The service at Slow & Low BBQ is great and the food is delish. You can't go wrong with sitting on their covered patio which is full of tvs and Florida paraphernalia - go gators! Del was an awesome waitress.

Excellent experience. We enjoy their outdoor area, especially when they provide live music - It's so relaxing. The staff is very nice & knew exactly how to read the table - We never had to ask for a thing. Their food is delicious! Give it a try!

    Great presentation on food

Yes food, service and it also had a bonus. They had music there. Teddy V, he was fabulous. My husband and I danced. Waiting to see when he will be back.

Dined in late on a Saturday night and it wasn't bad at all. Our food was good and very tasteful. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were good.. I had the exploding potato w/brisket and it was delicious. Service and ambiance was very nice even though it was late. My daughter had the brisket sandwich, and my husband had the brisket plate both enjoyed their meals with no complaints. Overall it was a good restaurant to eat at but not the best BBQ (brisket) I've eaten.. will go again if wethe area.

Fantastic. Me and my roommate are brand new to the area and wanted to get some lunch because we just moved in and don't have groceries. This place did not disappoint! Our server, John, was super friendly and punctual and he made our experience all the more impressive. We were both more than satisfied with our lunch menu specials and that goes with the taste, price, and portion size. Some must tries include the cornbread (that is NOT dry) and the homestyle Mac n cheese (it is worth the splurge). The drink specials are also INSANE. I enjoyed everything I tried at this place and so did my roommate! This place will definitely be seeing us again.

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

You find the secret book, pay the $5 membership fee listen to the slightly too long intro pitch and…read morethe book shelf opens, admitting you to the speakeasy. It was crowded. It was elegant. The cocktails were exceptional. I asked for classic cocktails that weren't in the menu. They delivered. Love the place. Why Four stars? Service was three bears. The waiter with the blonde mop of hair is very nice but inexperienced. Too on top of customers when they arrive. He needs to give a menu and give a few minutes for guests to peruse it. The head bartender is brilliant. Talent without hospitality, though, is a craft cocktail fail. Kindness counts. The vibe was colder than the cocktails. I hope it improves on future visits. The blonde bartender in the grey dress was just right. Professional, attentive, and kind. This is easily a six star speak. When you are serving? You are "on." Be as excellent and calm of a person as you are outstanding at your craft.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.

When we originally put our name on the list they said 1.5 hrs but I think we waited 20-30 minutes for a seat. We had Ian as a server, he was great! Ambience/Crowd: It's a place for family or a romantic date or a girls night out... very mixed crowd of all walks of life. The crab cake was ok, not my fav the oysters Rockefeller need a bit more season in the mix, and my mom and brother loved the calamari especially with their sauce. The star of the show was the 40 oz tomahawk steak with Yukon potatoes, asparagus, and cauliflower puree. AMAZING!! I also had the crème brûlée which was perfect.
