This place is a hidden gem! I wish they were open longer hours. My husband used to live around this area and he discovered this place. Now we're in Orlando, but if we swing by the area during their open hours, it's a must on our list! Our go-to order is their chicken salad; it's curry flavored with golden raisins on top of rye. My husband also loves their Mac salad. I added a peanut butter and chocolate cupcake on our last visit and the staff even stopped by to make it pretty with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. From the moment you arrive you're warmly greeted like an old friend and asked if you're "takin' or stayin'"(cute way to see if you're eating in or take out). The menu is fairly extensive and literally everything looks amazing, homemade, and fresh. Order counter-style and seat yourself and they bring your order. I was in the mood for a salad and the first one on the board was their Chef salad with homemade bleu cheese on the side (I had no onions). The deli meat was smoked turkey and a nice ham, hearty helpings, hard boiled eggs, fresh romaine, cucumber, Roma tomatoes, and black olives and the dressing was devine. My husband ordered the Mom's Meatloaf on thick toasted white bread (possibly homemade), mayo, lettuce, tomato, and provolone cheese. Spectacular! As was the potato salad with a hint of sweet relish. They have a dessert revolving tray that was super tempting... but will have to wait till we pass through again. Super convenient right off I-95 and way better than fast food! What a great surprise from a small eatery...from the time that my wife and I walked in, until the time that we finished lunch, totally awesome. I give this little eatery a SUPER FIVE STARS. Service could not have been better, short wait for our food (an amazing Turkey Club sandwich), very pleasant seating and every person and I mean every employee there was tip top with professionalism. And the owner, what an amazingly pleasant person she is and she really took time to make sure that our first visit was the best-and it was. Thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. I had the chicken salad on marble rye. The bread was soft and tender and the salad was very flavorful. Been here twice in the last 3 weeks after hearing good things about this local favorite for years, and I'm so glad I finally did! It's a simple cafe setting, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. All the employees are so sweet and helpful, and the food is incredible! So far we've had the chicken salad melt (soooo good I was craving it the next day), the roast beef melt, and the reuben. They also have a display of homemade cakes and a few that they keep inside so ask what they've got. Both times, we got the decadent chocolate fudge slice. It's a HUGE portion, and even though I'm one of those with a second stomach for dessert, I can't finish it in one go! read more

As soon as I walked in and smelled the bacon cooking, I knew I wanted a BLT! I wanted an egg with it and they had hard boiled eggs so they gladly put one on my BLT. It was absolutely delicious very fresh lettuce and tomato crispy bacon, and the egg topped it off. I also had their side potato salad, which was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful. Finally stopped in to find out what exactly Eatz is and it is fantastic ! I ordered the chicken salad plate and was pleasantly surprised - it was a beautiful presentation and tasted great. No basic "ordinary" recipe, something you might expect at a fancy luncheon and plenty to eat. Can't wait to go back and try one of the sandwiches or subs. Great lunch spot! We stopped for a lunch break from our road trip on 95, easy to get to and we'll worth making the stop. The food was delicious and the portions were generous! My boyfriend and I ordered a salad and a turkey ruben, with a side of the potato salad. We split the salad. The sandwich was piled high and although he could have plowed through it, we ended up packing half of it to go. While we were enjoying our lunch, a few different sets of regulars came through. They were all cheerfully greeted and some seemed to know each other as well. It was such a nice atmosphere to be in! Because I am allergic to so many things, my review ends up at 4 stars because my choices were a bit limited. Eatz is a small sandwich, soup, & salad place tiled into a strip mall. The interior is clean & the lady who took our order at the counter was warm & friendly. I ordered a Greek Salad. The salad was basically a very large bowl of lettuce with a few kalamata olives, tomatoes, & peperocinis sprinkled in it. I identified what looked like feta cheese sprinkled in it, but the cheese had zero flavor. As a result I'm not really sure what that was. Is there such a thing as faux-feta? Lol. There was also a small scoop of very plain potato salad in it. And on top were slices of ham & salami which seemed untraditional to me. The dressing came on the side & was missing the flavor of a bold Greek salad dressing. The serving size was very decent & the lettuce was very fresh. Needless to say there are better tasting more traditional Greek salads to be had elsewhere. The highlights for me were the freshness of the food & the warmth of the worker. read more

I'll become a regular here for sure, and all of the ingredients were fresh, which Valued a lot. Tried this place for lunch while visiting Florida. Sandwiches were ok, I got tuna melt, not that great. Bacon was a bit over cooked, got a bite of a burnt piece that gave me a bad after taste.
