Consistently come back here, and the food never disappoints. Great in the summer, the vibes and decor are immaculate.

Fried Ipswich clams

A very enjoyable dinner with my son. Surprised how crowded it was but after eating there understood it. Huge portions and the food to justify it. I started with the clams. They were great, but make sure to ask the price, market price for an appetizer was a little surprising. I really enjoyed the halibut, it was fresh and the sauce added a lot. An excellent meal and would love to go back.

Absolutely the best fish sandwich I have ever eaten. The freshness was unmistakable. Sooo glad I stopped by

Entrance has handicapped parking.

My 94 year old mom and I were planning on going to Gloucester House, but they were closed. A person walking away recommended Seaport Grill. It was Tuesday and they had a special Lobster menu. What a fantastic meal! The lobster was delicious and fresh! My mom is gluten free and their chocolate dessert was a real treat! If I lived within driving distance, I'd be there every week on Tuesday! The wait staff was very friendly and was fast and thorough. The view was great and fun to watch the boats go by.

Manager said this is Pan seared when asked if this is normally how they are cooked. They were overcooked and rubbery. The rest of the menu was amazing.

Came to Seaport Grille for a late lunch. This restaurant's portions are large and filling! Both meals were delicious! We had the Lobster Club and the Fisherman's Platter. Both meals were fresh and tasty. The fries were our favorite! They were so good! The service was phenomenal and on point. Our waitress was on top of refills and ensuring our meal was good. The ambiance of the place is cool! It over looks the harbor area and it was a beautiful day with a nice breeze. Would recommend if you are in the area. Prices are a bit high but you get a lot for what you pay!

Blackened Mahi Mahi Baked haddock

The location alone is unbeatable--right on the water with a lively, fun atmosphere and beautiful views of the harbor. Whether you sit inside or out on the deck, the vibe is always welcoming and relaxed. The seafood is as fresh as it gets - exactly what you'd hope for in Gloucester. Portions are also quite generous, so be sure to come hungry. The staff deserves high praise. There was a bit of a mishap with our appetizer not arriving before our entrees. So the manager was kind enough to comp our appetizer and deliver it to us anyways. Blackened Mahi Mahi A very generous portion of perfectly seasoned fish, served with jasmine rice and guacamole. Baked Halibut Again... a very generous portion & well seasoned halibut served with a creamy white sauce & asparagus Seaport Grille is the kind of place you can come to with family, friends, or a date and know you'll have a great meal and a great time.

Gross!

We had a horrible experience! Bartender was the worst. Employees on there phone. Anyone manage this place? This place came highly recommended Canned soup, small lobsters, rotten corn.

Seafood trio

Atmosphere is great, its right by the water. We loved our waitress, she was really lovely. Food portions are huge!!! And most importantly they have pina colada!! We enjoyed our food and will def come back

I always use Yelp to see what is around and this looked like a good option. So glad we stopped! My husband had the swordfish. He said the best swordfish he had the whole trip!!! Nice large piece of fish and he said it had little too much blacking seasoning but he was it was amazing. I could not decide what I wanted because it all looked so good. It was lunch and I really wanted the Risotto. But, I didn't want anything super heavy. Glad I chose it anyway. Holy smokes was it delicious. The risotto was perfectly cooked and not too buttery. I have found Maine loooves their butter & often drown their dishes. This was perfect. The fish was amazing and I definitely over ate!! Thinking back, this was one of my most favorite meals in all of Maine. I still dream of that Risotto.

We arrived just before noon, and by 12:30 they were packed, and after sampling the fresh seafood, we could see why. My wife and I both had New England Clam Chowder - rich, thick, smooth, briny, hints of bacon, and large pieces of fresh clams. She had Thai coconut shrimp for her main, and I had their 2-lb. Steamer bowl. Both could not be fresher. Our server was friendly and thorough, but somewhat over-burdened, which resulted in a delay paying our bill...but thats the only ding I could give The Lobster. Next time we're in Gloucester catching a whale watch, we will definitely be back.

A Spectacular Evening of Music at The Cut in Gloucester!…read more The Cut in Gloucester is an exceptional venue that beautifully combines live entertainment, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it one of the North Shore's most enjoyable destinations. My husband and I recently attended a truly unforgettable event there as guests of our daughter and son-in-law, and we left thoroughly impressed by both the venue and the outstanding performance we were fortunate enough to experience. On August 19, we attended the Gloucester Student Band's tour kickoff concert, and it exceeded every expectation. One of the highlights for us was watching our granddaughter perform on clarinet alongside an impressive ensemble of talented young musicians from local schools in Grades 5 through 12. The band's rich sound came from a remarkable combination of flutes, trumpets, alto and tenor saxophones, clarinets, trombones, baritone saxophones, French horn, and percussion, creating a professional-quality performance that filled the venue with energy and excitement. The students brilliantly performed 15 selections, including crowd-pleasing favorites such as Ghostbusters, Mamma Mia, Bohemian Rhapsody, Copacabana, and YMCA. Every piece showcased the dedication, skill, and enthusiasm of these young performers. A special round of applause goes to the band's talented and passionate director, Jamie Green Klopotoski, whose love of music and genuine connection with her students was evident throughout the evening. Her leadership inspired an outstanding performance and created an atmosphere of joy that was contagious. The Cut provided the perfect setting for this dazzling concert. The lighting, sound quality, seating, and overall ambiance enhanced every moment of the performance. We especially enjoyed seeing the outdoor marquee on one of Gloucester's main streets proudly announcing the Gloucester Student Band and the evening's follow-up concert featuring the Reset Button Brass Band, which included Director Jamie Green Klopotoski on saxophone. Adding to the experience was the scenic drive through Gloucester, with its beautiful coastal views and quintessential New England architecture. The venue itself also offers delicious food and even a fun basketball-toss arcade game, making it a wonderful place to spend an evening with family and friends. We highly recommend The Cut to anyone looking for outstanding live entertainment, a comfortable and vibrant venue, and an opportunity to support local talent. This magical evening was filled with music, community spirit, and unforgettable memories that our family will be talking about for years to come. Bravo to The Cut and to the incredible Gloucester Student Band!

Acoustics not bad, but with smaller area it is pretty loud so if you have sensitive ears you may want to bring plugs.

I just met her, but I felt like I was coming home. I waited for my friend to arrive & a couple bar seats to open up, and there were about two dozen people who came in after me while the wait was predicted to be an hour since most had just been seated, so they left. I wish they waited because it did clear up after about 30-40 minutes, but it was hard to predict on a Thursday at 7:30pm during a random downpour. I would encourage anyone to try The Burn, and to wait if needed. It's updated nicely, a bit cozy yet spacious when you're seated. Jess, our bartender, is also very welcoming and hospitable. I ordered a Gold Rush: ghost tequila, cointreau, pineapple, jalapeño & lime; I recall telling my friend, "this is exactly how I wish all my drinks tasted." I ordered the meatballs appetizer, and they got the haddock sandwich. The fries were excellent, and the meatballs were great. My friend loved their sandwich, fresh local haddock of course.
