Counter service - looks like a full bar set up. Got the tenders and waffles- tenders were good with medium spice level and tried one with spicy- really nice that you can tailor spice levels for individual tenders. For me the waffles were too sweet with a dusting of sugar on top of an already sweet waffle so that was a meh for me. The fries were good, very crispy and lasted throughout the meal. Got a strawberry milkshake was good-thick and sweet to cut through any heat.
Houston hot chick is a great place to go to located in la centerra especially if you're craving a chicken sandwich. The mild was alright but one thing that was a little lacking of flavor was the sauce. Other than that, the chicken was really good, well seasoned and breaded well. The bun was crispy and it didn't feel greasy after eating it. The service was very kind, and they often checked to see how we are doing. Inside, it's a great place for casual visits and quite spacious.
Best fast food hot chicken ever! The service was helpful and quick while providing high quality good sizes chicken tenders. Not only does it have heat but the ambiance was also just as stylish brining in amazing vibes with the great services!
Great food and a little better take on the mild to hot range for their chicken menu. Did the habanero heat level, had a good kick. I'm ready to go up a level. They go all the way to Carolina Reaper hot, don't think I'll ever get to that level plus you have to sign a waiver for that one AND their is one part of your body that does not build up a resistance to the heat so you will be saying "OWWY OWWY AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" about 2 hours later. Staff was great and location in LA Centerra Katy TX is perfect overlooking the green. Nice bare and AC to at least keep you cool while you get that great tasting chicken with a nice mouth burn for those who love very spicy.

Location is easy to find with plentiful parking in the shopping center. The service was great. You order cafeteria style and they'll call you up when it is ready. They also have a bar area which is nice. The food tasted great. I got a chicken sandwich meal and tenders. Spice level for hot was perfect for me.

I got the waffle milkshake (5 stars), fries, and honey butter tenders. Tenders were juicy BUT the honey butter lacks flavor unfortunately. It barely came through. My sister got lemon pepper and I wish I would've ordered that flavor instead. That being said, I'll be back anyways and will either order lemon pepper or mild. Place was clean as usual, music at a good volume, and service was quick and it was nice that the staff checks on us every now and then.

I got 3 chicken tenders and you can customize spicy levels, decided to try lift off for one of them. Booooooyyyy was it spicy but amazing. If you can tolerate good spicy food, you have to try them. Maybe will try the Houston level next time. Fries were ok, came with a sauce. They also served drinks aka full bar. Clean and tidy. It is $$$ for chicken, but better than many other chicken stores. Will be back!
The temperature isn't the only HOT thing in Houston!! Stopped in to pick up some tortilla soup to go! Spice level "Houston, we got a problem" makes you sweat, but I love it! The spicier, the better! It's the best $5 you'll ever spend. The location is bright, clean, with modern decor, and spacious. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and patient.
***Chicken Nuggets (level: mild) --- but nuggets are extremely well done and very tasty. The batter is very thin and Airy while holding lots of seasoning. It doesn't feel overly greasy at all either. ***Cilantro sauce --- this is a very noteworthy sauce here. The sauce is rich and cream by but not overbearing while the cilantro flavor is very pronounced and refreshes the palate. ***Fries - EXTREMELY crispy!!! This is honestly one of the best rides I've ever had. It's well seasoned and not overly salted at all. The crunch on every bite is amazing! It could not get any better. ***Sandwich (level: honey butter) --- honey butter was a bit lackluster in flavor and texture. Of note, the Whataburger honey butter sauce is much better. The staff here are extremely friendly. Elizabeth was very cheerful and helpful. This added to our pleasant experience and energy. Parking may be a bit tricky depending on what time of the day you go. May have to park further away and walk to the restaurant. read more
Thought this place was alright. The buffalo sauce was a bit one dimensional and all I could taste was vinegar. Wish the chicken retained a bit more of its crispiness. The Mac and cheese was a big disappointment. Way too watery for me and not very flavorful. The macaroni they used was very small too... I prefer bigger macaroni shapes for the texture. Service was very friendly though. Lots of seating inside and I was able to park on the street in front of the entrance. read more

Yes, yes, YES!! Every time it's amazing! I highly recommend the classic chicken sandwich with buffalo as the flavor sauce. The bun is perfect, the coleslaw adds a nice cool crunch, the pickles are crisp and delicious, the house sauce adds an extra layer of flavor, and the chicken that is moist and tender...so much yumminess! Have about 10 napkins on hand too! Besides the food, it has a nice vibe. Trendy bar scene or casual outside dining or even chill inside with friends- options! I finally made it to this place. It's been a long time coming and I'm happy to see what the hype was about. The establishment itself was very clean and welcoming. It was an easy menu to choose from with the ability to choose your own spice level. The French fries were on point and the sandwich hit the mark, no doubt. The cashier was great, explained everything very well ( my first time here ) and advised on some great lemonades which we tried and they were perfectly refreshing. I came here with my boyfriend and had the best experience! Customer service was outstanding, the good was incredible and probably makes my top spot for a list of best hot chicken places. My boyfriend ordered the second spicy chicken option (scorpion pepper) and he was given a mild spice chicken sandwich instead by mistake. Staff was very accommodating and ended up fixing his order and giving the right sandwich for free after he already had finished the mild spice sandwich. They really went over and beyond to make our first experience great. We will definitely be coming back! read more
First time at Houston Hot Chicken, it opened quite recently so I was excited to try. The place is open and fresh. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered and just wanted the sandwhich but paid/got the meal instead, don't think the person understood but that is okay. I got the mild sauce which was not spicy at all however it was very delicious. The sauce was buttery and honey like. The sandwhich was great, it was blump and large however some of the initial bites was just filled with bun and no chicken. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and the highlight of the whole meal had to be the sauce again. I could skip on the fries next time but I would come back and try their tenders and shakes. read more

I was skeptical until I saw the menu. This place is legit! I had the honey butter, and my mouth was super happy I didn't subject it to the punishment my husband did to his. He had the F around and find out flavor they call "Houston, we have a problem." Before one is permitted to order this diabolical chicken a waiver must be signed. My big fella can almost always handle the heat. Not this time. The flavor was so good he wanted more, but his body was very mad at him. The fries are so yummy, no sauce was needed! I'm telling y'all, LEGIT! Swing by and let this wonderful staff hook you up with some yummies that won't hurt unless you're adventurous in which case, they'll light you up! read more

Love this place! Great decor with the marble counter and the gorgeous painting, making it even cooler. The painter painted with bold colors which matched the restaurant theme. The food is great, my personal favorite is spicy chicken tenders, southwest salad, fries and tortillas soup. You definitely won't find an another place who can make such a juicy, savory and fresh chicken tenders, but it's better to eat it on site. My baby is obsessed with their fries and honey butter tenders. It's great that the chicken is free range and halal. The service is amazing and prompt. You can even try their signature lemonade before you order. Also tried their cocktail while enjoying the live music on central green. What a great weekend! read more

I was there for their Grand Opening in Katy. They actually gave away free chicken sandwiches and soda. This place is really nice and a good place to eat and socialize. All of the staff were really nice and helpful, even though it was packed. I got my order to go and regretted not eating there. The chicken was spot on, but the fries were just AMAZING! I loved the chicken, but can't get over how good the fries were. The prices were good and overall just a new place to put on your to visit locations. The service was great and the prices were doable, in Houston and surrounding areas there are a plethora of hot chicken restaurants and with hhc this was just okay. I feel as if the chicken could've been seasoned more , would def give it another shot though since they have plenty of other menu items read more
