We had lunch here and we really enjoyed it. I had the carne asada bowl and my fiancé ordered the Dragon Bowl both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The seasoning was on point and everything tasted super fresh. We also tried the Paloma and a glass of white wine, which paired well with the breezy, oceanfront vibe. The prices are steep (think $20+ for a salad with chicken), but considering it's located right by the beach in a hotel, it's not exactly surprising. It's more of a treat-yourself kind of place. If you're staying at the hotel and don't want to leave the property, this is a solid option, especially for a special occasion or a relaxed afternoon with a view. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was laid-back. Definitely worth it if you're in the mood for something fresh, flavorful, and convenient.

Ebb & Flow Element Melbourne Oceanfront Hotel 2655 N. Hwy. AIA Melbourne, FL 32903 3.5 Stars Well, butter my buns and call me a biscuit! I thought for sure I was done with Brevard, but we have a few more to get to before we skedaddle out of these here parts. This one is for the restaurant located in the new hotel built on the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, specifically the Element Melbourne Oceanfront by Marriott. I do not put much stock in hotel food, based on my own experience. They have you trapped and know it. This is the same reason a bottle of water will cost you $ 5 in an amusement park and $ 2 at a 7-11. Now that the parking lot is gone, everyone must use valet parking; however, if you are dining and not a hotel guest, there is no charge. Before delving into the grub, I have to mention the server, Jonah was outstanding in every way a server should. I am batting a thousand since my return, and life is good. I asked Jonah for one Dragon bowl and one Birria Beef Dip Sandwich. Whatever you do, do NOT look at their website for a valid representation of their food. You will be catfished. When Jonah returned with my order, I snapped the prerequisite photos and sat aghast. The fish in the Dragon Bowl looked to be at least seven years old. However, it did not have the smell one would expect to find wafting off of a fish that had been sitting around for seven years. I found that it is the sauce that gives it that look. It consists of ahi tuna, sushi-grade salmon, spicy krab salad, sushi rice, shaved black radish, edamame, avocado and wakame. This was quite tasty on the palate. The rice was fluffy, fun and as good as you will find in any sushi joint. The edamame was also excellent. I found the Birria Beef Dip Sandwich to have a similar visual appeal to the fish bowl. It was also surprisingly edible and lip-smackingly scrumptious, just like the aforementioned Dragon dish. This thing looked like an escapee from the microwave oven and was bursting with flavor, with zero bad aftertaste (which, upon inspection, one kind of expects). The garlic and herb vegetable chips that accompanied the sammich were fresh, crispy and delightful. The Big Boy says, "The view is spectacular, Jonah is awesome and the food is slightly above average. Enjoy!"

The ambiance is really nice. Beach view & fire pit. Plenty of seating & open space. Tables are a bit tightly placed. Food & cocktails are pricey. Beer would be my go to & maybe hummus. I haven't tried the food not sure I will. I'll go back to check out their happy hour.

I love beachfront outdoor bars and couldn't wait to try this place located on the roof of the new Element hotel. The bar area is smaller than I anticipated with seating for eight maximum and is located right next to the pool. The bartender was friendly and she had one runner bringing drinks to those seated around the pool. It took a minute to get our drinks, but we were greeted immediately and she told us she'd be right with us. They have a full liquor bar and some signature cocktails. There was a nice breeze off the ocean and the couple seated next to us was delightful. The only disappointing thing about this bar is the menu. It's very small and it tries too hard to be fancy for a hotel next to a pool bar. With cheese and charcuterie boards and fancy sandwiches nothing children will eat. With a better menu this would be five stars. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone, and he was fantastic.

A good place to view SpaceX launches.

We visted Ebb & Flow on a Saturday evening at about 5:15pm and found a good seat with a view of the beach. The musicians were good. We ordered drinks and had a good time. Our waitress was Samantha and she was very attentive and kind. We will come back. And we saw a great SpaceX launch!

Mixed feelings on Ebb & Flow. The positives are that the food was delicious and beautiful presentation. The dragon bowl and my friends tacos were both great. The negatives are more abundant. I was expecting to be able to see the ocean from my dinner table and that is not the case. The pool is closest to the ocean and the restaurant is behind it. At the bar your back faces the ocean, still with a blocked view. Whoever designed this missed the opportunity to do them side-by-side so that both had an ocean view. There was one bartender and only one server/runner who was very overwhelmed. The food and drink are also expensive, $16 for a cocktail may be one of the highest in the area. I can see this being a good choice if you're staying in the hotel, but otherwise I would not choose this restaurant as a local for dinner again.

First time eating at Ebb and Flow, it was good! We just live down the road so this will be a great addition to our sunny day spots for food and a view of the water. Lyndsey was great! She doesn't let a glass go empty and gives great food recommendations!

Happy hour drinks and food were amazing! Great atmosphere. Lyndsey is the best! Highly recommend stopping by even if you aren't staying at the hotel

However, what was given to us was some branded plastic package of some cheese and cold cuts you can get from the refrigerated section in any grocery store and some gas station convenience stores. The epic failure of what should be a no-brainer of how not to serve food was an unfortunate distraction from the things that were well done.

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

What has greatly suffered however is the experience and ambiance. Don't get me wrong. The service also is still very good to excellent. The building design and decoration and paint looks and feels cold, industrial and unfriendly the floors look like unfinished concrete, the tables and wooden benches don't have a quality feel. It lacks character, charm and warmth. As much ch as I love the sandwiches and raquet fries and the service I just can't shake the stark industrial ambiance and feel. The outside feels a bit better but just marginally and it's just too darn hot to eat outside most of the year. Both old locations had charm and energy and a friendly flair about them. The ambiance is 2 stars but because the sandwiches are still great and service was good to great I'll still give four stars. Unfortunately I won't be coming by very often and won't choose it as a place to bring friends or employees or clients to for a bite and a drink or two. I hope an upgrade will be in the cards.

The food for our larger party came out hot and fresh and pretty quickly! I thought the chicken cheesesteak was interesting. Definitely not what I'm used to in the Philly area, but still tasty nonetheless. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy and the waffle fries were heaven. I love the casual seating outside and the slightly more elevated, brightly lit, indoor seating as well. The bathrooms were clean and well lit.

She took one look and said he wasn't going inside. She didn't ask if he was a service dog. She didn't ask if he is trained or what is he trained to do. So I explained he is a service dog. So we came inside and a good vibe young man told us we can sit anywhere. It was a while before a very young man, a child, came to ask us what we'd like to drink. The manager delivered our iced teas. She asked what we wanted to eat and when I said I'd like the NY Strip medium and could I have a little horseradish sauce on the side she abruptly shut that down. She could have said she could check to see if there was some left over from yesterday. So I asked if maybe there was some left over. She said she'd look but I started feeling nausea about the whole thing and suddenly wasn't so hungry. Her vibe sent daggers in my heart. It seemed to us that she was really pissed off about my service dog, and she visibly treated us harshly compared to the couple that was sitting a few tables away from us. Thankfully, Alli started taking care of us and her beautiful energy was a lot more relaxing. We were able to finish our meal on a good note and even have a little caramel cheesecake. In three years, this is only the second manager that was immediately and unnecessarily negative about my service dog. He has gone to every restaurant and everywhere I go when I leave the house. I still don't understand why so many managers or servers don't understand the ADA guidelines for how to treat people with service animals. Every manager should be required to read the ADA guidelines. They don't realize the impact they have on people who are already vulnerable.
