Incredible Dubai Chocolate Shake at Wonder Waffle After some shopping at Publix, I noticed the sign for Wonder Waffle Dubai Chocolate and decided to pop in to try it out. I am so glad I did. Wow, it was incredible! Rich, smooth, and nutty with just the right touch of sweetness, it felt like pure luxury in a cup. More than just an average milkshake. It was indulgent without being too heavy, and every sip was a delight. The shop itself has a fun, upbeat vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm already looking forward to going back to try more, but that Dubai chocolate shake will definitely be hard to beat!
Delicious, love the savory twist on waffles. never had BBQ sauce on a waffle but the BBQ chicken wonder waffel was enjoyable. The drinks were also great and tasted healthily delicious. Liked the German music in the background and server was attentive.
The waffel was pretty and presented in a very special elegant manner. The taste was just as the picture showed. The sundae tasted good, however was completely different than the picture, my girl wanted the special cookie decoration in the picture which they no longer use. If you have a picture mean they need to match or remove the picture. Service was very friendly and welcoming. The decorations were enjoyable and very selfie worthy on the decor wall. If the picture matched i would have given 5 stars ....until then solid 4
I am not a big waffle eater; however, these waffles are special. They can be sweet or savory and the owner personalizes every waffle. They have just the right amount of crunch on the outside and the structural integrity holds even after the toppings and fillings are added. My husband and I shared an apple pie Wonderwaffel. The apple filling was warm and paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. Treat yourself to a milkshake or enjoy lunch with a savory Mexican, chicken BBQ, or Italian wonderwaffel. Wonder Waffel is a spot that locals love because it's kind of hidden, but for all you visitors, I'll give you a clue to find this hidden treasure. It's in the corner of a Publix shopping mall. To find it, you must locate the giant waffle ice cream sculpture that marks the spot of this sweet (and savory) gem. This fun sculpture will catch the eye of anyone under the age 100.
I would just like to say that this place is incredible is incredible is the first place I ever got to experience Dubai chocolate and since then I have not been the same they put love into the Dubai chocolate and then they feed it to their customers and expect us to like it, and we do we love it we keep coming back from selling them. I don't know what to do because now that I've had to buy chocolate it's all I can think about and also the customer service was really nice and the decorations are very cute
Amazing food and service. The Christmas in July ambience was so cool with the music and a Grinch! Nice decor and cool atmosphere. We truly enjoyed it and appreciated the attention to detail the staff exhibited. We celebrated a birthday and the staff really went out of their way to make it a special occasion. We will definitely be back as soon as possible and also to celebrate our birthdays.
Decided to stop by after dinner with my brother and from the outside, it is very unassuming but the inside is decorated lovely and the owners were a joy to speak with. You can tell they are very proud and want to make each customer's experience unique and delightful. I decided on the Kinder Bueno sundae and my brother ordered a Kit Kat milkshake. My brother really enjoyed his shake and the presentation. He did say that he wished the flavor had more of a "punch" and I had to agree with my sundae. If you are looking for "not too sweet" or a light flavor, this may be for you. I think we were really wanting the candy's chocolate profiles. I am really intrigued to come back and try the waffles. They looked divine. Loved the seating and the whole restaurant was very clean. Check them out!

This place has the best waffles! The presentation of the plates is beautiful, and I love the personal touch. You should definitely check them out; you will not be disappointed. New Haven, West Melbourne, FL 32904 3 Stars Founded in 2011 by the Brothers Topcuoglu, the company opened its first franchise store in Dortmund, followed by openings in Berlin, Cologne, and Frankfurt. It operates over 45 locations in Germany, Switzerland, and the United States, with the most recent opening in West "By Gawd" Melbourne, FL. My server today was Serena. Serena is an excellent service pro. She is congenial and gregarious and knows the menu, "Over Under Sideways Down." People say that you can't be in two places at once. And while, currently, this is technically true, over the past seven years of doing restaurant reviews, my companion on 90% of them has been my lovely daughter, Andrea. She knows the process and service quality. So, this time, I tried a bit of bilocation and had her place the order and take pics. Andrea placed an order for one Italian Savory and one Peanut Special Waffle. She then brought the food home to my awaiting palate. My first taste of what Wonder Waffel had to offer was a bite of their Italian Savory Waffel. It certainly looked appetizing, consisting of Pesto sauce, Mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and sun-dried tomatoes. Not to beat a dead horse here, but again, with bread/pastry/baked items as your base, it is paramount that they are properly executed. This waffel was correctly cooked; it just fell incredibly flat on the palate. I was expecting a flavorful, "savory" experience, but instead, my taste buds were greeted with neutrality. The ingredients were fresh, not frozen, but the quality wasn't high enough to compensate for the bland base. My editor-in-chief called Wonder Waffel to inquire about the ingredients for the Peanut Special as it is not listed on the menu, and low and behold, he got a hold of Serena. It does make one wonder if she sleeps on a cot in the back. I jest! Serena was exceptionally polite on the phone and offered Brett a ton of information on the Peanut Special, the Waffel batter, and the whole Wonder Waffel experience. Based on her diction during the phone call, I surmise she may be the franchise owner. The Peanut Special comprises a thin layer of Nutella and Peanut Butter, followed by sliced strawberries and bananas. It is then topped with Peanut Butter Cups and dusted with a fresh peanut crumble. If you're into Peanut Butter, this sure looks like it would be right up your alley. Serena says the batter is made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I have no reason to doubt her, but again, as fresh as the ingredients may have been, it fell short on my schooled palate. The Big Boy says, "Serena is 5-star awesome sauce; the food is not."
The food is absolutely delicious and fresh, the ginger tea is delicious. The owners are super friendly, helpful, and so pleasant. We will definitely be returning. Can't wait to try more items.

**FAREWELL REVIEW** After what I think may have been a couple of years, I am saddened to write that Wonder Waffel in Melbourne is officially closed since 9 p.m. on Sunday night, August 30th. It was their last "hurrah" as money went to charity, as long-time patrons enjoyed one last wonder waffel, and for me, a chance for my friends who never got to enjoy a wonder waffel to have a taste of it, too. Everything from my previous post WAS in effect until they closed plus more, but I wanted to give one last update on how wonderful Serena and Jack are, and how much their business have brought together the community and enticed my fellow Yelpers to come all the way from Orlando just to try them. Their food was always on top for what they served. You have to understand that whole foods made the way they had is always going to be in a pricier side, but what you get is good, excellent even. They soon expanded with grilled cheese waffles, ice creams, and smoothies. All were good. But what makes Wonder Waffel amazing is how much it gave back to the community, the same community that did everything to give to them. They've supported numerous charitable causes, local businesses, and was even the location of my first letterbox hide in the international scavenger hunt game, letterboxing (similar to geocaching but way older and more old school). Wonder Waffel is now closed, but the legacy that Serena and Jack left behind will always be cherished amongst those close to them, especially since many friendships were established with them. And to be fair, the fact they are a niche and their location - which I have mentioned in my initial review - is a terrible location in my honest opinion, they've endured. I can only wish them the best in their future endeavors while this sweet chapter in their lives, in our lives, comes to a close. read more

Five stars for friendliness, flavor, and flair! We stumbled into Wonder Waffel out of curiosity over their Dubai Chocolate ice cream and ended up completely charmed. Not only was the ice cream absolutely delicious (we tried it in both a cone and cup!), but the staff--especially the German owner--were beyond friendly, warm, and welcoming. They made us feel like more than just customers, and that personal touch elevated the whole experience. The shop itself is clean, stylish, and modern with fun, cozy touches and a perfect pink aesthetic that invites you to stay a while. There's a fantastic variety of desserts, and while we haven't tried their famous waffles yet, we absolutely plan to return for them soon. Whether you're coming for the creamy gelato, the unique Dubai flavors, or just a cute photo under the #socialfood sign, this place is a gem. A sweet stop with a sweet soul. read more

We discovered Wonder Waffel while googling places to get dessert in the Melbourne area. It was the top suggestion with 5 stars and only about 5 minutes from where we were. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and offered free samples. The employees were so friendly and informative and the shop itself was so cute and clean. Our wonderwaffels were loaded with fresh fruit and delicious sweet toppings. We took our order to go and devoured the waffels once we got home! Would definitely return to try some of the other delicious options on the menu! read more

Me and my friend decided to try this place after looking around on the maps app. Overall, it was a positive experience, as the owners were very friendly and courteous! We had tried both the Oreo waffle and the Mexican waffle. The Oreo waffle was really nice, the Oreos added a nice crunch in addition to the fruit and the soft waffle, and the chocolate syrup paired great! Although the cinnamon in the waffle in addition to all of the other flavors was a bit overpowering when combined. So me and my friend could only have half of it each before it got a bit overpowering, so if you're sharing then I think it's a great option! The Mexican waffle was definitely a new and different experience, I wasn't exactly sure what to think because the textures weren't mixing right for me, and I am occasionally very particular about the texture of my food- I assume it was the soft waffle in combination with the lettuce and guacamole that had been warmed to melt the cheese, it just wasn't right for me so I personally wouldn't try that again specifically because it had a lot going on at once. But if you're okay with that that shouldn't be an issue! ^^ I didn't get to try any of the ice cream / gelato in the ice cream case since I had used up most of my pocket money at the time (the waffles are about 15-17 dollars each) but if I come by again I will definitely try out some of their flavors! :) read more

Visited on a Saturday evening, i had a sweet craving and my fiancé wanted ice cream. It is a cute little shop, and has a cute photo-op wall! I made a custom waffle with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and white chocolate chips. And a side of vanilla gelato. It was fantastic! Fiancé got a waffle bowl with chocolate and black forest gelato. He liked it so much he got a second helping! We will be going back! read more

My ferrero rocher wonder shake was amazing, and my boyfriends wonder waffle was also amazing! our items were made with love and the man who serviced us was so sweet! he wrote made with love on my boyfriends waffle box :) perfect place to get ice cream on my vacation! read more

What a great new place to have in our town. Looks like the European craze I had made it to this side of the ocean. And for good reason! These waffles are not Belgium, they are not crepes, they are the thickness of a perfect pancake, and they are delightful. I started with the Classic, though I wasn't sure about the Kiwi. I like kiwi, and surprisingly, it was only a couple pieces and was delicious. It has a cozy sofa and plenty of tables to bring friends and stay for a while, plus savory and gelato options too. The owners are so friendly. Be sure to introduce yourself and hang out for a bit. If you speak any German, jump right in! They'll love it. Go support this wonderful place so another great restaurant can succeed in Melbourne. read more

We stopped here in the past and had to give this new place a try! And surprised that there wasn't any YELP account or reviews. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival, she could tell we were new to the shop with our deer in the headlights look. She explained the categories and options. We definitely wanted to try a shake and a waffel, we decided to get one of each. We love all the fruit in #1 The Classic Wonderwaffel and tried a sample of the gelato and it was tough to choose between the pistachio and amaretto, both our favorites! There were so many choices to choose from including Vegetarian and Vegan! Both of the items we ordered were amazing, the Wondershakes come in a Mason style jar (available for purchase) and a boba straw, it was topped with Fresh made whipped cream, not the normal sugar laden versions! It reminded me of the days my Mom would make it fresh with the old fashioned O2 whipped cream dispenser from the 50-60's. Topped with a lovely drizzle of chocolate sauce. The shake was delicious and smooth, not overly sweet nor the McD concrete consistency. Our "THE CLASSIC #1" Waffel, Strawberries, Banana & Kiwi in an impressive size waffle topped with chocolate sauce and a dusting of powdered sugar. Garnished with name & two hearts because we shared The waffle was perfectly made with a crunch, not overly sweet nor loaded with the typical amounts of sodium- this low sodium gal really appreciated that! Next time I will definitely get my own! The inside was very clean, lightly decorated, music playing in the background, many tables to choose from to sit and enjoy their delicious food options. The service counter was clean, clear and eye appealing. All the menu information is on the above screens and are also available on the take away handy menus, which are in the photos below. Came in on a rainy Friday night for something sweet and got exactly that plus the best customer service as well! Cashier Serena was not only sweet but extremely helpful and offered to answer any questions that we had, very patient with us since we took some time deciding what we wanted and made the most beautiful waffle and the most delicious Ferrero rocher milkshake I ever tasted! Definitely come visit this location for a tasty treat. They even have fresh juices, sundaes and savory waffles! (Definitely wanna try the chicken bbq waffle when I come back). Hidden gem! This place is amazing. The products made to perfection, out of this world! All fresh prepared in short time. We had - Grilled Wonder Sandwich with Mozzarella, Fried Onion, Ham, Honey Mustard Sauce - Savory Chicken BBQ - Gelato Salted Caramel All was very delicous. The batter light and tasty. The Gelato heavenly! The owner are very kind and explain the products. Highly recommend stopping by for a unique experience! They have now VEGAN / Gluten - Lactose free Wonder Waffles. If you are need it, try it out. I tried it. Excellent with specials for the dough like egg replacement, almond milk, gluten free flour, etc. The ambiance is quiet, the music in the background is smart and it has enough space. All for this by a parking space for free. I like it and will visit again. read more
