I've come here several times and the reason I won't be giving it a 5 is because they serve coffee but for awhile they wouldn't open until 11am. However the staff is always super friendly , the pastries are super good, and the coffee is great. They also have a lot of outdoor seating area and they've had vendor events here so it's a nice place to hang out. I like the vibes, the food and the service.

While I've only visited Screwbean a handful of times, each time has been pleasantly enjoyable. Although I don't drink coffee anymore, I did have the opportunity to try Americano with lavender syrup that was housemade and it was delish!!!! They use coffee beans from a Phoenix based company I've enjoyed before, still so great. Outside of that I've visited for dinner and they now have local food truck (which is 100% vegan) Substance Diner. It's classic diner food and all made fresh to order, really yummy. As someone who doesn't consume alcohol, I love when places offer mocktails and Screwbean has cleverly crafted mocktails to enjoy. They also serve a lot of local snacks and the space is great for work to relax.

Great study spot in Tucson that is open until 10 pm! Has something for everyone. I had a mocktail and it was great! Loved getting work done here and reading!

The cutest space for working remotely! They have a great large patio up front with street parking. Inside there is plenty of seating and bar seating too. They have a great selection of local pastries from Cafe Francais! They have coffee, tea and drum roll -- BEER! I can't wait to come back in the evening and enjoy an ice cold beer after work!

Screwbean Brewing is going to be an awesome addition to the community, they're just running a soft opening this week with a limited coffee menu and I can't wait to see what this place becomes. After seeing the space before it was renovated, I was excited to see what was new and hoped they kept the best of the past. With vaulted wood ceilings, polished cement floors, and colorful tile behind the coffee bar it's a fun space to hang out or do some work. Their patio is shaded by beautiful mesquite trees, offering protection from the Tucson sun. When I walked in their team was super friendly and nice, coffee is high quality, and they filled my order super quickly. Highly reccomend Screwbean Brewing!

Matcha muchacha series! This may be my most favorite matcha to date. I got the basil lemonade matcha and not only was it beautiful it was so tasty as well! Highly recommend! The location is great too! Right by downtown Tucson. The service was quick and friendly as well! I will be back.

Pros: nice indoor/outdoor spaces; easy access for parking compared to other downtown places Cons: very limited coffee menu and they were out of some items when I went Overall seems like a quiet place to study or read during the day but I wouldn't return for the menu items

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to enjoy some drinks & patio weather! They have a nice menu of offerings (both coffee, brews, and specialty drinks) with something for everyone! There is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area/neighborhood. The barista/bartender was very friendly and helped me narrow down my options, and I landed on a mango sour to enjoy there and a latte to go! They have plenty of seating options inside and outside, and the chill vibe makes this a great spot to read/work or savor sips while catching up with a friend! The sour was really tasty and I love their adorable logo! I would definitely recommend this spot and will be back again to try more of their brews!

This was such a fun brewery to visit! They have nice shaded outdoor area as well as a nicely AC area inside. They offer just about everything to drink from coffee, beer, cider and wine to other fun things to try. I like that they have the Substance food truck their as it offers a great vegan selection of food to go along with your drinks. Customer service was top notch and an all-around great place to go to.

I really enjoyed the chill vibe of this place, and the staff were super friendly and helpful in ordering for the first time. I have to admit the best thing about this place was the food cart in the back. I truly plant-based vegan option of comfort food! I had the Rincon refresher and it was really refreshing! That drink came out to about six dollars. I highly recommend this place if you just wanna chill and get something to drink and have some yummy comfort food whether you're vegan or not.

Cool spot that's well designed for an almost 100 year old building. The beers are pretty good. I was suprised to hear they have lager capabilities due to the longer fermentation time and colder conditions on a 7 barrel brew system and fermenters. The service was friendly and fast. They're a new company so they don't have everything set up, but they're working to get there. They're partnering with a lot of cool food trucks. I ran into the folks from Black Market BBQ that came in to talk to the owner about setting up there. Got to see their brewery area and it's clean. They're following good storage practices with their barley. Cool to see they offer feminine hygiene products in their restrooms.

They had really great service and a cute atmosphere! They also have better chai than most places I've tried.

We needed a little more time to choose the right beer. My partner wanted a pilsner, but unfortunately they didn't have one available at the time, so we went with their famous Barrio Blonde. I've had Barrio Blonde on many occasions at other places, but this one tasted unusually bitter and a bit flat. It seemed like the beer may have gotten warm at some point and was later cooled again, affecting the flavor. We were hungry, so we ordered the patty melt. The burger was good, with a flavorful patty and perfectly toasted bread. The bathrooms were also very clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, service was friendly and attentive, but the beer quality this visit was disappointing.

The bartender was very busy but was friendly and working it behind the bar to get everyones orders in and out as fast as possible. I love the beer flight so I can try a little bit of everything. Great patio and inside is actually bigger than expected with lots of room in the back and there's a TV inside with board games, too. I tried the carne asada taco, burger with fries and nachos and they all were great. I especially loved how crispy the fries are and how the nacho chips stayed crunchy and never got soggy, plus the flavor was good. Nice little place to stop by for some drinks and food!

It seems a bit of an oversight to not have enough wings for a big night like that, especially since it was advertised as a special. I ended up ordering the guacamole and chips, and was disappointed when I received a tiny portion of guacamole which seemed ridiculous for $9. (I was not able to take a picture but I'm sure you can find one.) As soon as the game was over a DJ came out with a good set but it was way too loud considering he was two feet away and it was 8pm. We decided to leave after that.

I came for an event and immediately realized this is the kind of spot where every visit probably reveals something you missed the last time. The space is wildly eclectic in a way that feels intentional, not chaotic. You look up, you look around, you look again. There's a whole back area you wouldn't even know exists unless you wander, complete with its own seating and energy. Turns out they host yoga back there, plus a rotating lineup of events that actually feel community-driven instead of forced. Then there's the food situation. A Thai street food truck parked on site serving absolute flavor bombs. I had a curry tofu Thai taco--something I've never seen, let alone eaten--and it brought legit spice and depth. One of those "wait, why is this so good?" moments. Inside, the details keep stacking. A vending machine filled with mini purses, bath salts, and handmade artisan goods? Unhinged (affectionately). Swag everywhere. Walls that give you something new to look at every few seconds. And if that wasn't enough, they partner with Anello, which happens to be my favorite pizza in the city--so yes, that alone earns points. What really sealed it for me was how inclusive the menu is. A full non-alcoholic selection, vegan cookies and non-vegan options, so no one feels like an afterthought. Service was solid, friendly, and matched the laid-back but intentional vibe of the place. Honestly, I'm shocked it took me this long to make it to Crooked Tooth--but now that I have, I get it. This isn't just a brewery. It's a choose-your-own-adventure kind of space, and I'm already looking forward to the next chapter.
