We visited for dinner on a Wednesday, and there was no wait for a table of 4. The special for the day was buy 5lb get 1lb of crawfish, and the current market price was $~9/lb. Our table ordered 1.5 dozen of their raw oysters, 6lbs of garlic butter crawfish, their fried shrimp platter, fried catfish platter, the gumbo, and their Cajun fries. Raw Oysters 5/5: the oysters were a good size, and were well cleaned. Crawfish 4/5: although it was good, I have had more flavorful crawfish at other restaurants. The price was comparable to others, and there was good mix or small and large ones. Cajun Fries 4/5: well seasoned and perfectly crispy, but was a rather small portion size. Gumbo 3/5: although I didn't try it, from where I was sitting, the rice was undercooked, which was surprising considering it came out halfway through our meal, and was the last item. The waitress my friend notified kindly offered to have the kitchen remake it, and offered us a container since the replacement came out as we were done with our meal. We eat lunch here almost once a week. This one is hard for me because I am not a seafood eater so I have to base it on the chicken. The fried tenders are awesome and a very good helping. The fries and hush puppies are all good as well. I really don't care for their grilled chicken, it is usually bland and leathery. The fried rice is good and everyone I go with loves the seafood and have not heard anyone complain. Service is usually good and their timing has improved. We come here bebecause it's close to the house. Service is terrible. We have to get napkins and silverware from tables nearby...and we're sitting atvthe bar. The waitress and other employees are playing board games or on their phones. The waitress staff is NEVER ATTENTIVE and you always have to practically beg to get assistance. Word of warning. SEAHOLIC Seafood & Bar is a discriminatory place. Because of a spat we had with them before, they allegedly got rid of happy hour. We went and other people were charged HH prices. But when we tabbed out, they charged us full price! Why? Because we called them out on it. And now we have been kicked out because we asked about it. Danny, the manager even told us that because of the previous spat, that we don't get HH prices and to f$$ck off. They pick and choose who they want to charge HH prices to. They have great drinks and an variety of menu items to choose from. We got crawfish, escargot, snow crab, wings, and fried catfish basket. The boiled seafood we tried both the garlic butter and citrus heat flavors - spicy. I likes both flavors but prefer the citrus heat flavor a bit more plus it also has plenty of garlic in it as well. For wings we ordered lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. We enjoyed both flavors a lot. They were generously seasoned and very delicious. Strawberry Margarita and Mexican Candy shooters here were also great. This is a spacious restaurant with both table and booth seating. Plenty of parking as well. The ambiance of this restaurant was nice. It wasn't bad or real great. Nothing notable. As far as the service, my waiter gave a great tip for the oysters and more then one worker was helpful. The oysters were definitely the best part of my meal but the reason my rating is low is because the main course lacked completely. The lobster was highly overcooked and rubbery. The burger was subpar, well-cooked though & the bacon was unnecessary in my opinion. If I would go back it would be strictly for those delicious oysters. They saved this review. read more

The food was phenomenal! Service was slow to start but our server did a great job. I got the boiled mussels with potatoes. I got the garlic butter with medium heat. Outstanding! I started with six chargrilled oysters. Melt in your mouth delicious. Wife wanted to try the grilled mushrooms. These stems were ginormous! They were a bit chewy but seasoned well. I can imagine what the caps look like. Too bad they don't serve those instead! For dessert, my wife is getting the bread pudding with ice cream. I might do the same. Definitely coming back! We got here about four o'clock and it was packed! And it's the Saturday before Mother's Day. I can't imagine what it'll be like tomorrow. Happy hour is from 3-6 Monday thru Friday.
