Absolutely delicious! I had the lobster mixed with other seafood very fresh and amazing. I sat at the bar. The customer service was great, super friendly. The only thing that was a little hard was the parking lot because there was so many people in there on a weekday.

Great tap at the outside patio bar, friendly service and very good food. The paella was outstanding with a spicy saffron rissotto holding it down for shrimp, lobster, mussels, scallops, clams, chorizo in a tomato base. Smoky, briny, spicy, taste of the ocean throughout. A crispy Sonoma chardonnay on this perfect summer day helped it along. Service was perfectly snarky and loveable barback attentiveness, smiles and good Gloucester vibes all around. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Live acoustic tunes done adequately enough added some chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Visiting town and locals recommended this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was super busy at dinner time, so we knew it must be good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Didn't like that a lot of dishes were fried, but the food was good, drinks were good and the service was great! The French onion crock was good. However the Tuna Tower was amazing! I'd order that again in a heartbeat. Lazyman's lobsta was awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great little sports bar restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Causal atmosphere and lively![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wow! Such a great place and right off the highway. Plenty of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is fairly big with lots of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were at a table with a view and loved it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We ordered fish and chips and a lobster roll. Everything was perfect. The fish and chips portion was huge so obviously took a to-go box. The bartender went above and beyond to bring over the NA beer options and a chilled glass...plus he gave his feedback on them. It was excellent service and very unexpected. Our server did a fantastic job checking in on us and making sure we were all set. I recommend checking it out because it's worth it.

Saturday evening had an early dinner with my mama at Lobsta Land, I've heard great things and this is my first time here. Got here at 5:30 and was seated at a high top at the bar. Our service was good for how busy it was. Three times we had to wave our waitress over to get refills and one for a problem with our meal (she never checked on us when the food runner dropped it off). We decided to split the fisherman's platter and sub out coleslaw for rice pilaf. The platter was much more expensive compared to places in the area and even Boston. A high whopping $60! I will say, it was good. Very skimpy on the shrimp and scallops. We had three scallops and 4 shrimp, it was a lot of calamari. The food was good but not worth that price for what you get. Maybe I will try something different next time!

The company issued me a $35.00 refund that didn't cover the tip I left. I'll never go here again. No stars.

This is THE spot! The place can accommodate all party sizes. We went there with some friends and were surrounded by people on dates, families enjoying lunch together and also big group of friends. The energy is fun and relaxing. The staff is friendly and on top of it. They were busy and quick at rotating tables, in the most efficient way without ever rushing anyone. We loved everything we shared, the combo platter, the mussels, the ceasar salad and the seafood bouillabaisse! The seafood bouillabaisse was absolutely DELICIOUS! - even in hot summer weather. I cannot wait to have it again! Their fries were delicious and so were their coconut shrimps! The view, the vibe, the food. It hits all the spots. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Recommend it to everyone!

Ask the Community - Lobsta Land

When does lobsta land close for the season?

    2 Sunday of December ! ☺️

    Do they need reservations?

LobstaLand does take reservations though I think they might stop if they get to many. When we went, they had just stopped on reservations for the night but we were able to get in imediately anyway.

    Are they wheel chair accessible?

It would appear so but would call the restaurant to make sure!!

It got very busy but the staff really kept up and got good and drinks to everyone incredibly quick so props to them! Great prosecco and beer on happy hour. Great spicy remoulade on it and the fish was crispy and fresh. We also ordered the classic lil chippy and i really thought this was a great price for the quality you get. Great big portion and perfectly crisp. Fries are wonderful as well and we opted to do an extra old bay aioli added on which i recommend! There are no trendy menus, no upscale atmosphere, and no attempts to reinvent fish and chips. Honestly, that's part of its charm. I've been coming here for years, and I have to admit that I am probably the least adventurous customer they have. Every time I visit, I order the same thing: fish and chips and a cup of white clam chowder. When something works, why mess with it? The fish is always crispy without being overly greasy, despite what some reviews might lead you to believe. The portions are generous, and the fries have always reminded me a little of the fries served at Wright's Farm. I'm not sure exactly why, but every time I eat them, that's the comparison that comes to mind. The clam chowder is also very good. As a lifelong Rhode Islander, I'm firmly in the white chowder camp, and theirs is done right. It's flavorful, satisfying, and pairs perfectly with the fish and chips. The setup is simple. You order at the counter when you walk in, they give you your number, and you grab a seat in the dining room while you wait for your food. It's efficient, straightforward, and keeps things moving. The staff has always been friendly, and I've never had an issue with service. Another plus is the value. The prices are very reasonable, especially these days when it feels like every restaurant meal costs twice what it did a few years ago. You get plenty of food for your money, and I've never walked away feeling disappointed. Parking is easy thanks to the large lot, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when you're hungry and just want to get inside without circling the block looking for a spot. We usually stop in every few weeks, and that's probably the best endorsement I can give. If a restaurant keeps earning repeat visits year after year, they're doing something right. This isn't a destination for fine dining, and it isn't trying to be. It's a comfortable, reliable spot serving good fish and chips at fair prices with friendly people behind the counter. Sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for. Four stars.

When I arrived, around 3pm I was one of only 2 tables there. It's counter service and the teenagers taking my order were respectful but not overly kind. They didn't tell me I needed to wait for my order as they wouldn't call it out. But, I digress. The restaurant itself is small but clean. Dated in a cute way. You can tell they've been in business for a long time and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I had seen online that they had a scallop and shrimp plate but that wasn't offered today so I settled for shrimp and fish along with a cup of chowder. All this and a bottle of soda cost $40. Not an amazing price but I thought it was reasonable as a treat. My food came out quickly and I started with the seafood chowder. This chowder is amazing. Very creamy, decadent, and full of fish. I can not recommend it enough. The shrimp were also delicious. They were fried very well and moist. Not greasy at all. I recommend those as well. I have conflicting thoughts on the fish. On one hand I know that the English preparation is a heavy batter. I'm okay with that. But this batter was borderline soggy. No crisp to it whatsoever and the fish inside was completely lost to the breading. Which was honestly too bad because the fish itself was nice and flaky. Do I recommend Ye Olde Fish and Chips? Sure. I like supporting small business and I in they add a lot to the area. Would I get the fish again? No. But I will be first in line for the scallop and shrimp plate if it ever comes back to the menu!

I'd been coming here for at least 20 years, and in recent years it had been a favorite spot to eat outside when traveling with my dog. But now, we are not allowed to eat outside with a dog. Instead we had to order to-go and then walk down back to a 'dog area' which is a spot to the left of the building, below the parking area with one picnic table and some chairs in the woods. It was a beautiful sunny day, but we were getting eaten alive by no-seeums, which is not a nice experience when paying $100 for 1 meal with 6 scallops, 4 small pieces of fried fish, fries and slaw, an order of onion rings, a small clam chowder, and 2 beers. And $50 for a small lobster, an ear of corn, and an iced tea. I get that this is a tourist area, but $12 for a beer in a plastic cup and a $7.50 up charge for 6 scallops while being banished to a buggy spot that made eating very uncomfortable is a big no thank you for me. Crossing this place off my list, sadly. The upgrades and changes to this place are not a bonus at all. I'm sad that a place I always felt was friendly and welcoming is now overpriced and we all felt like we were being treated as second class citizens.
