Chicken Fried Steak
Erin H.

Check out the size of this chicken and waffles! It's absolutely massive!! I really enjoyed the tenderness of the chicken itself offset by it's crunchy outside. The fresh fruit and caramel on the waffles was different than other chicken waffles I've had, but I really liked it! I probably had the best dish at the table, as the other people in my party were happy but not as enthused about their dishes as I was. Service could not have been friendlier! Would come back. Solid diner food.

We went in on a Tuesday mid morning.... They had about 5 total tables.... So not busy... the food was pretty good but the service by our waitress wasn't. Rather than go into detail I'll just say we weren't the only table out of 5 that had an issue. Overall the place was good. I would still recommend trying it out. The country bowl was messy but tasty. Enjoy

OREO PANCAKES

Get the Oreo pancakes and country fried steak. Freaking amazing. The country fried steak and gravy was crunchy and delicious. The buttermilk biscuit had a nostalgic flavor and reminded me of my childhood. 10/10 restaurant will come back again.

Veteran owned. We stopped by here on our way back to Georgia from Florida. Ashlee is great at what she does! I got the southern eggs Benedict. My husband got the omelette. Great food!

Stopped at my island pancake House for breakfast before heading into Kennedy space Center and it was phenomenal, some would say "out of this world"! We walked in and were immediately greeted with a big smile and taken to our booth. We asked our super friendly waitress Michelle for recommendations and went with her spectacular recommendations, the Country bowl and chicken and waffles. These aren't regular portions these are shareable portions, they are very hearty. I highly recommend you stop by, the great service alone with have you feeling over the moon!! as in traditional southern cooking they absolutely put their foot in these amazing dishes

Marker 24 is in a residential area and accessible by land, as this restaurant is on a waterfront, and most diners pull up in the little boats. There is indoor and outdoor dining; we saw a few people outdoors but it was chilly when we were there, so we opted for indoor seating. A few stalls for parking across the street, parking stalls divided by little fish painted on the ground, which was a cute touch. Happy hour was spectacular, with buy-one-get-one-free drinks and the food prices were super reasonable to us (coming from Hawaii, where everything is super expensive). My husband ordered a Spicy Mahi Sandwich with Potato Chips (instead of fries, that's how it came) for $20 and I got a roasted mushroom flat-bread pizza for $15.00 and our appetizer was the smoked fish dip for $15.00 which came highly recommended, and we did love it, but when we saw the crackers, we were laughing. We were expecting bread or flatbread, but that's just fine, being a waterfront casual restaurant. Total bill = $70.62 without tip. Everything was delicious, no complaints. Service was attentive and friendly. After dinner we took a stroll out to the back of the restaurant onto the pier and watched the sun go down. If we lived in the area, we would visit frequently!

I ordered chicken nachos with extra cilantro and they must have misunderstood because I got no cilantro. Very bland nachos although it was a lot of nachos if that is what you're looking for. We were told about the special which my friend ordered. It was a piece of fish in sauce with a small bowl of rice on the side. Pretty shocked to see it was $36 when we got the bill. Over all it was a one and done for us.

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.

Since we were catching up with family we chatted away about 45 minutes and we realized "where is our food". Somewhere things went off the rails. To say we were surprised is an understatement. Finally the manager comes over and says the food should be out in a minute. An hour after ordering our food arrived. The food was average at best. Not what we experienced before. Two of the six ordered the daily special (ribs), two carbonara, ravioli and a salad. Not complicated. Manager was apologetic and comp'd the table. Server was upset since every table In her section had issues. We took care of Taylor knowing it wasn't her fault. Am I off Miller's. No. But if they repeat this nightmare I will have to really think twice about coming OTB. Also they got rid of the Field Goal Trio of wings, zingers and shrimp. So sad.

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

He took my plate of batter and walked off with an attitude. Recommend the fish and chips. The cook was rude and disrespectful. Definitely not at all what expected. I will never be back.
