    Salad bar

I've never been here before and safe to say I probably will not be back. My family wanted to go because of the salad bar and that is where the ordering should have stopped. The ribs looked so dry and overcooked my brother in law couldn't eat them. I was not a fan of whatever sauce they use on their wings because it has this sticky sweet taste to it. I think the salad bar and French fries were the only thing people liked. Not to mention it felt like we were being ignored most of the time we were there. It took far too long to get our checks and cash out and leave.

We had the brisket dinner and soup and salad bar with a side of brisket. The brisket dinner was just ok. The corn on the Cobb had no flavor. My Food (soup/salad bar and brisket was awful. Corn chowder was a thick pile of paste. Pea salad on the salad bar was sour and tasted spoiled. There was a liquid substance in a crock on the salad bar that used to be jello. Overall taste of salad bar items was not good. The BBQ sauce was good. We came because this place was described as a great salad bar. Free ice cream with all dinners is a positive but it was almost melted coming out of the machine. Unfortunately it is not the best salad bar in brevard county. Will not return The hunt for the best salad bar continues!

I love the Sliced Brisket Sandwich. The unlimited Salad and Soup bar seemed to be very popular, I didn't hear anyone have anything but to say how good the food is!

First time here and wasn't pleased with the food . It wasn't crowded at all when we arrived and got to seat ourselves. I had the special which was pulled pork on a bun and a side of coleslaw. My friends had a whole chicken which they split . The waitress was nice and quick and helpful thou . I should have probably said something about how dry the meat was but I didn't . I might try to go again to give it one more try .

Fried okra. I like how they cut it up into bite-sized pieces and you pick at it with a toothpick.

Dustin's Bar-B-Q is one of the many American barbecue restaurants in Melbourne that nobody really knows is a local joint or another link in a chain of restaurants. I mean the restaurant has the look and feel cookie-cuttered for multiple locations, yet I haven't seen any other Dustin's Bar-B-Q's outside of the one in Melbourne. Nevertheless, the restaurant is more than decent pertaining to what they serve. As mentioned earlier, Dustin's Bar-B-Q has the same look and feel as a restaurant that is one link in a chain. Think of how Cracker Barrel looks and you'll get my drift. Rustic decor, high-class picnic tables refurbished for indoor seating, red-and-white checkered tablecloths, the whole look that is stereotypical of Southern hospitality. And top of that, the place (as much as I have seen) is primarily clean. This detail extends to the restrooms too though the occupancy may be a hindrance for women. Ultimately, the food is what makes or breaks any restaurant and Iam happy to report the food here is great. They have many kinds of Southern foods like fried okra, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, cornbreak, biscuits, gravy, turkey, ribs, and the rest of the fixins. All that my crew and I ordered was to point and very delicious. Dustin's Bar-B-Q gets four out of five stars. The only reason it doesn't have a perfect score is the last star is dedicated to continuity. If I visit this restaurant probably a couple more times and if receive the same stellar service and great food, I will change my review to a perfect five out of five stars.

This is the BEST Brisket I have EVER tasted!! I also got the Cajun shrimp and it was amazing. Casual, laid back place with amazing food. Quick, friendly service.

Sooo good lean smoked beef. Awesome sauces sweet and mustard. Even the beans and string beans are real good. Of corse wash it all down with sweet t. Prices have gone up but that's everywhere. They do have free self serve soft serve when you leave.

This place has definitely seen better days. The salad bar looks pretty sad and the meat is usually dry with small portions.

Y'all. I grew up on Woody's in Broward. It is my blueprint for barbecue. We've been having family drive big takeout orders down here from this location whenever they visit and it is just as good as I remember. The ribs are fall off the bone tender, and the barbecue sauce is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky. The cornbread is soft and sweet, the toast is buttery and thick, the coleslaw is chopped small and not too wet or too celery heavy. And the BEANS. I love these baked beans. They have pieces of pork in them and are perfect. I could eat an order of just beans and be happy. I've also recently discovered their sausages, which pair so well with the spicy barbecue. Their coconut cream pie and chocolate pie are delightful too. I've never eaten in here so I can't speak to the actual restaurant experience. That being said, the staff do go out of their way to pack the orders in the catering trays when they hear we're taking it long distance. We have sometimes had issues with pieces of the order getting left out, but they've always been very good about making it up to us. I have no good pictures of the food because I inhale it the second it arrives. Trust my one rib photo and twenty years of loyalty to the Woody's name and give them a try!

Woody's has an ENORMOUS menu with just about anything (baby back ribs and half chicken and sweet potatoes are STANDOUTS) and the prices are EXTREMELY fair for this economy. Clean and cozy restaurant, not loud, clean bathrooms, too. No need to look ANYWHERE else for BBQ.

We visited Charlie & Jake's on Father's Day and first impressions were great. The place was spotless, had that rustic barbecue-joint vibe, and despite the holiday crowd, we were seated quickly and greeted right away by a friendly, professional server. Service was pleasant, but our drinks seemed to be playing hide-and-seek. We had to ask for refills every single time we wanted one. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Food came out quickly. My husband ordered the smoked Old Fashioned, which arrived with enough dramatic presentation to make nearby tables stop and stare. Absolutely worth ordering. A small hiccup: when I unwrapped my utensils, the knife appeared to have some sort of residue on it. Since I didn't actually need the knife, I didn't ask for a replacement, but it was worth mentioning. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the smoked chicken. Holy smoke signals, Batman. This was hands-down the best smoked chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, flavorful, perfectly cooked. I would happily order it every week and never get tired of it. My sides were collard greens and a baked sweet potato, both served in adorable metal measuring cups. The sweet potato was good. The greens were fine, but could have used a little more seasoning and personality. My husband ordered one of the meat platters. He enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything that inspired a speech, tears, or vows of lifelong devotion. The toast, however, nearly drowned itself in butter. I wasn't aware bread could absorb that much liquid and still maintain structural integrity. It was literally dripping when he took a bite. Somewhere between toast and sponge. My hush puppies were unfortunately the low point of the meal. They tasted like someone mixed flour and water, formed little balls, and introduced them to a deep fryer. They desperately needed seasoning and I didn't finish them. The fried pickle appetizer was excellent and the portion was generous enough to feed a small pickle-loving village. When the server dropped off the check, we politely declined. We don't leave restaurants without dessert unless there's a natural disaster involved. My husband ordered the banana pudding, which came in a cute square glass container and was very enjoyable. My daughter ordered the peach cobbler. Calling it "peach" felt a little optimistic. There were approximately two peach slices in a mountain of cobbler topping. She loves crust, so she wasn't upset, but if you're expecting fruit, bring a magnifying glass. The filling itself could have used more flavor and some warm spices, and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce. A good vanilla bean ice cream would have elevated the whole thing. My son ordered the peanut butter chocolate pie and immediately entered a state of dessert enlightenment. Deep peanut butter flavor, rich chocolate, absolutely fantastic. Final takeaway: Order the smoked Old Fashioned. Order the smoked chicken. Order the peanut butter chocolate pie. Maybe don't order the hush puppies unless they've found a spice rack since Father's Day. Overall, a clean restaurant, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and a few standout menu items that are worth coming back for.

Went for lunch on a Friday and they had two servers and only one working the dining area. We sat in the very dark dining area. Every surface was painted black. Lighting was pretty poor and it was hard to read the menus. Ordered a pulled pork platter and a pulled pork sandwich. They both came with "fried chips" and the platter had another side and we chose beans. Bourbon Bbq sauce was our choice. The pork was good. Good portions on both sandwich and platter. Beans had some "heat" which I don't favor but my son really liked. The chip fries or fried chips - whichever they call them were seasoned with a garlic salt it tasted like. However they could have used about another minute I the fryer. The bigger ones were raw in the middle. May have been a byproduct of a large party in their event room throwing off their timing. But if cooked a bit more they would be a unique side for the area and good. Server was stretched thin. Freshens my son's drink but not mine until he brought the check. By then meal was over. I had water. Not difficult. Rib special looked good from a distance and I heard they are known for wings. Maybe next time. Noticed there is a private room for events that most restaurants do not have. So a point to consider.
