    Korean Fries
    Nick S.

I had known about this truck for a while, and I finally got the opportunity to try it. The concept is neat in that it offers fusion of a variety of cuisines like Korean, TexMex, Mediterranean, American, etc The staff were friendly and efficient. I was actually really impressed by the speed in which I received my Korean Fries The truck is clean and organized from the outside. The menu has pictures instead of just descriptions, so, you can see what you you're ordering. Menu can be found on the side of the truck or online Some tips: I would definitely recommend the Korean fries. They pack a punch of so many flavors. And as I mentioned above, they were prepared so quickly... like within 2 minutes. Also, this is a good truck, so, knowing it moves around, you can track it's current and future locations on their website Cheers!!

    Chicken tenders and fries

Received horrible service from the female taking our order. Of all places it was at a school event. $34 dollars for two chicken tenders w/ fries and two canned drinks.

They were set up at the exit of the event I attended so I had to try it. The donut bacon cheeseburger was pretty darn tasty. I had my doubts but I really liked it. The donut was crispy too which was unexpected and nice. The Korean pita was good too but nothing really unique to me. Servers were nice. And they got a buzzer so you can wander off and do other things while you wait (50 yards). Wish I had seen their check in offer for free fries.

Prices are very high at the food truck, and the cook was even high. $20 for a burger and fries with no drink!

The banchan really impressed me too. The kimchi had the perfect crunch and might be some of the best I've had. The fish cakes and scallions were also on point. I was impressed by the portion size, because each half could've been placed in a separate bowl, add more broth (shaved ice and a slice of Korean pear optional), and that's two portions in most places. Historically, these noodle dishes were a rare treat and a delicacy, as these noodles were very labor intensive and hard to make (although I'm sure they're mass produced now), and had to be served cold in the summer heat. Banchan was tasty too, including the kimchi which was early in the fermentation stage. The kimchi pancake was huge, definitely had to take this one to go, and came with an optional Korean-style spicy soy dipping sauce. I ordered the combo and went with the Bulgogi, which was tender and tasty, but didn't come sizzling so the pan it came in was more for display. Still, great good, fantastic value, and definitely the real deal. It's not as fancy as some of the more expensive neighborhoods of Houston (and a bit out of the way for me), but sometimes you just want some really tasty and unpretentious Korean comfort food.

They make their tofu in-house, and you can really taste the difference. The soup is rich, comforting, and flavorful without tasting overloaded with MSG. It's the kind of meal that just warms your soul. We also ordered the cheese tonkatsu, and my husband got the seolleongtang. We normally aren't fans of cheese tonkatsu--in fact, we didn't even realize it had cheese in it when we ordered it--but wow... it was actually so good. Definitely a pleasant surprise. My husband's seolleongtang was amazing too. The banchan was fresh and well-prepared, and every dish we had was delicious. The service was absolutely perfect. The ladies working there were incredibly kind and even brought my husband extra noodles for his soup without us asking. That small gesture really made our experience even more memorable. Thank you so much! There's a decent amount of parking, but dinner time gets pretty busy, so I'd recommend arriving early since it's not a very large restaurant. 10/10. This is definitely one of our favorite Korean restaurants in Houston, and we'll absolutely be back.

This spot is located in a small plaza next to a busy trampoline park, and inside, it's very clean and well maintained. Each table has a menu of the offerings WITH pictures (so you don't have to scour Yelp like I usually do for pictures....). The waitresses come by to help answer any questions if you have any. To be honest, I think the menu tablets are a bit overkill since they have a small enough menu to look though, but it is good for people who aren't familiar with Korean food or the establishment itself. What's nice is you can get many of the dishes with noodles or rice as your starch of choice. 10/10 Jjamppong - the broth is flavorful, seafood rich, and noodles perfectly bouncy. SOO good. I couldn't finish the whole bowl, so it's easily shareable. 7/10 Chicken Fried Rice. It's expensive for the amount of rice you get. Flavor is good, but there's not a lot of chicken. Would suggest an appetizer as well if you want to stay full. This location does not have unlimited pickled radishes like the Spring Branch location. All in all, I really liked the food - I'll only really come back here for the noodle soup, but that's enough for me since they specialize in both the jjamppong and jiajangmyeon.
