They wouldn't return my calls and I wish I would have left it at that. When they did show up they didn't have the correct sized pins for my screens so they installed pins that were too large for my screens now when the wind blows my screens fall out. At $8 per pin to install x 4 pins per screen I'm out over a thousand dollars. My screens function worse than before they fixed them! read more

If I could give them -500 stars I absolutely would. They are unprofessional, DISHONEST and RUDE!!! DO NOT use these people. Maybe they have done good work for others but my experience was TERRIBLE and Katherine at the "business office" was condescending and couldn't have been more rude....when I asked her what the business office was vs. the regular office she said "self explanatory" in the most impolite way...I was simply asking a question trying to gather what that meant since they supposedly have multiple locations. Then as I'm trying to explain the situation (THE TRUTH OF THE SITUATION), she cut me off and said "now you listen" in the most condescending tone. After listening to her lecture and harass me instead of provide me with a solution/customer service and a chance to explain the situation, I told her off. The real story is that they came, made my screen the incorrect size and then brought it up to my apartment and it didn't fit. So they measured my window and said to come outside my apartment in 10 minutes when it would be done and then they JUST LEFT as they were confused about something...so their solution was to simply leave instead of problem solve. I have been waiting for this appointment for over a month. Instead of trying to help a customer, they just ditch a customer who is home on a Saturday evening waiting for them. No apology, no attempt to make it right, just a "no you listen"...who does that? Absolutely INSANE! BEWARE!!!! read more

Great services from hunter and Justine. They came in to our place yesterday on time, took off their shoes, and measured our windows and then went back down to their truck and made our screens. About 30 minutes later they showed up with the screens and fit them in right away. One needed adjustment but that took another 5-10 minutes. The bill is reasonable for custom made screens. I know if I preordered the screens it would have been cheaper but I know I would get the measurements wrong. I mean even they needed to adjust the screens a few times so I'm happy I called them. Excellent service! The scheduling team on the phone provided great detail and were helpful upfront. My "Screen Specialist" Don was right on time, friendly and knowledgeable. The re-screening process for my screen door was very quick and yet the quality looks fabulous. The door was removed and Don took it to his truck where he had all the right tools to install the new screen. He put the door back in place, adjusting it to the right spot and ensuring that it functioned well. I opted for their "Pet Screen" to hopefully prevent the new screen from being ripped. Super team! My cat had pushed the screen out of the frame in my sliding door. The lady who scheduled me suggested either regular screening with a 3' grate to prevent pets from going thru, or a full pet-proof screen. They brought both so I could see the choices in person. I chose the regular screen with the grate because the view thru the pet-proof screen is not very good, with the thick wire. Scott and Jeremy were friendly and professional...and they were done in 20 minutes! 25 if you include me choosing the screen and paying! They also adjusted the lock/latch on the sliding door, which often slips and I get locked out - they tightened it so I would not get locked out anymore. read more

Great service and terrific product! I had a damaged patio slider screen and four odd-sized crank-out windows whose screens were missing since I purchased the town home. From my initial contact with Screenman's telephone agent Nathalie through the work done by Jose and Rich, this was a great experience! Nathalie asked great questions and had me send photos of the small windows. She guided me as to my frame color choices (what we selected blends beautifully) and offered an upgrade to "view mesh" screen for my patio slider since it looks out onto my garden. Nothing high-pressure and I'm glad I upgraded. Jose and Rich called to say they were arriving a bit early and patiently waited until I could get home from work. After confirming the measurements (and helping me move a couple plants from the bathroom tub deck where two of the windows were) they produced and installed the screens amazingly fast with minimal disruption. They were here just under an hour! The screens look really good; Jose and Rich recommended a clip frame style which was different from what I had ordered on the phone - it looks better and was even more economical; that is true customer-centered service. It looks like Rich even cleaned the track for my patio slider screen. I highly recommend Screenman. I had a screen made yesterday (11/29/2016). From the time I was called to confirm Screenman's arrival, to the time the finished screen was installed, barely more than an hour elapsed. Because I wasn't in a rush, Screenman waited to schedule me until there were other jobs in the area, so I wouldn't have to pay for a home visit, or drive to another site. Though I'd carefully measured the damaged screen, they insisted on measuring the window, and when the screen was finished, on installing it. * There was no charge for this. The fabricators were friendly, and we had a pleasant conversation.. You rarely get "perfect" service such as this. How can I not recommend... Screenman? I haven't even been serviced by them. Know why? I called the 1-800 number, left a message. THREE DAYS LATER, called again, left a message. No callbacks. A week later... I go through their website, call the "Seattle" number and tell them I'd like a quote. FINALLY get through to someone. "Hi, I'd like service in Lynnwood" "Oh, we don't service there." "Ok, which branch/number do I need to call that does service it?" "None of them will service Lynnwood." "But it says so on your website." "Oh no, there's an asterisk that says we don't service there" ABSOLUTELY NO ASTERISK. I browse other pages, to find any/all asterisks anywhere. The *only* one I can find is: "Some areas may be subject to minimum job amount and routing parameters." No details on the minimum job amount OR the routing parameters. "It doesn't say that you don't service Lynnwood. It explicitly says that you do. It also says you service Mill Creek and Mountlake Terrace." "No we don't. Are you just trying to talk us into servicing you all the way up there?" "I am trying to tell you that you advertise that you service the area." Then she hangs up on me. read more

After scheduling an appointment three weeks out, the person supposed to be doing our installation yesterday cancelled BECAUSE HE COULDN'T FIND FREE PARKING. Had an appointment for 10:30, got a call pushing back to 11, then at 11:45 received a call that he couldn't find parking and his dispatchers told him to move along to the next appointment. I had called for screens for my condo right when summer was starting to get very hot- understandably had to wait a couple months. When screenman came out was very happy with my screens. The next morning I noticed a slice in one of my screens about an inch long. Wanted it replaced and called right then and left a voicemail. Never heard back. Called a couple more times. No response. To me that was pretty bad service. Make sure you inspect each screen carefully before he leaves. read more

We had a Mirage retractable screen door installed on our back door. This product was completely misrepresented to us in terms of being able to contain our cats, as well as its appearance from the outside on an older Queen Anne style home. We were told both would work perfectly. As it turns out, cats, or any other animals, can easily get out. You're much better off with a traditional screen door. As far as the 'looks' are concerned, the retractable door and tracks are cheap looking. Might fit in with a more modern home, but definitely not an older more traditional home. Big waste of $500. We have already removed it and replaced with a standard screen door. read more

I need two new window screens made and a Milgard distributor recommended this company. I went to their website, filled out the quote request form and received a quote via e-mail for $32/screen. This seemed reasonable so I asked them to call to schedule which they did right away. We set up the appointment and I clarified that it was $32 per screen. Nathalie said that is correct. Then, at the very end of setting up the appointment Nathalie tells me there is a $65 trip charge. There is absolutely nothing on their website that talks about a trip charge unless it's hidden somewhere. There is nothing on their quote form about a trip charge and there was nothing in the quote that they e-mailed me about a trip charge. Since they are a MOBILE ONLY company this is a deceitful practice. I do not do business with unethical companies and I want others to know how these people practice their business. read more

I called Screen man to replace a back slider screen that had been 3 times bent or mangled by my dopey, destructive dog. I asked for the pet proof screen, but admit I was skeptical. They came to my home, when they said they would be there. The young man was very friendly and polite. They built a screen custom fit to my door in their truck, installed and cleaned everything up. Three months later, the screen is holding strong against my still dopey, destructive dog. She has run into it multiple times! It slides beautifully and I love it! I would provide lower ratings if they were available. The point of windows is to see out of them, right? Not according to Screenman. We paid a premium for screens that didn't block views, only to have "supports" installed across the entire windows, thereby blocking the view. What's worse, the supports pierced the screens themselves, inviting in bugs, the very reason we had purchased the screens. And the supports were not supportive, but were actually jerryrigged screen siding. Needless to say, don't waste your time or money. When alerted to these issues, instead of doing the right thing, Screenman "looked into it." read more
