Dr Pepper oxtails, Mac and cheese, collard greens with yams. This is called THE SOUL FOOD BOX $30

This place is definitely 10/10 The customer service was excellent and was very knowledgeable of the menu items. It's outdoor scenery and they do have tables for you to sit at. My mom and I shared this and we still have a lot leftover. The food was delicious. The price is worth it because of the portions they give you.

Last night I visited Daddy Dunkin's BBQ... WOW level amazing food. Got the Katy Box: Sliced brisket, Pork ribs, Sausage, Potato salad, Beans, spicy coleslaw, pickles and Jalapenos. Also had them add on a side of the Mac&Cheese and the Chili, just so I could taste all the things. The brisket was tender, juicy and smoky with great flavor... The ribs were huge! So tasty. The sausage was crisp, great flavor and melt in your mouth cheese included in it. All the side were pretty spectacular in their rights as well, most especially the beans (so much meat mixed into them) and the chili (brisket and ox-tail meat made this insanely good). Even snagged some of the 7up cake for dessert and to enjoy with the wine tasting I got on the side. SO happy to have been recommended over here... total convert, even going to get with them to buy a whole smoked brisket for later in the holiday season.

We ordered the Katy Box and the Texas potato , unfortunately my daughter and I who shared the potato which had sausage ,pulled pork and Brisket ,got sick after eating it ,I could tell something was a little off from the taste of the pork ,the other two meats were just ok ,we drove a good ways to come try it , unfortunately it just didn't meet our expectations, the service was great though

Brett's Bbq shop was a mixed Experience at a Recognized BBQ joint. We visited a Texas Monthly Top…read more100 BBQ award winner, a spot that previously held a Top 50 ranking. The restaurant itself was quite inviting, with a clean and well-maintained indoor seating area and a convenient beer and cocktail bar right next door. The lean brisket had a solid salt and pepper bark with good flavor, but I found the meat itself to be a little chewy. The ribs were a bit inconsistent; some parts were flavorful, while others were a bit mushy and salty. The texture was uneven throughout. The sausage was a house-made, peppery link with a tight casing. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite offering. On a more positive note, the sides were a definite highlight. The corn casserole was very good, with a nice balance between the corn and the breading. The cilantro coleslaw was a refreshing change, a light vinegar slaw with a great cilantro spice. It was packed with fresh carrots, red peppers, and onions, making it a delicious and flavorful side. Overall, while there were some inconsistencies with the meat, the inviting atmosphere and excellent sides made for a decent experience.

According to her, and I did sample it, the rice cakes were chewy and sauce was flavorful and spicy. I thought it wasn't enough for 16$+ door dash fee, but she thought it was comparable to other places, but not as good as Mama Noodle who didn't offer door dash. We may go back and try their chicken since that's getting good reviews; however, the increased prices are a turn off. We took a star off for the wait and price.

That said, my go to order is the Soy Garlic and Honey Garlic Wings. They're crispy, juicy, not over sauced and cooked perfectly. I love the pickled radish though be forewarned if you're not used to them. They will stink but trust me. They taste better than they smell. One important note about Korean wings: since they're double-fried, the bones will break and splinter pretty easily so BE VERY CAREFUL about giving them to younger kids unmonitored. Other items I've tried and while good, not what I would drive here to get (especially with how expensive the wings are). Traditional Original: Reminds of me Hooters wings a little. A bit too plain for me and while they're good, the flavored wings are why I come here. Boneless wings - Tried a couple and while they're good, not worth the price. But we do get these for the younger kiddoes. Secret sauce wings: I'd skip these. Flavor isn't bad, but way over-sauced and the wings are borderline soggy. Needless to say, they don't have the same crisp the Soy Garlic and Honey Garlic wings have.

I ordered the pull pork sandwich and my bf got the brisket. Both were great and very fresh....and tender. The bake beans were not a fav fir us. Will def visit again!

I've been coming to Red River BBQ for years, so believe me when I say this with love... what in the…read morechildren's-menu nonsense is going on with these baked potatoes? I ordered a chopped beef brisket spud -- same thing I've ordered a hundred times -- and what arrived on my plate was a potato roughly the size of one and a half ATM cards. Sir, I am a grown man. I should not need a microscope to locate my dinner. If I'm paying $14-$15, the potato should at least be the size of my hand... not something that escaped the kids' meal tray. Did I not look hungry? Did I offend someone? Do I need to submit a formal request for an adult portion? If so, please forward the paperwork -- and the rest of the potato you still owe me. And listen, I get it: smaller potatoes mean less brisket needed to "cover" the top. Smart business move... not a great customer move. This is the second or third time I've received the toddler spud, so either y'all accidentally ordered a pallet of fun-size potatoes, or someone back there is trolling me specifically. Food Quality Update (Not the Good Kind) The brisket used to have excellent flavor. Today? Rubber band vibes. Bland. Chewy. The kind of meat that makes you question your life choices. I drowned it in sauce. Then drowned it again. Still tasted like disappointment. And let's talk music. Most BBQ joints play country, Texas classics -- something with smoke and soul. Red River, however, hit me with what sounded like Céline Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." Ma'am, that's not what I want playing while I mourn my tiny potato and rubberized brisket. The Affair... I won't say I've cheated on Red River... ...but I have visited Spring Creek BBQ a few times, and let's just say I left feeling valued, respected, and full. Their potatoes? Adult-sized. Their brisket? Juicy. Their peach cobbler with melting ice cream? I'm drooling writing this. Spring Creek reminds me what BBQ is supposed to taste like. Meanwhile Red River is over here serving Weight Watchers portions at luxury prices. Final Verdict Red River, I love you... but the quality has declined significantly over the years. Portions are shrinking, flavor is slipping, pricing is climbing, and Céline Dion is not helping. SOS. Fat Thor out.
