Went last Sunday. They screwed up our order and brought us the wrong food. Plus the food was only so-so. Overcooked and dry. We both had omelets. We'll probably go back in a few months with the hope that the rookie mistakes will have been corrected. read more

The potatoes are superior, a little crunch here and there on the outside, soft on the inside. Seasoned just perfectly. The veggie and turkey sausage egg white omelette was nicely fluffy -- a sometime problem with egg whites -- well-balanced and delicious. I liked the little green salad toward the side of the plate. It provided a tasty palate cleanser and beautified the plate. Sourdough toast came in two large, lightly toasted slices. Portion size left me with a lunch for today. For a restaurant with only three months experience, they did great. Outdoor seating was pleasant, too. read more

This breakfast and lunch spot has comfort foods, along with healthier choices, like avocado toast, and the kiddos can expect to be surprised as well. The place feels very modern and welcoming, and the owners (three brothers and their dad) are always around, either in the kitchen, in the front, or serving, to make sure guests are being treated like a part of the family. Food is not bad, just ok, but waitstaff is awful. They have zero clue about their food offerings. When I was ordering, the waiter kept saying, "is that all?" Like there wasn't enough. I asked him if it was enough and he kept shrugging his shoulders. I asked him for a side of sausage and he said it's only one link, so I asked for two. When the food came out, it was enormous and he brought Two plates of sausage links with each having four links. They did not offer to take them off the bill or even offer a to go box. This place needs to train their waitstaff and quick. I won't be back though, food wasn't good enough for me to put up with the incompetent waitstaff. read more

Used to be a "great" breakfast place .. not so much anymore. Despite very competitive prices for breakfast, chef seems to have switched from butter to cheap "oleo" since everything I ate had an "off" aftertaste of cheap oil ... my eggs, my pancakes, and even my sausage links. Our party of 4 was seated by a rude hostess who gave us 2 menus and said she would get more but when she didn't return promptly, I went to the front desk where there were plenty of menus and got 2 more. Our server had too many tables assigned to her and was naturally a little frazzled. We got our order in before several large groups with her guidance which was good. The kitchen messed up two of the four orders which were both corrected by another server helping out our "busy" server. Had to wait for coffee refills and she dripped coffee on the sweater on the back of my seat mates chair. The food was basically just okay. So long story short, really doubt we will be returning. read more

I had an amazing experience! Firstly, I love the decor of the restaurant! It's so nice and airy and pretty! The breakfast potatoes are delicious, the waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We were starving and went here around after 1PM today & they close at 2pm. We were starving not have eaten for hours and had an appointment to make at 2pm, we got seated right away, waiter came right away (don't remember his name but he was awesome)! We told him we were kind of in a hurry, we ordered a Denver Omelet and chocolate chip pancakes, came out quick and all delicious. If we are in the area again would for sure go back and spend a little more time there, very nice place! read more

Hadn't been since it was Eggshell Cafe (which I always enjoyed), buy had a great breakfast at this new spot. The service was great, everyone was so nice, and our food was good. I liked that there was a variety of options on the menu too (but they all seemed like standard things they would be able to do well). Very nice looking space too. read more

By far the worst food and service of all breakfast places - and there's a lot on the north shore. Our party of four got sat and ordered right away and there were plenty of servers but somehow we never got offered coffee or water refills. Took over 30 minutes for our meal to come. Three out of four orders were incorrect, including wrong ingredients and undercooked omelettes. Sent back and instead of remaking omelette with correct ingredients, kitchen simply put missing ingredient on top and served it again - not understanding it contained an ingredient which was not ordered or wanted. Another omelette was not fully cooked and cheese therefore was not melted just stuffed into omelette. We did call over manager who was not apologetic nor seemed interested in fixing our orders - we even told him they could scramble eggs instead of making into omelette so food wouldn't take another 30 minutes. One friend who's order was correct ate by herself. Two others had omelettes come 5 and 10 minutes later and again was not correct. Manager nor server returned to our table to ensure new plates were correct or if we needed anything (salt, water, coffee, toast that came with meal). Two of the four couldn't eat the undercooked and incorrect food but server only took one meal off the check. When we told server we would not pay for 2nd inedible meal, manager came over (finally), gave us corrected bill and basically asked us to leave the restaurant ("I will take the second one off and I bid you ladies a good Sunday" in a very rude tone). Even other servers rolled their eyes and grunted about the manager treating customers rudely. Needless to say we won't be going back nor recommending this horrible restaurant to anyone. read more

Service was slow and almost non-existent. We waited over 45 minutes for our order; we were told our ticket got "misplaced." The breakfast parfaits did not have the fruit requested and had to be provided after the food arrived. The Croque Madam was cold and the bechamel was a cold congealed mess that had a sour taste. It is understood they are new but kinks should have been ironed out before they opened their doors. We will not be returning. read more
