    Reuben and fries

Wow! A hidden gem...but it won't stay that way for long! When you walk into a place and are immediately made to feel at home, where there are both locals and vacationers in the place and everyone is smiling and chatting, you know you've found something special. Don, the bartender, was terrific; the owners were there and were awesome, as well. Oh! The food! My husband ordered the Reuben; I got the weekly special flatbread, and they were both amazing. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't order more; everything looked and smelled delicious! Highly recommend, you definitely won't regret your visit here!

The service, ambiance, food is so good. They know how to spruce up Bar Food into a 5 star meal. Coldest beer on tap, nice people and a must try in Gloucester.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. Bathrooms are super clean. Corned beef sandwich and sweet potatoe fries were really good, good tavern food! Nice small atmosphere, also has patio seating. Minus one star as they didn't have a few beverages we asked for.

Incredible food, friendly staff, and great outdoor seating!! We stopped for lunch after a whale watching tour and were so happy we did.

I thought the best Reuben was on soft fresh baked brown bread but these guys have proven me wrong.

Even the coleslaw and tartar sauce were made with care. The servers hustle like crazy. They treat you like good friends. Some diners may have frowned on service. Those girls never stopped, and they smiled and laughed. (Who doesn't need that these days?) It's sea scallop season, so even those scallops are expensive I had to do it. The scallop dinner w/fries and onion strings was a bit over $35, but there were 14 huge, right off the boat succulent scallops. The burgers also looked great. Get on over there.

I was told by everyone for the Best Fried Clams go to the Choate Bridge Pub and they were right. The portions of clams was overwhelming sweet clams with a roll, butter and a salad for a great price worth the money. This is a local restaurant that's doesn't need notoriety from the past. A simple place to eat good quality food, the staff very friendly along with a great atmosphere. So I recommend Choate Bridge Pub find a place to park and enjoy.
