Oh wow was this great. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was outstanding and big compliments to "Red" our server. The restaurant was out of limes for our beers but they sent a runner to the store and had fresh cut limes almost immediately. We went for the basket option for our first time here. I had the catfish with sweet potato fries. I have to say it was great! My friend had the shrimp & cod basket with sweet potato fries and was not so happy. Shrimp were right out of the freezer and weren't great, she said the cod was good. We came right when the place opened. We had reservations, but we didn't even need them. To start, I shared a dozen raw oysters with my daughter. They were decent-sized. I ordered a Lover's Combo with The Bomb sauce with Medium heat. I shared with my daughter and we still had leftovers. I asked for extra lemons and they charged me $.99 for them. My daughter wanted a side of drawn butter and guess what? We were charged $2.50 extra. We were advised, though, that they were extra, so that was nice. I'm honestly not a huge boil fan. I like to dip my crabs in seasoned garlic butter and call it a day but we wanted to try something different so we decided to give them a try. Food is served hot, flavor Is where it should be. We really liked the boil. We added 1/2 lb sausage after ordering because I forgot But those were good as well. The mozzarella sticks are very bleh. But that was my only complaint. Our server was great he was attentive and gave us his recommendations and he wasn't off. Ambiance is kinda boaty themed but it's clean and well kept from what we could see. Definitely a good place for crab legs. Being from Cali, I have high expectations as far as seafood boil places. This isn't the greatest but it's also not the worst. We ordered a combo. Had clams, Dungeness crab, and shrimp. Ordered white rice along with it. And fries lightly seasoned. The sauce was meh. Their house isn't that good. Rather bland. Should've just done the garlic butter or something that's equivalent to it. But it was our first time and the waiter recommended it because it was popular. But we weren't interested. We'll pass on it next time. Fries were good. Nice and crispy lightly seasoned as we asked. I got 1lb of snow crab that came with corn on cob & potatoes, a choice of sauce ( I got garlic butter) and level of spice (mild, Med, hot, xxhot) the crabs were absolutely delicious. We got hush puppies as well, these were mediocre, the dipping sauce it came with had a strange tang to it & was not complimentary. For a local place, I would go here again, service was fast & efficient , food was tasty. Located in a strip mall with zero curb appeal , it was probably the best food decision we made on our drive to Miami. We ordered 1 Lb Dungeness crab and 2 lbs stone crab along with avaxado salad, edamame, chicken bites and sweet potato fries. Our server jocylen was extremely patient and good with our fuss .
