I met up with Some friends from work for a Saturday lunch and when it came to voting, it was absolutely unanimous that this is the place to go. I've never been to this restaurant before at this specific location, but I can see why everyone picked it As is to be expected different people arrived at different times, but we were all able to sit comfortably in a group and the weight staff accommodated our amount of guests by exhibiting adaptability and patience I personally enjoyed a classic cheeseburger with a double patty and a side of steamed vegetables. Not only is this place military friendly but the quality and quantity of food I got at that price point doesn't feel like it can be beat. I will say that I glanced over at the Pizookie which looks fantastic and saw a drink with a duck in it that is going to ensure the next time I come by I try it as well Sharon was our waitress and she did a fantastic job making sure everyone's order was on point and circling back often not only to check on our food but to refresh our drinks accordingly. Another thing I liked was that people's orders were brought out virtually close to one another despite being ordered a different times. We had a fantastic time. The place was super clean. There was plenty of parking and easy to find all in all the experience merits every last one of its five star ratings. read more

We have eaten at BJ's several times. To be honest I have only had one ok experience. Our first experience was in Modesto, CA and it was horrible. We tried the same location a second time and same horrific service. When we moved to Florida my grandfather and I ate at one in Jacksonville and it was ok. Recently my wife and I visited the location in Melbourne, Fl. The parking lot was full and so was the building. We were seated in 10 minutes. Our server Keith took our order and was knowledgeable on the menu. However our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered soup and salad and got it in 5 minutes. I ordered hamburger and had to watch my wife eat her food. It took another 20 minutes for my burger. My wife's soup was lukewarm at best and we had to ask for a fork for her salad. There was not silverware on the table when we arrived and Keith never once offered us any. I had to use my wife's napkin. When we asked for our tab. Keith asked us to fill out a survey. Truthfully he would not want me to review his service. I will say the food for the most part was good but BJ's and Keith struck out big time when it came to basic customer service. After multiple negative experiences at more than one BJ's we have decided this is it. We are done and will never visit BJ's again anywhere read more

Last night was my first time at any BJ's restaurant and it was an ok experience. Even though the restaurant was full we were seated right away which was great. Being seated under a light that flickered the entire time not so great. Our food took forever to come out and while our waitress was really nice it would have been nicer if she acknowledged the wait instead of walking by and avoiding eye contact. The plus side is that the restaurant wasn't too loud and we were able to enjoy the game on one of their many tv's until the food came. The food was pretty good! Everyone enjoyed what they had. I will probably come back and try them again but maybe sit in the bar area. read more

We stopped in to take advantage of some Veteran's Day deals, and I'm glad we ended up here. We tried two other places first, but the wait times were way too long. This spot seated us immediately, which was perfect for us. The menu is a bit overwhelming, but I knew what I wanted. I'm very particular about my wings--I always order them naked with the sauce on the side so I can really judge the seasoning, crispiness, and tenderness. These wings impressed me. The seasoning was the highlight--far better than most wing spots, where naked wings usually fall flat. The sauce was your standard Frank's-style hot sauce, pretty average, which is exactly why I keep it on the side. The wings themselves had an excellent crunch with a super crispy exterior, and the inside stayed tender and moist. That combination alone makes them worth coming back for. This score would have been a 4 if it was just the wings. My wife ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes. She said the dish was exactly what she expected--simple, no surprises. She especially enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Based on her description, they sounded like the kind I'd consider slightly overworked, but she was happy, and that's what counts. Our server was incredibly attentive and kind throughout the meal. He even mentioned giving us a coupon to come back as part of the Veteran's Day promotion, but we all forgot about it by the time we wrapped up. Still, his service really stood out. Had a great family dinner at BJ's that hit all the right notes. We started with the avocado egg rolls for the table, which were crispy, flavorful, and came with a dipping sauce that I'd gladly drink by the spoonful. I ordered the steak protein bowl, and it was packed with flavor. The steak was seasoned well, the guac was fresh, and the mix of veggies made it a solid, satisfying meal. To wash it down, I went for the Piranha Pale Ale, which was bold and hoppy, and the new BJ's Sweet Sin Chocolate Porter, which was rich and smooth like dessert in a glass. We had no trouble being seated at a nice booth at lunch time. It's a bit noisy for this senior who wears hearing aides, but my dining partner and I raved throughout the meal about the excellent food and service. We walked in at 8:45 on a week night, not busy at all. We waited around until the hostess finally came out and seated us at the worst table available. We were two people and got sat at a 4 top, while there were plenty of 2 person booths open. We waited for a while and no one came to greet us or get our drink orders. We started looking around and realized that all of the tables had drinks, but no food. We also could not see a single server or manager on the floor. Wife and I ordered two smokehouse burgers that were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The fries were crispy without any greasiness. We opted for the mozzarella sticks as a app I have to say likely the best I've had in the very long time the breading was superb but not overdone. Would return again. read more

Ooof. Been awhile since I've hit a BJ's.....and haven't been missing much. Just a huge, overwhelming menu with lower quality bar food, smaller portions, and pretty expensive for what you get. Went with a large party from work, and our server did well handling some of my colleagues lolly-gagging with their orders--no issue with service. Happy hour is just at the bar and high tops which I recalled from a couple of decades ago. No one's food with the exception of one co-worker's Smokehouse burger even looked appetizing. I had the chicken protein bowl which was uninspired at best, just bleh. Expensive to eat out nowadays and it's hard to find any semblance of quality at many of the chains. I'll give points for the music and two stiff cocktails. read more

Good experience. Service at the bar was friendly & welcoming. I sampled a few beers & decided on their oasis amber. The pizzas are half off on Monday. The pizza was delicious & cooked nicely. They have daily specials as well as happy hr. Plenty of bar seating as well as bar tables. I plan to go back & try a salad or bowl. They have plenty of beers on tap, something for everyone if you enjoy beer. My friend & I were the last two in the restaurant & she (the bartender) was nice about. We didn't feel rushed at all. This is the first time coming to this location while on vacation and it left a lot to desire took. We were seated within minutes but took 20-30 minutes for someone to come to our table until a server asked if we had been helped and instead sent another server to help us. We placed our order and all the food came out at different times and some of it was cold. We went to BJ's for a family night out and we truly were impressed. We had only a slight wait, which the hostess made us aware of. The restaurant in general has a welcoming, clean appearance and we were quickly seated in a booth. The seating was perfect for our family and we were quickly greeted by "Chris" who by the way absolutely killed the server game! He was quick, made sure we were taken care of and checked on us frequently. We ordered a variety of dishes to include Chicken, Prime Rib, a Bacon Cheeseburger and wrapped it up with a Pazookie for desert! I ordered the chicken pot stickers and an OldFashioned with Elijah Craig Whiskey. The chicken pot stickers were really good and would have no problem ordering them again. The Old Fashioned was well made and I do not have any complaints about the drink or service, but the price of the Old Fashioned was over $14. There is no reason to gouge customers for a 1 to 1 1/4 oz drink! You can find Elijah Craig as low as $26 for a bottle. I am very disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant. read more

Went here tonight on a whim. We lived in Ohio and used to frequent bjs while there. Tonight however I'm not sure if it was just an off day or something but the food was very bland and cold. Even though we waited a while for it to arrive to the table. I used to order thighs with bacon jam sauce but was told that the no longer serve chicken thighs. So tonight I ordered a grilled chicken breast with roasted veggies. The veggies were literally burnt. The mozzarella sticks appear to be beautiful but were served cold/warm. By the time ten minutes went by the cheese was so stiff no pull no melt nothing. Dropped in today for lunch with my mom and sister and shopping in the area. Social distancing is enforced from the entrance to our table. Occupied tables are staggered/ socially distanced and the staff are wearing masks. Menus are available on the web through a phone camera code scan found on the table. I was looking for something on the lighter side and chose the Mahi and Shrimp Tacos. I think that was a great choice. Both the mahi and shrimp were seasoned and cooked well. I really liked the overall texture and crunch in every bite. The tortillas were lightly baked and formed into a U-shape for better filling! My mom had the Enlightened Asian Chopped Salad and my sister the Half Rack of Baby Back Pork Ribs. They both raved about the food. I loved the dressing in the chopped salad, and the ribs were truly "fall of the bone", moist and sticky! I think overall our lunch was great, and the service was pleasant. I could understand the review I read about wait time but we got there just as they opened so we just sort of expected they were just catching up to the "opening rush". read more

BJ's Restaurants, Inc. has its own Beer Club. Since 1996 its seven breweries have produced hundreds of thousands of barrels of beer, many of which have been awarded gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival. You would therefore expect BJ's to have a huge beer menu, and it does. It also has a full liquor bar. The inside of this restaurant is ringed with televisions. The place is packed with customers, which in and of itself is impressive. It strikes me as an Applebee's-style restaurant. And although it started out as a pizzeria in 1978, the menu is very diverse, going way beyond pizza to classic bar food, pastas, salads, burgers, chicken, steaks, and sides. There seems to be something for everyone, even Avocado Egg Rolls for the vegetarian. Jeffrey was our waitstaff. He was average. If you were to create a baseline for restaurant service, he would be the exact median. Jeffrey will never be on the BBDO's Top 5 Servers in Brevard List, nor will he be on the worst. In fact, if every experience I had with waitstaff was like the experience I had with Jeff, it would make this hobby easier. I guess I give him about a B- in "Server." I know that looks can be deceiving, but even the food photographs did NOT make the food at BJ's look appetizing to me. But, hey, at least I wasn't overpromised and underdelivered. I ordered the BJ's Classic Rib-Eye, a reported "Fan Favorite" with Roasted Asparagus and New Loaded Mashed Potatoes. There was no flavor, but the steak was cooked to temp and the mashed were fine. Nothing about this meal made me a fan, but it also did not make me a foe. Next, I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger, described as a fire-grilled beef patty with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and dill pickles, with BJ's signature burger sauce on a premium parker house bun. This was the star. Unlike the recent dismal stupidity of smashing a burger until all the gusto is gone, BJ's served a real 3/4-pound burger cooked to temp. Again, no real seasoning in the burger or in the side of fries that came with it, but at this level of food preparation you get loads of average folks wanting average food and BJ's gives it to them. At least they provide salt and pepper shakers at every table. If you are here for a beer with the gang, a place with a kid's menu, or a half-way decent burger, and if watching several TVs while in a crowd appeals, then you are in the right place. However, if you are an idiotropic seeker looking to go within as you mindfully consume extraordinary sustenance, you'd be better off eating someplace else. The food at BJ's is always delicious, especially their pizookies. The service was also great, Joshua was a great waiter!

Initially I never cared for this place, mostly due to the fact that they have such an expansive menu...I mean come on how do you pick something and decide when the menu has soooo much....well I decided to give it another shot when my friend asked me if I had ever had a pizooke. I looked at her crazy and was like...a what??? So she told me about this delicious cookie with ice cream dessert so I decided to give it another try. Needless to say, this is one of our "go-to" spots when we have a sweet tooth. Don't get me wrong, the food is good too...I finally found something I Iike, I usually get the tri-tip wedge and it is delicious. The lettuce is always fresh and crisp and the steak is always cooked to perfection. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of the salads. My husband usually goes for the power bowl with salmon and he loves it. Both have very generous portions and very filling. Now what you really come here for is the hot out of the oven pizookies!!! OMG, talk about amazing!!!! I usually always get the salted caramel (I'm one of those people that always sticks with what they know) because it is AMAZING!!! However, BJs allows you to sample three of these pieces of heaven in a mini trio size which allowed us to find a new #1...the sugar cookie!!! All three were amazing (sugar, white macadamia, and salted caramel) but the sugar cookie one was our favorite. Just get the pizookie and thank me later!!! Oh yeah, they have a full bar with lots of beer, wine and mixed drinks. Service is always amazing when we go so no complaints there. Exceedingly average meal that was overpriced for lunch. I had French Dip that was supposedly prime rib, the meat was dry and overcooked but since it was served with a generous portion of au jus I didn't send it back. The fries were substandard, had that coating on them that is supposed to add flavor but just tastes fake. The coleslaw was mostly chopped cabbage but it was barely chopped, the pieces were too big and it wasn't flavorful. The apps were good, brussels sprouts were especially tasty. It was only the second time I've been there in all the years they've been at that location but I wouldn't choose to eat there again. read more

The idea of putting avocados in a wrap and then deep frying it simply turns the delicate avocados mushy. Looks good in the picture but terrible presentation. Not well thought out.,, ordered salsa and chips with guacamole also. The guacamole was delicious, the salsa, Meh. The chips were crunchy but were cold and glistened with oil. We decided to try a local chain restaurant for drinks and apps! Overall okay experience. Service was very friendly and polite. The food we ordered was just okay - I would say standard for a chain restaurant. We ordered multiple drinks - the Intracostal Dragon Point IPA is a popular local beer that never fails anywhere you go! We also ordered the BJ's Award Winning Beer Flight which was fantastic. Had a great choice of flavorful beers made by BJ's! The [Mozzarella Sticks] at BJ's are very good, they serve a generous portion featuring Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top with a side of marinara. The [Loaded Nachos] were just okay (as I'm a huge nacho fan). You are served a HUGE portion of nachos. They were very "dry" in the sense of they could have afforded more cheese, whether it be melted or shredded. We chose to add chicken to our nachos which was very good! Just wish it was more "loaded" as the name describes. More on the minimalistic side. [Avocado Egg rolls] are something I was looking forward to, but I do have to say they are not served how they are presented on the menu. On the menu the egg rolls have nice huge chunks of avocado and the egg roll size itself seems to have looked smaller. What was served seemed to be guacamole in an egg roll which was slightly disappointing. Taking a bite - I would describe it as a very mushy experience. Also with as filling as these are, I could not imagine eating these even with a couple friends and making it far into dinner after. They do, however, pair very nicely with the tamarind sauce they are served with as a positive note! read more
