Chicken Marsala

My family and I tried Tuscany Grill when we were in the area, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. Service was great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming! The prices are on the higher side, but the portions are huge, so you definitely get a lot of food. Everything we ordered was really heavy though, and while it was fine, nothing stood out flavor-wise. I left feeling pretty stuffed, mostly from how rich everything was. If you're craving a big, hearty meal, this place could work, but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

The place was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. We had Amanda as our server and she was definitely on point. She was attentive and gave us great service. We definitely enjoyed the food and the service was phenomenal. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we always try to make the best moments in life to celebrate each other.

Nice Italian restaurant that offered many options on their menu. I tried a signature dish, Grilled Mediterranean which included chicken, shrimp, sausage, and noodles all seared in a pan before serving. It gave the noodles a nice little crisp which was a unique option. The dish had a nice spicy bite to it. Service was good. We were taken care of and never rushed or ignored. Our waiter was helpful in pointing out popular menu options. I liked the vibe with private booths and candles on each table.

My son reserved a room for his wife's birthday and invited her family and friends. We had a lovely lunch with only a few small glitches. The gentleman serving us were polite and friendly. The ambiance is dark and somewhat romantic. I would recommend this business for small groups.

stumbled upon this place when out shopping at a nearby book store. the entrance and decor were beautiful! The feeling of the atmosphere inside was calm and quaint. The staff were very polite, attentive, and professional! The waiters were super knowledgeable about the menu and ensured we had everything we needed. We did the 4 course meal for $35. It came with an appetizer, salad, entree, & dessert! It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! Also I don't know if he's the manager or the owner but the older gentleman that works in the front is SIMPLY AMAZING!! I ate here twice in one week! Absolutely 10/10.

Our service was excellent. We came Sunday afternoon and I do not remember her name but she definitely needs to be commended. Our two yr old toddler was struggling to sit still and our waitress went above and beyond to try to accommodate our needs. The food tasted so good. Rich in flavors and enough for two to share. Ambiance: gives date night vibes for sure.

I really love this place. We went for a Christmas party a couple weeks ago, and everyone was impressed. Today I went with just my husband. The waiter John was so professional and attentive, efficient and sweet. Of course I ordered the eggplant because I can never resist that dish. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi. Everything was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. I highly recommend Tuscany Grill.

Food was good, felt like I was waiting for a table for a decent amount of time. Was seated and cared for and our waiter was super fast, not a good or bad thing. I ordered the truffle fries with parmesan for a starter and I was pretty impressed, wish the fries were crispier. Then I ordered the Salmon Liverone and my girlfriend ordered the penne al vodka. Both were delicious. Mine was very tomatoey as well as having a good saltiness of the salmon. My girlfriend's pasta was also tomatoey for a penne al vodka. Finally, we ordered the Sea Salted Caramel Cheesecake and it was nearly perfect. The caramel wasn't too salty and the cheesecakes was really soft. Only thing that could be better was the crust, was pretty hard. The ambience was pretty and I liked the atmosphere. Everything was standard for a perfect date night with my girlfriend.

Birthday Dinner...maybe that was where I went wrong? Were my expectations too high? Everyone raved....maybe we need to reconsider who we get our recommendations from? We waited at the front of the house for a good five minutes with no hostess or anyone greeting us. The bartender saw us...and went back to looking at his phone. Finally got another person's attention and we were seated... We should have known this was not going to be a white tablecloth experience when we unwrapped our silverware from the paper napkin..a nice paper napkin but still a paper napkin. The silverware had an institutional feeling to it. Drinks came out pretty quickly as did the calamari app. The aioli dipping sauce was good but was really good when I mixed it with the marinara sauce the waiter brought out to have us sample. The marinara was bright and fresh tasting....and turned out to be the highlight. The bread was four hard rocks of yeast and flour....with pesto butter that was way over-seasoned with garlic...almost inedible. I came specifically for the Pescatore. It was lacking in a lot of seafood....three shrimp, two clams, lots of calamari, three mussels, and three scallops...(the scallops were actually the best part and one was a little under). It was an abject disappointment. Not flavorful. The white sauce was like drinking a bad glass of wine...it was off... that is the best way to describe it. We had the Baked Italiano....of our three entrees it was the best tasting and was seasoned well. It had a meatball, ravioli, eggplant, and sausage with a red sauce that was not the same as the marinara we had with the app. So not as bright but my better half liked it and she knows her Italian. Pasta alfredo with grilled chicken was the third entree....not very cheesy and why on earth would you cube the grilled chicken unless it was 1) Leftovers or 2) leftovers. Not that cheesy and bland. The risotto was crunchy....is that right?...but they say it is their best seller. White rice with parsley sprinkled on top...what was it really? Certainly not risotto. Now the other clue this was not that great is that they did not offer fresh ground pepper or fresh parmesan cheese table side. Once it got busy and it did....we had a hard time getting refills or our waiter's attention. They get a star bump for the gesture of the cannoli with a candle for the birthday boy and boxing up the food for us and they wrap the to-go boxes in saran wrap to prevent spills from what I can tell...nice touch. Pro-tip: Monday is Military appreciation night and Thursday has a special German menu...that will bring me back for another chance but tonight.....not their best if others are to be believed.

Good service. Have many choice of draft beers. Water served refilled quickly. Hot bakery bun bread served with garlic butter. Salmon Acropolis: too dry. Sauce is the saviors. Too much pasta. Recommended Slow Roasted Pork Osso Bucco. Tiramisu for dessert. Other choice are all great, Napoleon cheese cake, chocolate mousse . Good service. Nice room. Little cramped to move around. Noisy ambience. Ok for the big group party.

Quick review! Overall it was a great experience and will go back to try other items on the menu. Enjoyed the ambiance, it was nicely dimmed and decor and layout of restaurant was fantastic. The food we ordered tasted amazing. As mentioned on the picture, the Baked Italiano was overwhelmingly covered in sauce. Drinks - Old Fashioned's hit the spot! Worth checking out!

*INITIAL REVIEW* I…read morewas leaving Pau Hana Kava Bar to continue my kava bar sprint northbound on Wickham Rd., but it was lunchtime and I was hankering some food. Mimmo's Pizza and Ristorante (which I will shorthand it to Mimmo's) was always on my "to go" list ever since many of them replaced many Bizzaro's Pizzarias (Two "Z's," not one). This was a good time to actually try Mimmo's, right? I mean, why not? First and foremost, this restaruant used to be Sweet Tomatoes, not associated to the awesome salad buffet in Orlando. On the outside, the restaurant looks like any other restaurant that takes over this kind of building. Inside, it definitely has the Italian home vibes. Think of red and white checkerboard table clothes, Italian flags, wine bottle holders and the like. If you ever been to any Italian restaurant, especially one that utilizes the "family tradition" or "mom n' pop" feel, then you already know the menu. Pizza slices, garlic knots, and Italian dinners such as spaghetti, parmesian, and ziti... guaranteed to be baked in a stone oven. I did not know the pizza slices were large, and I ended up getting two. I ate parts of both and I will say they are a-okay. They don't stand out, but they are good. Wouldn't mind eating these kinds of slices again. Pricewise, the food is average across the board even if you compare it to other Italian restaurants of this same ilk. Not saying it is good or bad, just not really a standout. Not below average. Just... average. On a sidenote, the service was decently kind and the restroom, well the men's restroom, was clean and stocked. Ergo, I am going to give this Mimmo's three-out-of-five stars. Average across the board, which doesn't mean it is bad nor good... just is. This means I will not purposely seek out this Mimmo's if I am ever hankering Italian food, but if I am hankering such food and this Mimmo's happens to be convenient, I wouldn't mind eating here. Just not expecting anything more or less than what I got.

We have wanted to try this place for awhile now and we are so happy we did!…read more I ordered the Spanish chorizo. It was very good. I wish I had purchased sauce to go with it as the sausage wasn't as spicy as I would have liked nor the omelette as moist but it was still delicious. My side was the fried plantains which you can't ever go wrong with and to drink, an iced caramel cafe con leche. The drink was strong and tasted very good. For $5 that was a decent drink. My husband had the Big Cuban and wanted to go back a different day soon after to get it again. We didn't because financially it would have been a poor decision for price and gas but still that says something! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. It's cute inside- and can get busy so I'm told. They have a counter to order and they bring your food to your table.

They were very patient and accommodating to our requests. And also patient as it was our first time and tough to choose what to try. Food came out fairly quick and was fresh and hot. Food: Amazing! We loved the torta type omelettes filled with veggies and meat. We ordered the ham omelette with maduros (sweet cooked plantains. I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years and these were the best maduros I ever ate. They were so yummy crunchy caramelized on the outside and sweet and soft in the middle. Just perfect! I ordered the vegetarian omelette but added sausage and cheese. LOL! It was soooo good. Then I ordered grits on the side... they were so creamy and tasted just like sweet corn. Overall: we will absolutely be back! The food was soooo good. And they had so much more things we want to try now. Thanks yall!! 5/5!

We tried the same location a second time and same horrific service. When we moved to Florida my grandfather and I ate at one in Jacksonville and it was ok. Recently my wife and I visited the location in Melbourne, Fl. The parking lot was full and so was the building. We were seated in 10 minutes. Our server Keith took our order and was knowledgeable on the menu. However our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered soup and salad and got it in 5 minutes. I ordered hamburger and had to watch my wife eat her food. It took another 20 minutes for my burger. My wife's soup was lukewarm at best and we had to ask for a fork for her salad. There was not silverware on the table when we arrived and Keith never once offered us any. I had to use my wife's napkin. When we asked for our tab. Keith asked us to fill out a survey. Truthfully he would not want me to review his service. I will say the food for the most part was good but BJ's and Keith struck out big time when it came to basic customer service. After multiple negative experiences at more than one BJ's we have decided this is it. We are done and will never visit BJ's again anywhere
