Wing Snob review The chicken, regardless of form, was chewy and the wings especially had a peculiar texture as if they'd been fried in advance and then microwaved to order. The tenders had lots of chew to them, thanks in large part to the connective tissue running throughout. The side of jerk sauce was ice cold and tasted artificial, just plain weird. This place used to be good, but our last experience was extremely disappointing. We spent around $120 on food, and most of it tasted old, stale, cold, and like it had been sitting for a while. It was so bad that we only took one bite and lost our appetite. On top of that, we were missing a large portion of the order, including about half of the wings and all of the sauces we ordered. The timing also did not make sense. I placed the order and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I was also told the person picking it up could pay when she arrived. She got there within about 15 minutes, waited in line, and then still waited around 30 more minutes for what was supposed to be hot and fresh food. She drove straight home, and the food was still ice cold, hard, and incomplete. We brought the food back because the quality was unacceptable and were told we would receive a refund. The next day, we tried calling to follow up and no one answered, so we went in person and spoke with the owner. Instead of taking accountability or being professional, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like the issue was on us. This was not a situation where we picked the food up late or let it sit. The order was picked up within the time frame we were given, and after an even longer wait, the food still came out cold, stale, and missing items. Mistakes happen, but missing food, no sauces, poor quality, and then being treated disrespectfully after being promised a refund is unacceptable. She found the real chicken sandwich"OG Sando" after first trying the mini chicken and saying she would skip the mini. When we ordered several times it looked exactly like the picture. Look at the website and you'll agree it's amazing, It was one of the best chicken sandwiches around. My sister lives in Detroit where we discovered how good WingSnob is. Tonight, she said what is this, it's not my chicken sandwich. And it looks like a single chicken tender and a bunch of mayo. It used to be good and I used to order extra ones to take to work for lunch even. But not this. I took it back to ask and they just added another chicken strip to it and said how this is better.. I said I was coming back and it was still amazing! Service was very good, gentleman at the register was very knowledgeable in the menu and even helped me get the wings the way I wanted them. I had the new sauce, hot honey bbq with a hint of lemon pepper rub, and the others wet lemon pepper rub. Fries were regular, salt and pepper, but they have other seasoning options like Cajun as well and even the rub seasons you get on your wings is optional!!! ‍‍ Whole combo was very good for the price 17.99+tax. My husband went to pick up some food for us today. I got an og sando he got the Texan with no pickles. He comes home and my sandwich is the most dry and disappointing thing. It's supposed to have mayo and pickles on it and it had absolutely nothing but this little piece of chicken. Wing Snob catered my grand opening event and it was SPECTACULAR. D'Adrienne was a one woman show for about 200 people, which was insane to me but she was absolutely phenomenal. I placed a pickup order for myself and a friend on Saturday night for two orders of 10 wings and fries with 2 dipping sauces, which was almost $50, by the way, because bone-in wings are more expensive than boneless - which is smaller. When I got my order home, I noticed that in both mine and my friend's orders, Wing Snob had substituted several of the cheaper and smaller boneless wings in place of the more expensive bone-in wings - which themselves are nothing special - that I had ordered, did not give me the two dipping sauces I had ordered, and then stapled the bag closed. Luckily, I had decided to buy a third sauce while I was there, so I at least left with one sauce... but while I was choosing that sauce to buy, I asked the workers for their opinions on the best sauces, they didn't know the difference between the sauces, didn't know how they tasted, I asked what the Awesome Sauce was, they didn't know, and they couldn't recommend one because they had never tasted any of them... After I got home and opened the bag, I tried calling to complain about my order but couldn't talk to someone, because you cannot talk to a person, only an automated service that tells you to email them. So I emailed, and received a very cold reply with no name, no manager's response, no 'person'... just one line that said they had "looked at the video footage" and were only refunding me for the sauce... We ordered the Garlic Parmesan Wings, the X-mango Habanero, and I forget what the third flavor was. I really love garlic Parmesan, but there wasn't much to these. With a name like Wing Snob, expectations are high. The food does not disappoint I love that this location has a drive thru which is super convenient. Good vibe inside and staff is friendly. The fries are seasoned perfectly and the perfect amount of crisp. I've had the Hot AF and Jamaican Jerk because I like my food muy caliente. Both were mild in my opinion but I enjoyed the flavors. I don't like that you have to pay almost a dollar for a small side of ranch. This should be a part of your meal. My experience with Wing Stob has been absolutely horrible! I have order wings from them 2 weeks ago in a row and both times my order was over an hour late. I placed both orders online and was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived, and I had to wait over an hour. This past Tuesday March 28th, 2023, my order #216 was supposed to be ready by 7:15 PM. I arrived at 7:25 PM and I didn't receive my order until 8:26 PM. Meanwhile there was 5 customers that came in after me to place their orders and received their food before mines and mines was SUPPOSED to be ready at 7:15!
