Great service and food came out quickly. Ordered a few items to share. Everything was good.

Nom Mi Street is where I always want to be!!! When I tell you there was a party in my mouth eating this food! Every Friday at my job we have food trucks, I usually don't stop but I'm glad I did! We started off with fantastic service, extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. They ran out of the Bahn Mi but these fries definitely didn't disappoint! The Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy, the sauce elevated it to another level and they surprised me with the crasins . The egg were yummy and I loved the sweet and sour sauce, I didn't even have to ask for it they already knew! Any time I see this truck I will be in line, and you should be too!!!

As luck would have it, we went to the Angleton Market Days today and there was Nom Mi Street food truck. YAY! I finally caught up with them. Had the Banh Mi (pork) and it was perfect. Going back tomorrow to try the Brussels and the fries.

DELICIOUS!!! I got the chance to try nom mi street when their truck was in cypress! The worker was super sweet and offering samples: pork and brussel sprouts. Both were really good but the brussel sprouts blew me away so I knew I needed to order more. I ended up getting the nom mi fried (loaded fries) with chicken and the brussel sprouts, and both were insanely good. I think these were the best loaded fries I've ever had and that says a lot because I loveeeeee fries. The sauce was so good, the fries were crispy, the chicken was a good size, and everything just tied together beautifully. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and it was in a really delicious sweet sauce. I miss their food already!!

I was so glad to see Nom Mi Street food truck again this year. I was attending a convention with a friend in downtown Houston, when we saw that the truck was stationed outside the center! They had a lot more menu items, but this one didn't offer freshly crafted tea or lemonades. I now realize that some food trucks from the same group, can differ on their menu selection. I loved their quesadillas with chicken and peanut sauce. My friend ordered their fried brussel sprouts and egg rolls. The prices were decent this time and the staff were patient with us. The atmosphere, well it can be chaotic depending on where Nom Mi Street serves. The food comes out really fast, but be sure to grab plastic utensils, you'll need them!

I tried Nom Mi Street at a neighborhood party and was delighted by the whole experience. I got there a little early so I got to chat with the operator/cooks before the massive line started and they explained the menu, we chatted a bit about their operation and where they go, and they seemed genuinely excited to delight people with their food! I didn't feel like a customer but as a friend coming to someone's house to eat (well of course I had to pay for my food though!). I just loved talking to some people truly passionate about the food, and the amount of people lining up to buy their food clearly showed how good their food was! Anyways I had the tofu Banh mi, viet tacos with pork, and Brussels sprouts, and my only regret in my order was not getting more items. It was already too much food for the small group I was feeding but holy smokes was it delicious. EVERY aspect of it had meticulous attention to detail- the sauce was spicy but not too spicy, not too much but enough to taste it in every bite, the pork was SO tender, tortillas were thin to not over power. The Banh Mi was delicious, I believe I liked it so much since it wasn't the type with liver (might be a controversial opinion), I think they used mayo instead. The jalapeño in it was VERY spicy, I actually had to drink some to tame it down which is rare for me! The way it was bundled was adorable so I just had to snap that photo. The Brussels sprouts reminded me of some I get at one of my favorite restaurants, but I didn't expect it when I ordered them. Perfectly crisped, not chewy or tough in the middle, sweet, zesty, salty, just absolutely perfect. I absolutely loved Nom Mi Street and would order their food again in a heartbeat

Recently tried this food truck and had a terrible experience. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and waited longer than my friends who ordered other items just to discover that the chicken in my quesadilla was raw. I sent a private message to inform Nom Mi Street on IG and never received a response. I likely would not have left a public review had I at least received some acknowledgment for their mishap. Disappointing experience all around.

Food Truck Friday in Cypress and we wanted to give some love to our visiting restaurant on wheels. Great Banh Mi sammies, VietMex fusion tacos in your choice of flour or corn tortilla, and loaded fries. Protein options include pork, beef, chicken, and tofu on the various menu options, and they also offer a salmon burger option.

Prices are a bit high compared to the banh mi shops I frequent, but I enjoyed my tofu sandwich even if it was almost ten dollars because I added an egg. The tofu was well seasoned with lemongrass, and the bread was crispy without being too hard. My dining mate had a pork quesadilla which he enjoyed but it looked a bit runny to me. I couldn't tell if it was due to the cheese that they use or the sauces they stuff in there. I think the pricing would be par for course when it is parked at a bar. The service was very friendly, and I should have tried some of their more adventurous concoctions like their hash brown melt. I just wanted to see if they got the basics down right which they do.

Nom Mi Fries w/ chicken and mango juice w/ pulp

Let's start off by saying I'm a French fries connoisseur! :) This is my second time having their food at the Japan Fest. For whatever reason, this year the line was MUCH longer. After 45 minutes in line with Nougat, I finally got the Nom Mi Fries w/ chicken and mango juice with pulp (only option). The mango juice was refreshing, but I didn't care for the pulp in the mango juice. Fries were bomb.com! The ratio of sauces/fries/meat was perfect for me. I like the fact that they used juicy dark meat chicken. One order is a meal in itself. The wait kinda sucked, but this was out of their control since since there was a lot of festival goers. Service was average. Someone takes your order and you pay. Food truck norm.

A really awesome food truck that sells Vietnamese eats for those on the run. While I've been fortunate enough to have bought food from Nom Mi twice, this review is about their visit to Butler's Courtyard in League City last night. I have a go-to item, and it's the Viet tacos. Anyone who swears by Korean BBQ-infused tacos will definitely become instant fans of this mashup between Vietnam and Mexico. They're tangy, filling, and are fairly cheap. Don't forget to sprinkle some Sriracha. The woman who took my order was really nice. I need to keep really good tabs on where Nom Mi will be in the near future. It's one of the best food trucks in Houston.

The famous pork kimchi quesadilla !!!

Tried Nom Mi for the first time at the First Saturday market in the Heights today and it HIT the spot! First and foremost, the service was incredible - the staff were so friendly and generous in offering us samples of everything we were curious about before making our choices. I settled on the pork kimchi quesadilla, which is apparently one of their infamous menu options. The quesadilla is HUGE - I wasn't expecting that big of a portion size, so it was definitely a pleasant surprise. The barbecued pork is perfection - I don't know what they put in the marinade, but it is pure sweet, savory, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Their special house sauce (some kind of sriracha Mayo maybe?) really pulled the whole shebang together. I'd be happy to stop by in the future whenever I next spot their truck!

Grilled fish tacos with sriracha sauce. Not much seasoning on the fish itself, but not bad overall.

The filling is placed in a pan and then a thin layer of batter made with tumeric and coconut milk yellow batter is poured on top. You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. Personally I wasn't a fan of the paste-y texture of the banh nam but that is a personal preference! Service is not the most hospitable but very quick. We were reseated after spotting a cockroach under our table. But even so I would come back to have this amazing food any day.

The service was good, the ambience is super casual but the menu was phenomenal. They had artichoke and salmon pho! I clearly love a good pho and I was all for it! I got the artichoke pho with chicken and it was a 10/10!!! I wish this spot was in Atlanta where I live. I would most definitely be a regular. The fried rice and green beans chicken was awesome too. It was a 10/10 full flavor bomb. recommend.

There is a mural of Vietnamese landscape and an aquarium of arwanas. We started with mango salad with grilled pork and papaya salad with shrimp. Both dishes came with sweet and sour dressing. Mango was sweet and grilled pork was yummy. Papaya salad was fresh and a bit more subtle. We also ordered the fresh spring rolls. The old Saigon rolls came with mango and pork. Always liked mangoes. The other was regular fresh spring rolls with shrimp. The rolls came out last after when we got our Pho. Would have enjoyed it more if it came after the salads. I ordered the combination Pho with all the ingredients (brisket, eye round, tendon, meatball and tripe)a. There is only one size. There was a lot of noodles for the size of the bowl. They were generous with the meat. Wish they would have more soup. The soup itself was ok. Thought it was a little bland compared to others. Service was quick. It didn't take long to receive our order. They offer reusable wooden chopsticks. Will plan to try the other dishes other than Pho like rice plates next time.

This is a higher end fine dining restaurant so you should expect the portion sizes and price to be pretty comparable to a lot of other finer dining restaurants. Overall the food's flavor was fantastic. I ordered the king salmon clay pot. I thought the salmon was so tasty! They added pepper and sauce to the salmon - It was tender and flavorful and paired nicely with white rice. The quail (not pictured below) also was super flavorful and was cooked so well it tasted like beef. The soup was also light and refreshing, similar to a west lake soup. It was thicker consistency and had cilantro and chucks of lobster. The drinks served were also super balanced. We ordered the mojito and the dragon fruit cocktail. The mojito was the right balance between minty and sweet with just a hint of alcohol flavor. For the dragon fruit cocktail, it was very fruity, on the sweeter side but not overpowering and was topped with egg whites to give it a little bit of frothiness. I will say, we are slightly underdressed to enter this establishment. Everything seemed so luxurious and many people were in formal business wear! Keep this in mind if you go! There is a parking deck right next to the location as well, both self parking and valet!
