Philly Cheese steak and 5pc wings. Also, there were fries, but threw away when I made it home.. Food has zero flavor.

The food had no flavor. You had to add seasoning from the counter. The fries tasty like they were still frozen. The wings were supposed to be Garlic Parmesan, but they had no taste. McDonald's would have been a better bet.

The family gold wings were delicious! They had great flavor and weren't too spicy for my girls. The wings were fried naked and had a nice crisp. The crinkly fries were also crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend American Deli to others. The food was delicious and the service was good. However, I wouldn't get the chicken Philly again. It was just okay, and there are other dishes on the menu that I would much rather order.

First time coming here and once i walked in it felt like i had walked into a club lol the music was really loud and it was packed but that wasn't a problem for me at least. I ordered the 6 piece wing combo and even though the wings were quite small i couldn't finish them ! The fries were good and they sprinkle it with slap ya mama if u ask . The sauce for the wings was just ok hence the minus 1 star. I would def recommend this place for someone who's looking to eat good on a budget!

Best wings & peach fountain drink in the city! We have a location in my hometown in Jackson & this is all folks would talk about. Now I see why. Anytime I'm in the area I would stop here to eat. I usually get the wings & mix 2 sauces, with the fries and peach drink. Food is always hot and crispy, definitely eat it while it's hot. They sprinkle a little seasoning on the fries so I would ask for more or dip it in my wings sauce. But definitely my favorite place to go for wings.

If you are wondering...yes this is the same American Deli from Atlanta! So excited to see that someone decided to put a location right down the street from my job! IMO, I like their wings better than Wings Stop and better than Hooters (yes! I said it!) Just like the locations in Atlanta...expect the wings/sauces to taste just like they do in Atlanta. Expect customer service to be.......flirting with average. For those not familiar with American Deli, the name is VERY misleading. Do not expect a sandwich shop with healthy options. Expect a fast food spot with great wings, fries, burgers, colored sugary beverages...basically lots of calories from yummy fried food! . I usually order a 10 wing combo with half hot and half lemon pepper. The hot sauce - imagine hot sauce with seasoning mixed in; the lemon pepper sauce - imagine a wet (versus a dry rub) tangy lemon pepper sauce. They keep seasonings and ketchup at the counter to add to your fries before you leave. I also had peach drink. It was good! But, again...just sugary, peach flavored drink. The guy at the counter was completely unfriendly...which is consistent with the ADs in Atlanta. I actually tried to engage him in friendly conversation by saying, "smile". He replied with a straight face, "I don't smile". ‍ I don't have a photo to share. Why? I was too excited and ate my food before remembering. Yes, I will definitely be back and will do my best to exercise restraint and try not to go too often.

After eating dinner on Saturday elsewhere, my boyfriend and I decided to maximize on our eating during our short trip in Houston together and go eat more food. The line was a bit longer than we expected when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. We ordered one OG Burger, one OG Burger Combo, and the Blue Wave Lemonade. The combo meal comes with fries, which we shared. The fries were great. They were hot and crispy. The burger itself was good. I was satisfied with it and definitely felt full after eating everything, given I had eaten less than an hour beforehand. The parking lot is quite small, but we were able to snag a parking spot. The inside is very spacious. There are tables suited for large and small parties, too. It's clean and very lively inside.

Jollibee is still more popular than ever and these four stars are really for what I hope they'll stand to achieve, not what they've been as of late. :: Red Ribbon is of no more (#1) and now Jollibee stands practically alone in its own little corner of the plaza. Instead Baker's Son By Valerio (#2) across the parking lot has become the pseudo Filipino carb hotspot that is resonating well with the community. :: Things are more expensive than ever. A 10 piece is practically $25 and family meals (aka bucket treats) are anywhere from $39-53. In spite of being one of my most made-up words in review form, Foodflation deserves another mention because it absolutely applies here. :: They now have mac and cheese on the menu. It has the same consistency as Popeye's or KFC, which is really not good. it's salty, tastes artificial, and is paltry in portion, especially when considering the price. :: They are also slower than ever. Even when there isn't something happening at NRG, the wait has been as long as 45 minutes for group and I, and even longer for a large order. This is for both takeout and dining in. For drive-thru goers, one will be directed to an open parking spot where they'll eventually bring the food out. :: For folks needing points via the app, it can only be applied using a phone number. They have no ability to scan anything on the app itself. It's just a tinge backwards. The other Jollibee locations are better in terms of execution, but this just happens to be the only one inside the loop. It's been YEARS since I've visited a Jollibee, and it seems both the individual locations and the brand as a whole have made a lot of upgrades and changes for the better! The kiosk ordering system is a nice convenience, and (specific to the Houston restaurant) the establishment has been renovated for a more modern & minimalist look. Also worth mentioning: The restaurant was clean, and the crew was organized and efficient. Go, H-Town! Now, the food: I don't dislike the spaghetti, but it's still not my cup of tea... I still can't wrap my head or my tastebuds around the sweet & sugary sauce, and the addition of fatty hot dogs just don't do it for me. The adobo rice is overrated, in my option... a lot of garlic and salt, but missing the essence of adobo. I'll also pass on the biscuit next time (dry and didn't have much going on). However, I totally get why the fried chicken has become so viral! Super crispy, but not greasy. Great flavor & seasoning without being obnoxiously salty (think Popeye's cousin who went to college). And, thanks to TikTok, I enjoyed a chicken skin taco (skin stuffed with rice and drown it in brown gravy). Yummmmm! ChickenJoy is definitely where it's at.

Let me begin by saying the atmosphere of the store was best described as abandoned. No one at the front to greet and no patrons. There was no music or sound at all in the entire restaurant which was a little creepy but it was late so we figured it was close to close (they didn't close for five hours we later found out). When we got our food we were incredibly disappointed, one hot dog was missing key components and the elote was true crime to humanity. I genuinely don't know how you can be a business in Houston and not know how to make a elote. It had almost no Mayo on it and had Parmesan cheese....they also had some toppings listed as options (specifically the pickled red onions which were a main part of the brisket dog) which they were out of stock of. The attendant told us specifically "we don't have that at this location". The saving grace of the meal were the bottled beverages which were incredible, but also entirely not of the establishment and I don't want to credit them with another businesses hard earned rave review. Overall we are rarely disappointed by hot dogs, an item in and of itself which is hard to mess up. Now looking at other yelp reviews it seems we aren't the only ones who were expecting a little more. We won't make a repeat visit, but hopefully the business can attempt to fix some things for other patrons in the future.
