I asked for mine to be double sauces but it didn't really feel like it was? The Cole slaw tasted really dry. Maybe we came on a bad day? The staff was alright. Typically there's a button on the table to get their attention but it doesn't look like it was working. I had to get up and get their attention. They also forgot our sides that came with the chicken combo. But they did check on us a lot and refilled our drinks consistently. The tables and chairs are the same as before. Parking is free and out front.

We got the whole chicken ($30) with two sides (it's hilarious that these are called sides, it's just a small thing of pickled radish and pre-made cole slaw). We picked the soy garlic and sweet and spicy flavors; they're a little bit sweet but decent flavors. The chicken was cooked well and tender and the batter was crispy. The restaurant was completely empty besides us and it doesn't feel very Korean anymore. Service was quite minimal but it was fine for a sit down meal. Now with more Korean options in town than when Hoodadak first opened, the flavors here doesn't quite stand out amongst the crowd anymore.

Robin was our server and she did great. The problem was the cooks in the kitchen. They may need some more training. Well, 2 of us ordered breakfast and 2 of us ordered dinner. The dinner portions both gave 2 thumbs up. 2 breakfast people were not as happy. First thing , plates came out to tables one at a time. Pet peeve of mine. It throws people dining experience off. Whoever cooked the breakfast one came out to greasy and the other came out almost after we were all done. She had asked for a scrambled egg on the side of her French toast and if you look at the photo it was a fried egg chopped up and the French toast was soggy. Only the kitchen to blame for that one. Now the impressive part, they acknowledged it right away and told us it would be taken off the bill, no worries and also served us a complementary dessert for the trouble. Now , that's how a situation should be handled. Hands on managers and making it right. I will give them that. They care about the customers. Everything that was brought out by our table looked very good and saw a couple things brought back to the line. We were sitting right beside the pick up area. It is a very family friendly restaurant and it was very busy. So I'm not going to bash this restaurant or review because I feel if they know- they will work to fix any future problems in the kitchen area. I can only review our situation with hopes that it helps with training. Your line managers did a great job at rectifying the situation.

According to her, and I did sample it, the rice cakes were chewy and sauce was flavorful and spicy. I thought it wasn't enough for 16$+ door dash fee, but she thought it was comparable to other places, but not as good as Mama Noodle who didn't offer door dash. We may go back and try their chicken since that's getting good reviews; however, the increased prices are a turn off. We took a star off for the wait and price.

That said, my go to order is the Soy Garlic and Honey Garlic Wings. They're crispy, juicy, not over sauced and cooked perfectly. I love the pickled radish though be forewarned if you're not used to them. They will stink but trust me. They taste better than they smell. One important note about Korean wings: since they're double-fried, the bones will break and splinter pretty easily so BE VERY CAREFUL about giving them to younger kids unmonitored. Other items I've tried and while good, not what I would drive here to get (especially with how expensive the wings are). Traditional Original: Reminds of me Hooters wings a little. A bit too plain for me and while they're good, the flavored wings are why I come here. Boneless wings - Tried a couple and while they're good, not worth the price. But we do get these for the younger kiddoes. Secret sauce wings: I'd skip these. Flavor isn't bad, but way over-sauced and the wings are borderline soggy. Needless to say, they don't have the same crisp the Soy Garlic and Honey Garlic wings have.
