You have a peek a boo view of ocean, the pool is in front of you and the area is covered w ceiling fans and very comfortable. However, you can sit at the deck on the ocean- it is open air so bring a hat. Food: we had delicious hamburgers and they accommodate no roll, and your food requests . This is a Marriott property. Eh! I mean... maybe it had been talked up too much by others? No view to speak of unless you strain your eyes to look past the kids at the pool. Service was sad. It took sooooo long to get a spritz. So long I forgot I'd ordered it. She was never in sight. Always gone somewhere. Was her area too large or was she hiding in the kitchen? I was so excited to get the shaved ribeye sandwich but it was... a shaved burger patty??? I mean... literally. That IS what it was. NGL it tasted good but the burger on the menu is a "special blend" not a ribeye... and this was 100% a "shaved" burger patty advertised as a "shaved ribeye". Fries were typical bar food. Crispy though! Drinks were okay but not at all worth the price and time. (Was I spoiled by the last restaurant we'd visited in Brevard that had exceptional draft selections and great prices on everything? Maybe.) Beer was warm. The ONLY thing we absolutely loved was the entertainment. Joshua Keels was playing, we'd never heard of him but wow! Went and found him on Spotify it was so good. Covers and originals. We had lunch here and we really enjoyed it. I had the carne asada bowl and my fiancé ordered the Dragon Bowl both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The seasoning was on point and everything tasted super fresh. We also tried the Paloma and a glass of white wine, which paired well with the breezy, oceanfront vibe. The prices are steep (think $20+ for a salad with chicken), but considering it's located right by the beach in a hotel, it's not exactly surprising. It's more of a treat-yourself kind of place. If you're staying at the hotel and don't want to leave the property, this is a solid option, especially for a special occasion or a relaxed afternoon with a view. Stopped into Ebb & Flow while staying at the Element for work, and I'm really glad I did. The carne asada bowl I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and honestly way better than I expected from a hotel-connected spot. But the true standout of the night was Lyndsey. Her upbeat, bubbly personality instantly lifts the whole atmosphere -- she's absolutely made for customer service. The bar is pretty limited, but I can imagine an ice-cold beer hitting the spot if you're walking up from the beach. Between the oceanfront setting, great food, and genuinely warm service, I could definitely see this place being a fun hangout spot, not just a convenient option next door. read more

Ebb & Flow Element Melbourne Oceanfront Hotel 2655 N. Hwy. AIA Melbourne, FL 32903 3.5 Stars Well, butter my buns and call me a biscuit! I thought for sure I was done with Brevard, but we have a few more to get to before we skedaddle out of these here parts. This one is for the restaurant located in the new hotel built on the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, specifically the Element Melbourne Oceanfront by Marriott. I do not put much stock in hotel food, based on my own experience. They have you trapped and know it. This is the same reason a bottle of water will cost you $ 5 in an amusement park and $ 2 at a 7-11. Now that the parking lot is gone, everyone must use valet parking; however, if you are dining and not a hotel guest, there is no charge. Before delving into the grub, I have to mention the server, Jonah was outstanding in every way a server should. I am batting a thousand since my return, and life is good. I asked Jonah for one Dragon bowl and one Birria Beef Dip Sandwich. Whatever you do, do NOT look at their website for a valid representation of their food. You will be catfished. When Jonah returned with my order, I snapped the prerequisite photos and sat aghast. The fish in the Dragon Bowl looked to be at least seven years old. However, it did not have the smell one would expect to find wafting off of a fish that had been sitting around for seven years. I found that it is the sauce that gives it that look. It consists of ahi tuna, sushi-grade salmon, spicy krab salad, sushi rice, shaved black radish, edamame, avocado and wakame. This was quite tasty on the palate. The rice was fluffy, fun and as good as you will find in any sushi joint. The edamame was also excellent. I found the Birria Beef Dip Sandwich to have a similar visual appeal to the fish bowl. It was also surprisingly edible and lip-smackingly scrumptious, just like the aforementioned Dragon dish. This thing looked like an escapee from the microwave oven and was bursting with flavor, with zero bad aftertaste (which, upon inspection, one kind of expects). The garlic and herb vegetable chips that accompanied the sammich were fresh, crispy and delightful. We started with the Strawberry Spritzer and Painkiller -- both recommended and for good reason! Presentation was beautiful and taste was even better. For our meal, husband chose the beef dip sandwich and I had the Caesar salad with recommended blackened salmon. I normally don't go for blackened but decided to give it a try - so glad I did. It was one of the best I've had in a long time. Our server, Joshua, was friendly and attentive. The ambience was a little lacking, but we were there at night and facing the windows looking in, so it felt a little sterile. I think a different spot or at a different time of day would have helped. I love beachfront outdoor bars and couldn't wait to try this place located on the roof of the new Element hotel. The bar area is smaller than I anticipated with seating for eight maximum and is located right next to the pool. The bartender was friendly and she had one runner bringing drinks to those seated around the pool. It took a minute to get our drinks, but we were greeted immediately and she told us she'd be right with us. They have a full liquor bar and some signature cocktails. There was a nice breeze off the ocean and the couple seated next to us was delightful. The only disappointing thing about this bar is the menu. It's very small and it tries too hard to be fancy for a hotel next to a pool bar. With cheese and charcuterie boards and fancy sandwiches nothing children will eat. With a better menu this would be five stars. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone, and he was fantastic. read more

Mixed feelings on Ebb & Flow. The positives are that the food was delicious and beautiful presentation. The dragon bowl and my friends tacos were both great. The negatives are more abundant. I was expecting to be able to see the ocean from my dinner table and that is not the case. The pool is closest to the ocean and the restaurant is behind it. At the bar your back faces the ocean, still with a blocked view. Whoever designed this missed the opportunity to do them side-by-side so that both had an ocean view. There was one bartender and only one server/runner who was very overwhelmed. The food and drink are also expensive, $16 for a cocktail may be one of the highest in the area. I can see this being a good choice if you're staying in the hotel, but otherwise I would not choose this restaurant as a local for dinner again. read more

First you have a choice to valet for about $10 or self park. You go up the elevator to the second floor And head outside. There is bar seating regular dining tables under a canopy or lounge chairs and high tops in the sun and of course she could also eat poolside. The menu is on the higher end and I wish the food represented the price. In my opinion you are paying for the view because it does have a beautiful ocean view on the deck and the ambience is sophisticated and modern. They have a lot of signature cocktails and we enjoyed the Ebben flow signature cocktail as a Mocktail which was quite delicious. We tried the Carne Asada bowl which retails for $31 and it was recommended that we share it and it was enough portion that it did satisfy two of us.flavor was on the mild side I recommend asking for some hot sauce. The service was attentive but we were also only one of a couple tables there during our visit. Go there for the ambience but not an economical lunch experience. read more
