu, but an absolute must for lunch. 5 stars because the food, the price, and the service all align perfectly. First timer I had the lunch special which has several choices of half sandwiches and wraps, a cup of soup, drink and chips and salsa. I had the half shredded beef wrap, split pea soup and green tea. I have been here twice now. It seems like the ingredients they use in their food is a notch above the rest. The dishes lean on the healthy and lighter side, but the quantity of food is perfect. Both times I was there the soup was excellent and had to be made from scratch. I recommend the lunch special 1/2 wrap/sandwich and a cup of soup. It is a good deal. Hidden Gem It's easy to drive by this place and not look twice, but you'd really be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't stop for a bite to eat. I order takeout from here for lunch on a regular basis. I've only had their wraps and they're very good, big portions and filled to the brim. My go to is the hummus avocado, and their salsa verde is delicious. Sometimes the chips are a little on the salty side. I don't know if I would dine inside, the interior is a little dated but if you're looking for a yummy lunch spot it's worth a visit! read more

Stopped in for lunch yesterday after finding them on here. I opted for the Imposter salad with the raspberry vinaigrette. The salad was large in size but overall I can't say that I was impressed. I just felt that the salad was missing something. I also did not like that the chicken was served warm, so much so that it melted the goat cheese. Also the flavor of the chicken was not my favorite. The salad included, walnuts, cucumbers, tomatoes, but again needed another component. Maybe cranberries, or another element My coworker had the split pea soup and chicken salad wrap and enjoyed her meal. We also had the chips and hummus...meh, just ok. Nothing special. Overall, I'll give them another try as I would like to try a sandwich/wrap. Fyi-the sodas are served in a can not fountain drinks. read more

Very Limited menu - which is fine. Ordered: 1- Breakfast Burrito (forgot the price. Small for price.) Tasted Good. 1 - French toast (2 pieces of bread, came with nothing but syrup. What a breakfast burrito! Perfectly made and the perfect size. They have a regular breakfast burrito with turkey, and a veggie option. The regular comes in a tomato basil wrap and the veggie comes in a spinach wrap. Both are delicious and healthy. The homemade salsa here is THE BEST SALSA IVE EVER HAD. I ordered a side of pan seared breakfast potatoes as a side. They came out perfectly crispy and salted. Absolute 10/10 experience overall. read more

First time here. The veggies burger on rye bread was amazing loved how they cut the cucumbers which my pup . The male cashier was disrespectful, does not know how to package to go orders. My soup spilled because it was no packaged correctly. In addition he told everyone who was entering after 200pm they had closed early and would not be able to serve them, which was not really true. In addition his focus was more on him eating his own lunch than helping the customers. Just total disrespect to both the customers & the people he works for. read more

If I lived in the area, this place would be a regular stop for me. I went with one other person, and we had the same thing, half a southwest wrap and cup of soup of the day, which was white bean and vegetable. The soup was amazing. If I'd known how good it was, I would had just a big bowl of that only. The wrap was good too. It was actually too much for me to eat. The salsa was excellent, and I put that on the wrap. Everything was fresh, and considering the quality and portion size, $8.50 was a good price. read more

They had recently moved to there new location near Schlenkers Auto in the past few weeks. I Went there after work for breakfast for the first time a couple of days ago. I had the iced green tea unsweetened to drink while I waited for them to cook my food. When my food arrived, I was in for a great surprise! I had ordered a side of home fries, whole wheat toast, and the Huevos Mexicano with refried pintos beans . Delicious is the word that I am going to use to describe all of it!! Yum!! We went right before dinner service started so we were able to enjoy ourselves at their 'Prime Hour' with discounted appetizers and drinks. We splurged on the bourbon flight, the prime old fashioned and the blossom old fashioned- they were incredible! We shared the wedge salad - it was ginormous! We also had the mushroom Chardonnay soup- we enjoyed that so much we went over to the market to buy some to take home. Husband had the mushroom ravioli (he's pescatarian) and I had the 16oz Waygu Ribeye. I have had Waygu at other high end restaurants and felt it wasn't worth the hype... this was incredible! It cut like butter. Oh and I almost forgot we had the blue crab artichoke dip... that was easily the runner up for the best of the night.
