This is for the RESTAURANT. Honestly, it's a bit confusing that on Yelp it's hard to tell what is the difference between the reviews for the market and the restaurant. There seems to be separate listings. Also, when you go know that the Best parking is over by the market. But that means you walk through the market to get to the restaurant. When we went for dinner, the market closed while we were eating so we had to go out the front of the restaurant and walk around the building to get back to our car. As for the restaurant, first off, our server AnneKay was delightful. She was personable, fun, and attentive. Great server! My wife and I and our adult daughter died there and were overall pleased. I do have to make one negative comment about the Carpaccio, unfortunately- this was more of a salad on top of five small medallions of carpaccio. Definitely not enough meat. My wife and daughter split the braised short rib and it was delicious. I had the dry aged ribeye with the black truffle butter with the side of the wild mushrooms. It was good, but not great. I also had the Chardonnay mushroom soup. It reminded me of the soup from Sage restaurant that used to be over in Cape Canaveral. A little less creamy, but more mushroomy. If you miss that soup at Sage, this is a good substitute. All in all, we enjoyed our visit. read more

Had such a great experience at Urban Prime in Viera with a large party from my sorority! We sat outside on the patio, and even with the Florida humidity and heat, they had really nice fans outside that made it much more comfortable. The atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming, and everything ran smoothly for our group. Our waitress, Karsyn, was attentive, patient, and did an amazing job keeping up with all of us while making sure everyone had a great experience. I ordered the Sesame Tropical Salmon, which was cooked really well and full of flavor. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the mango chutney, but overall the dish was still very enjoyable and the food as a whole was good. From the service to the ambiance, Urban Prime made for a great group dining experience. Definitely worth checking out for a nice dinner or celebration! read more

I am a big believer in the power of user reviews. I take the reviews I leave seriously and I check reviews before I try any place new. HOWEVER I am also a big believer in that fact that we all have different tastes and opinions so reviews should be taken in that context. Unfortunately I let some negative reviews keep me from trying Urban Prime. It was well worth the wait. We visited today to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. We went right before dinner service started so we were able to enjoy ourselves at their 'Prime Hour' with discounted appetizers and drinks. We splurged on the bourbon flight, the prime old fashioned and the blossom old fashioned- they were incredible! We shared the wedge salad - it was ginormous! We also had the mushroom Chardonnay soup- we enjoyed that so much we went over to the market to buy some to take home. Husband had the mushroom ravioli (he's pescatarian) and I had the 16oz Waygu Ribeye. I have had Waygu at other high end restaurants and felt it wasn't worth the hype... this was incredible! It cut like butter. Oh and I almost forgot we had the blue crab artichoke dip... that was easily the runner up for the best of the night. The place was decorated cutely with fun art from what I am guessing is local artists. It was definitely a vibe and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Our server Karsyn, was great. She put up with our old people humor and treated us like we were her only patrons. We will definitely be back. We can't wait to try the sushi! read more

Tonight was the beginning of the culinary journey and the menu featured the Middle East. We were greeted by Mike the bartender and he introduced himself as our travel agent. Loved his intro and his excellent service. He told us the owner, Ercan Ekinci is from Türkiye and chose his country for the first night. We started with the Lebanese Salad, romaine, cucumbers, radish, mint, parsley crispy pita and pomegranate dressing. It was fresh, crispy, with a light tasty dressing. Our main course was the Mixed Grill, Turkish Kebab, Lebanese Chicken Tawook, saffron rice, grilled vegetables and sauces. It was very tasty, loved the rice but for me the Kebabs were dry and overcooked, not medium rare and juicy. We enjoyed our dinner, portions were large, we shared everything. I really wanted to love Urban Prime, but our night felt like a series of increasingly confusing events. We arrived at 7:29 for our 7:30 reservation and were first greeted by an outdoor band playing so loudly I have no idea how anyone on the patio was having a conversation. At the host stand, we were told there were multiple 7:30 reservations ahead of us, so we'd have to wait. That immediately made me wonder why so many reservations were booked for the same time if they couldn't all be seated. We were told to browse the market and that we'd get a text when our table was ready... except no one ever asked for our name or phone number. While waiting, we decided to try the self-pour wine station. We bought a tasting card, only to discover most of the wines we wanted to try were empty, and the employee said he couldn't replace them. About 20 minutes later, we went back to the host stand to check on our reservation. The same hostess asked if we even had a reservation, then finally asked our name. A few minutes later we were seated, but there were several open tables around us, which made the wait even more confusing. We also, unsurprisingly, never received the text that was promised. Once seated, our server, Kaylie, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and did everything she could to make up for what was clearly a rough night in the kitchen. We waited about an hour for our entrees while several tables seated after us received their food first. She apologized and even comped one of our drinks, which we really appreciated. We ordered the lemon ricotta crostini, a sushi roll, and the short rib. The crostini was delicious, although I'm still not convinced the bread was actually focaccia. The sushi and short rib were both good, but neither felt worth the price. For a restaurant at this price point, the entire experience just missed the mark. The dining room already felt a bit dated despite being relatively new, the food was decent but overpriced, and the reservation process and kitchen both seemed disorganized. I don't mind paying premium prices for a premium experience, but unfortunately this wasn't one. read more

Definitely make a reservation. We went on St. Patrick's Day without a reservation and there was about 20-30 minute wait for a table for two. We ended up eating at the bar which was lovely because the bartender was so awesome! We had two of their delicious chocolate martinis - the bartender generously gave me the extra that did not fit in the martini glass. Nice touch!They're serious about their steak and the internal temperature that you desire, asking you to cut into it after it's served to make sure that it is the right temperature that you prefer. I love a place that pays attention to details! If you get a chance, definitely get the Chardonnay mushroom soup. It was fantastic! read more

we went for happy hour and we're not impressed we're wandering where and why there were no meat dishes for appetizers except burgers. We just thought being urban prime and known for their meat. They would've had more meat related items for happy hour. Their prices were quite expensive for happy hour. Also, we go to dijans all the time. And they are a notch up above urban prime, reasonable appetizers, and reasonable drink prices for their happy hour. We just were not impressed with what was offered and the prices for happy hour, we ordered the crab dip and it was horribly fishy and ended up sending it back in the server could've cared less when we tried to discuss it with him that it was fishy tasting, and that we were from Maryland and used to a different taste with our crab meat. The ambience and the dinner side was wonderful when I went for my birthday and had the Châteaubriand, but happy hour had not as good of a time. I have been to this restaurant several times, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. The waitstaff, assistant manager, and general manager are often rude and unprofessional. I've even witnessed them speaking disrespectfully to other customers on previous visits. This last visit was by far the worst. Our party included a guest with full dementia who was in a wheelchair. As we were simply trying to move a couple of chairs to make room for at the table, the assistant manager began yelling at her mother for moving the chairs to make way. It was completely unnecessary and showed a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. It also seems the staff cannot handle a busy crowd. The restaurant appears disorganized, and the servers who bring out the food often don't know which meals belong to which guests, creating confusion and having to wave at them to let them know that my food. Customer service should always include patience, respect, and empathy especially when serving guests with disabilities or special needs. Sadly, that was not our experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides better training for their staff. read more

A little expensive and crowded. But the food is all really good. Great location in viera. We were in on a busy Friday night with a big party and at menu. Servers had a little trouble keeping up. Especially with drinks, but pro tip, the market is open and you can get your own beer, wine, sake or whatever you want when you want it. We had a great steak, although it was covered in gravy, still tasty but not the way I prefer. Calamari appetizer was great. Live outdoor music. I went to their grocery store and had their Healthy Green Salad. It's LARGE and delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Their deli selection is really varied and also quite tasty. We had reservations at Urban Prime for dinner during their French night with French foods, drinks, and music. We were excited for a special Date Night but the disorganization of the front staff put a slight damper on the evening. After walking past the store we walked to the hostess stand/podium with a stack of menus and no host . Two steps away was another desk with 3 hostesses who were stacking menus and cutting with scissors but none of them greeted us or the people waiting behind us. Finally, we got their attention and we stood waiting for about 10 minutes after our reservation time while they continued to shuffle menus and cut. I feel like at 6 pm a dining establishment host desk should be prepared to seat and greet guests, especially guests with reservations. After that, the rest was lovely. The dining room was a little loud and the music was outside so later we visited the outside area for a song. The service was lovely and the food was indeed special. It was a really fun and sweet experience. I recommend following their page on Facebook to get notified of special menus although their regular menus seemed fabulous as well. read more

I have had good experiences here. Checking in can be a bit chaotic when it is busy but the host does their best. The servers here are very friendly. The food is very good but some things are priced just right, others not so much. The biggest issue I have was the cheap plastic advertisement placard sitting on the middle of the table with a auto dealership advertisement on it. Not the stuff of upscale dining really. We have been here a couple times now. Lucky for us we had the same server, Alex who was fantastic both times we went. All the staff are friendly though. The drinks are perfect and the food is delicious! Ambiance is nice, outdoor seating available with heat lamps. Attached is a market place that has some great selections of items. They have a deli section where you can grab pre made items. Drink selection is fantastic too. Overall a wonderful place to eat. We went for special dates (anniversary) but I could see there were plenty of other people there just enjoying a nice meal with their loved ones like regular. The front of Urban Prime features a market with an expansive wine collection, including a bakery, boars head deli, and sushi station. But my favorite part has to be the wine on tap! You can load up a wine card and try numerous wines with a rotating selection. In the back, there is the restaurant and both an indoor and outdoor bar. The menu is incredible and always rotating to feature items in season. I have never been disappointed in a meal or cocktail here! I personally love the lychee martini, as well as the espresso martini. My favorite appetizers are the calamari, paired with a garlicky lemony dip, as well as the truffle Parmesan fries. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu for your main-- my most recent favorite was a stuffed chicken with pesto pasta and sundried tomatoes. I really like the vibe of the restaurant especially being seated outside. It was relaxing and refreshing. I had the salmon and we split the Brussels sprouts. Salmon was cooked beautifully, well seasoned and so fresh! I hate that they did not remove the dense fibrous end of the asparagus prior to cooking/serving it. The sprouts were also really good. Our college student was back home and first thing she said was that she wanted to eat here. I was skeptical because every time we go the bartender Kayla - is rude and seems not to be able to handle stress very well. Rainey - was our good server and we even put her at ease when a former co-worker and his table of 6 plus complained about her and gave her a couple dollar tip. I let her know he was a bad person on the job so don't mind him. I actually gave her a good tip. Now, as we live in Viera and heard the rumor from servers who were mass fired. In my opinion the older manager should have been fired. He came to our table grabbed my plate to clear the table and asked. "How was everything?" As I proceeded to let him know the food wasn't that great and my burger bread was soggy, My daughter had her sushi sent back; he walked away from me in mid-sentence. Even my daughter who doesn't like conflict mentioned that I need to yelp him. Food still not that great. We actually sat at the bar for about eight minutes before the guy bartender acknowledged us and that's even after I got pissy and asked them what kind of beers they have. To start food was excellent! No complaints there. Five stars. Got seated at a table in a corner with a wall on one side that was extremely cramped and just plane awkward. Ordered oysters for an appetizer which were fantastic but didn't come with an oyster fork and had to use my one fork to eat. Not a big problem but when my salad came I had to use the same fork to eat my salad. Usually like pepper on my salad but there was no salt or pepper on my awkward table. It literally took 10-12 minutes for my server to come by and I actually had to flag them down to get them. Salad was fine after adding my pepper and my steak came in an appropriate amount of time. Again had to use the same fork for my steak, which was perfectly cooked and delicious but was never offered a steak knife and it just seemed strange cutting an$85 steak with a butter knife. Also as never offered a refill on my Coke until the manager asked how my meal went. Overall rating reflects my experience, food was fantastic but the overall dining experience was forgettable. PS. This place is special. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Cool decor inside and offered outdoor seating too. We stayed in. Started with Chardonnay mushroom bisque which was excellent. Lots of veggies inside. Next we shared pumpkin cornbread with beef in a delicious sauce. Enough for a meal and was delicious. Jess had a huge ribeye with Boursin potato puree and I had filet with sauté spinach. Steaks were both cooked a perfect medium rare and delicious. We also tried the lobster Mac and cheese that a lot of lobster. More than I would have guessed so really good. We ended with maple bourbon chocolate cake and cappuccino. We went here for a business dinner. It was good but I expected more. I ordered the ribeye steak and it lacked flavor. It was well marbled and very good but it didn't have a lot of flavor. For what they charge I expected more. someone ordered the oysters and said they were delicious. The crab and artichoke dip was amazing as well. Someone ordered the fillet and they said it was "OK". The desserts were nothing special. We ordered three of them and we all shared and really there wasn't one of them that was remarkable. We had chocolate cheesecake, another chocolate thing with some cream inside and I can't remember the other but it was nothing great. The atmosphere is nice and they're definitely trying to be more upscale in Viera, but I think trying is the operative word. Overall if you want to give it a try, go right ahead. The food for us three diners was excellent, per usual. However the wait service from our waiter, Danny S, was way below par. Therefore the one star rating for this meal. Danny S had zero personality and was far from cheerful. My wife and I were treating my son who was visiting and we touted Urban Prime prior to getting there. We expected the excellent food and service that is routine when we dine there. My son ordered an expensive bottle of wine, but it was uncorked when brought to our table by our waiter. We notified the manager and he remedied the situation by bringing another bottle and uncorked it himself. During the course of the meal, the waiter referred to my son as "boss" which we thought unprofessional. Urban Prime needs more training for this waiter when it comes to customer service. We will return to dine again, but will not accept Danny S as our waiter. read more

Both a full grocery and a small restaurant, I tried the restaurant for lunch. The soup of the day was excellent. The steak sandwich was as well. The kale salad was an epic fail of poor preparation and textural collapse of a ver non integrated dish. Kale is tough. Especially curly kale. It needed far more chop, to let it marinate and integrate with the soft ingredients. Far too much goat cheese. It overwhelms the dish. I returned it after trying to salvage it by chopping it up myself with the salmon. Service at the bar was excellent. It has an amazing craft bar vibe, with some great top shelf picks.
