The burger was great, but the slutty fries absolutely stole the show for me! If you want a solid, halal burger but don't want to pay big bucks, this is the spot! Best 8 buck burger!! Takes a few minutes to prepare, but definitely worth it! I would double check with staff for dairy content of the sauce/toasted bun if that is important for you. Food: food was great! Burger was thick, juicy, and dripping as I went to town. I like to tell myself that it isn't a good burger unless I feel ugly eating it (hint: I did! You'll need the napkins). Potato bun was perfectly buttered and toasted, with a gentle toast on top as well. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection with crispy, caramelized edges. I'd honestly say this is a better burger than most other large American chains like Red Robin's and the likes. Slut sauce was reminiscent of thousand island dressing. The fries came seasoned in some barbecue seasoned salt. Perfectly salted, with a mild sweetness. But if you want 100% plain fries, you'll likely need to ask. Restaurant: The restaurant was pretty tidy. The lighting was pretty unique -- pink neon and industrial wire caged bulbs. There was variety in the seating arrangement: booths, tables, and high bar dining tables. Every booth had power outlets, and it seems there is a guest wifi network. The music is a bit too loud for me (pop/indiepop) to work here professionally like one would patron a coffee shop. I was able to check out BunSlut during their grand opening weekend and I am super excited that this place is finally in a store front location close to me. The inside was clean and trendy with enough space to share a table or two. I can see as more people find out about this spot, it may be hard to sit inside but the food came out pretty quick which will help with getting people in and out. I tried the single burger and an order of fries. The burger was very light and flavorful. I didn't feel super stuffed after I finished my meal but I was also somewhat full. While the burger tasted plain, the sauce took it up a notch. I ordered the plain fries and they weren't really nothing to special about them. All in all I will be back. read more

Bun Slut had ample time to review and prepare our order, yet several issues occurred.When the food arrived, we immediately noticed that one entire meal was missing. If you're working and look up BunSlut...with the word slut...you're lucky if you're company doesn't have blocked/censored searches. I think they could be potentially losing business clients, all in the name of having a trendy name and not sure how that will last long term. There spicy fries were good and unique compared to other things I have tasted. I don't think I would have enjoyed the plain fries though. I got the sluttyburger - again, the names, like they're funny weird, I get it, but my job will block searches about cats if I just put in pussycat...like G rated kitty stuff. Oddly, I thought the burger would need jalapenos, because the description didn't give the impression it was flavorful, but it was and the jalapenos werne't necessary. It's hard to say who the intended crowd was as it was still opening weekend. All types of folks came from business workers nearby wanting to check out a different restaurant, friends supporting, and people wanting to say they ate at a bunslut. Bunslut is very similar in style to dripped birria. The interior is dark with neon pink signs reading "Slutty AF" and other such bunslut related phrases. There is a kiosk to order on and if you order dine in the food will be taken to your table. The bathroom and tables weren't clean, the place seemed understaffed. When the food came, the serving sizes looked pretty small, like In N Out size. The burger only had pickles on it and American cheese, which isn't great for the price, considering that you can get a burger with all the fixings for a similar price at Burger Joint that will be much larger. It was a smash burger style patty that was extremely greasy rather than juicy. The cheese fries weren't great, the sauce tasted atrocious (too runny and thin) and I am sure there were no actual dairy products in the fries. The virgin fries weren't bad at all and they were the only item that I would consider getting again. The server also mixed up our order with another customers even though we ordered dine in and they ordered to go. There are better places to spend your money. This restaurant is inauthentic and food is basically minimum quality. The "slut" theme also felt a bit halfhearted, mostly only in the names of some of the fries and burgers and in the neon signs on the walls. Ok let's get into the food. Ordered from kiosk. Easy to understand only feedback add ons were pricy. Like for real no joke. My only add on was the beef bacon on the double cheeseburger and regular fries. Menu pretty straightforward burgers, shakes and fries. So when my food came the cashier/food runner delivered my tray and brought ketchup which was nice. However, the ball of hair that came with it was disgusting. Since it wasn't on the tray I went ahead and ate the food after a long prayer and left the ketchup on the table. As someone who has been in the industry food handling is important and the management and staff need a refresher asap. I won't go further as I am not being paid to consult, but if you need one I will get you all the way together in 1-2 weeks time. Taste.....burger had no seasoning yet fries were crispy and well seasoned. Cheese was barely melted on the burger and bacon was not cooked well. Honestly I'm surprised there are multiple locations.
