Great outdoor laid back feels. Crawfish peeled really good, not over or under cooked. But was lacking in flavor. The guy taking our order was rude and really didn't pay attention to us when we ordered. We had to keep going to get stuff because they didn't bring stuff out we had asked for and paid for.

How do I express how much i love this place?! Crawfish been good the last 6 times ive been (dont judge me haha!), boudin links good bbq'd taste, shrimp decent, corn amazing, and sausage links alright on the drier side. I must say i am all around super impressed with them and I go weekly so that tells you how I feel about them! I want to try the entire menu! Service is good!

Year after year after year... the best in Houston/Katy They cook em different than 99% of everyone else. Pretty sure they cook them in straight water, then season them afterwards Usually some tasty green olives and a few mushrooms thrown in for good measure

I am not a big fan of butter less or sauceless crawfish that isn't served in a bag BUT this place has changed that for us. Its become our crawfish favorite! Its the perfect BYOB place with a kids play area and delicious flavorful crawfish! Its usually pretty busy here but food comes out fast.

5lbs of crawfish gone before I could even take a pic.

Great place for outdoor dining and BYOB. There is a play area for the kids and their crawfish have a good flavor at a reasonable price. I look forward to my next visit. Dress comfortable to sit at picnic or family style tables.

3/5/2023: Calling all y'all crawfish lovers! This place is great!! Here's the breakdown: EASE: parking is great and ordering is a snap. Walk up service at a food trailer, but don't let that fool you or change your mind. I'm sometimes skeptical of food trucks/trailers. Glad I set that aside for today. PRICE: $60.00 for 6 pounds, corn, potatoes, sausage link, 2 hot dogs and basket of fries. So worth it! I've seen prices well over $10/pound without all the extras. That's just crazy! ATMOSPHERE: it's like someone's huge backyard and the party is on all day! Plenty of picnic tables, each dressed with their own paper towel roll, and very clean. Plenty of trash receptacles near by but not too close to your dining experience. Beautiful trees surround the property. Of course, today was one of "those best Houston days", so. It was super nice. TASTE: These bugs were the best I've had in a long time. Great spice and cooked perfectly! I understand each batch is different, so I sincerely hope you experience the same goodness we did. All very good! The bugs came with corn, potatoes, mushrooms and green olives! I've never had crawfish with olives. They were a nice color and taste add. I approve! :-) FAMILY/FRIEND FRIENDLY: bring your own beer or wine. No alcohol sold at this establishment. Bring chairs if you have a big group and you want to lounge instead of sitting at the picnic tables. There's a large sandpit for the kiddos and restrooms on-site. Great place to chill with a single friend or many. And yes, bring the pups too. They are family and welcome. SERVICE: I mention this last because places like this don't need too much service, BUT they do a great job and are very friendly! Much appreciated! I'm so happy we settled on this place today. We will return! Y'all have a great little honey hole there!! Don't forget dessert! There's also a sno-ball treat truck on the property. They have good sweets for kids and adults.

Located in Katy/Cypress area, parking was on sand and rocks. Pulled in on a Sunday, and it is a good truck. Walked straight up and ordered 4lbs of crawfish with one boudin link and half of pound of shrimp, gave me a number and I went to sit down. Notice they have a shed for me to sit under with one tv. They have a kiddy box for kids to play in and a restroom built. Crawfish came out pretty fast and hot! I dug into the crawfish and immediately notice they cook with mushrooms and olives. I have never seen this before. They were an okay size for the season. The potato had no seasoning, and the butter also did not come with seasoning. They didn't offer eggs, which I absolutely love. The boudin link was ok. The crawfish was ehhhhhhh. They did not have really any seasoning, it taste like it was just the crawfish juice at the bottom which had no distinct flavor other than crawfish juice. I don't think I favor this crawfish style with the extra fixings in there. It turned me off completely. It is BYOB fyi. The shrimp was already peel, which I thought was pretty odd. Also, they didn't have much taste to them. Not a fans of big n's but support their hustle! Swamp donkeys is by far the best crawfish I have ever had. Louisiana style to perfection! Hope this helps!

    Come get some!

My mom grew up in NOLA, and Big N's has had the BEST crawfish she's had outside of her home town. They flavor the crawfish with no hesitation: it's salty, spicy, and they even include mushrooms and olives. They always serve it hot. You get a variety of sizes of crawfish. If you'd like potatoes and corn, that's a dollar extra per pound. It's nice that you get to customize it, plus you're getting more crawfish for what you pay per pound! I have also tried the crawfish empanadas and boudin. I like both of them (my favorite was the empanadas out of the two; my dad's was the boudin). The empanadas are filled with crawfish étouffée and inside delicious fried pastry. The boudin is quite simple with not much spice or flavoring. They serve anything fried with their yummy, house-made aioli (tastes like Cane's sauce!) We've always experienced great customer service. The food is served out of a truck, but they will come bring it out to you wherever you're sitting. There are plenty of seating options with shade, whether you want to sit inside our outside of the tent. Always napkins nearby, cuz crawfish is messy!! And it's BYOB!

This has got to be the best crawfish in town. It is soooo tasty. They are a little small but that's expected early im the season. I love it here

This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

Same curved counter, same stainless, same red shirts - and the same man in the cap and beard shucking my oysters, one perfect shell at a time. This place isn't fancy. It's Texas honest. A grounded ship ringed in sun-bleached shells, loud with beer, laughter, and knives hitting the hinge. Folks pack in - oil hands, students, suits - because here, money doesn't decide taste. If you want the Gulf, you come. The oysters are what the Gulf does better than anyone will admit: big, briny, and unapologetic. Pacific and Australian oysters are refined - polite, even. Ours carry warm salt, mineral depth, and a little river memory. They don't whisper; they speak Texas. Menu says a dozen; you get thirteen. That's not a promotion. That's culture. The Michelada? Many places pour a decent one. I won't judge. But drop a fat Gulf oyster in the glass and the drink wears its crown - the way Houstonians know it should. Fried catfish here sets a bar most won't clear: cornmeal crisp, clean-sweet flesh, no mud, no funk. In this part of the country--Texas and our neighbors in Arkansas - we don't just eat catfish; we raise it right and fry it right. That's geography, craft, and pride. Frog legs snap at the joint and stay tender at heart - quiet Southern luxury. Gumbo is Texas gumbo - thicker, smokier, steady. Not Cajun, not Creole; ours. Skip it and your body will notice. Nineteen years ago I had my first Michelada here. Nineteen years later, it's still the best - and that same shucker in the cap is still running the line like time never learned his name. This isn't nostalgia. It's continuity. This isn't "seafood night." It's Houston - served raw, hot, and true. And for anyone wondering, yes - whoever you are, if you want the real thing, you'll end up here. - Dr. C Born elsewhere. Refined by Texas salt & smoke.

I didn't recall anything bad about the place, and given the rave reviews since then, I thought it was time to return. Based on reviews, we showed up early on a Friday evening (~5 pm). Even at that time, it was mostly full, but we were able to snag seats at the bar, which is first come first serve. We ordered the "regular" grilled oysters (5/5), which were anything but regular, as they were topped with peanuts and a really great flavor. I'd get these again. Fair warning, these take 20 minutes to come out, which I didn't mind, but I did not realize that they would not bring us anything else until after the oysters since these are considered an app. I thought they'd just bring things out as they were ready. This meant, we did not get our crawfish until we were already sitting there for an hour. About halfway into the wait for the crawfish (after the oysters), the fried rice (1/5) showed up, and I have to say, it was underwhelming. It came out room temperature, which to me is cold, and I thought this was just how they do it. Except 15 minutes later, the seats next to us got their fried rice, and it came out piping hot. You could still see the steam coming off of it. Besides being cold, I didn't think the fried rice was that good in terms of flavor. I also generally prefer the short grain rice, and this was more of a long grain. Once the crawfish showed up, we were well past an hour, so we dove right into it. Both the garlic butter and combo mix were great flavor - some of the best I've had in Houston. However.... it made me remember why we did not return. About 20% of the crawfish were TINY. And by tiny, I mean they were smaller than my pinky finger. Maybe I'm a crawfish snob, but at this time of the season, there should not be that many tiny crawfish. Maybe a few small ones, but not tiny. Crawfish flavor = 5+/5, crawfish quality = 2/5, crawfish cook = 3/5. Then I made the mistake of ordering a cluster of snow crab. That took another 30+ min to come out, and it was again room temperature. The service at the bar was fine (4/5), but the kitchen service (1/5) is not something I want to experience again, especially not for the crawfish quality/size. Yes, the flavor was amazing, but I'm not fighting for a table for lukewarm food and 30 min wait time for each dish. The pricing was some of the lowest I've seen ($8.99/lb crawfish), but I'd rather pay $1 more at other places for the quality.

I told her I bought all three, and she said I only paid for two, to which I replied, "then we didn't get a deal..." And she took the payment for the third photo and walked off. I *don't* respect that hustle. Also, someone needs to move the old doors that are leaning up against the wall by the restrooms. All Hot. Got home and got them gloves on that s$%t was so HOT (temperature and spice) I had time to find a movie and pray for my tummy bcus I was finna grub even if it burned a hole in my mouth lol. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! They all have their own unique flavor. The House was reallyyyyyyy good. They were kinda sweet and spicy to me. The Kitchen had the kitchen sink in them. It was all kinds of veggies cooked into the crawfish. The flavor was all throughout so the heads were delicious. The THAI BASIL was the ONE it had a unique taste that you don't expect when eating crawfish but it tf WORKS. Let's get into these eggs. They were just past ramen eggs. Dipped in the sauce at the bottom of them bags (eye roll in foodgasm heaven). Can't wait to order again.
