YUMM!! We stayed at La Quinta next door to the business center that houses The Leaf Cafe. We stumbled across the cafe when searching for a place to eat lunch on our first day here... and have come back every day for lunch since then! The food is so good. I HIGHLY recommend the Montpellier chicken sandwich! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the surroundings are perfect to sit and do a little remote business while you eat/wait. So good! We stopped here on our way back from the city for lunch and we're very surprised with the quality of the food. We ordered the special of the day which was a spicy salmon on a bed of lettuce with raspberry's, peaches, feta, avocado, pecans and carrots. The dressing was made fresh that morning. It was amazing! The portion size was very good. You walk up to the counter and order your food. They give you a number and you pick up your food when your number is called. This place is great! Their prices on the breakfast combos are a wonderful value and the food is high quality. Plus there is a calming water feature to sit by and relax. It's a hidden gem, located in an office building but if you go around to the back entrance, the cafe is the first thing you see. The Leaf Cafe was a wonderful surprise. We happened to be in the area and found their listing through Yelp. My husband had a southwestern style salad, and I had a panini style sandwich (I'm sorry I can't remember the names) but both were very good and my fries were delicious--super crispy and hot. The presentation and quality of the food was really a cut above. I don't usually do reviews but I really feel they deserve it. To be honest, we didn't expect much because it is located within an office building, and at the time we visited, there was a huge renovation going on right in front of the cafe, which has to make business difficult for them. However, they have a small but nice sitting area and if you are looking for lunch, it is well worth a stop. read more

I work in a 3 story office complex and The Leaf Cafe is on the 1st floor. I grab lunch here from time-to-time. They make everything to order and are a bit slow, serving one order at a time... and it's worth it! You can call in the morning with your order so it will be ready when you want it. But the food is worth it. Everything I've had is fresh and consistently great. One of my go-to dishes is their Cajun Chicken Salad. The salad is very fresh and served with delicious chicken. I wish they had honey mustard dressing but they have a decent variety. I typically go ranch. Their burgers are really good, and they dress them well. They have several sides you can opt for. Their fries are worth fighting over at the table and we love their onion rings. Great place for lunch. They serve breakfast but I've never tried them for that. read more

Open M-F until 2pm, Leaf Cafe is in an office complex at the Half Day Rd. exit on 94. It's a good place for a pop-in if you're nearby, for fresh food and friendly service. There's a little seating area here, but it's essentially in the lobby of a newer office complex (not glamorous). You can phone ahead and put your order in for specific time pickup, and the staff seemed to know a few regulars, which is nice. I'm glad I know this is in the area- skip the strip malls and head here for some fresher options. read more

Wow! This place is really great! I came across this place through Yelp when I was looking for options for lunch. I don't like the food that my company cafe has so I order here quite often and have my boyfriend pick it up for me. They are usually very friendly and have such a tasty yet healthy selection of food for such a reasonable cost. I would list my favorites but I just have too many. I really don't think you could go wrong with anything here; unless you don't like food and have no taste buds...just kidding...but not really. I really wish they would set up shop in my company building so I could eat here every day and not have to have my boyfriend drop it off for me all the time, haha. Driving from O'Hare to milwaukee, wanted a quick lunch, not fast food. Saw this place on yelp, had good reviews so i tried it. It is easy on / highway, which is great. It is actually located inside a corp office, but available to public. I got an excellent salmon salad & cup of soup for $12. Order at the counter, and only took about 5-7 minutes. I come here regularly on my lunches and the food is great. They have a regular menu with 3 other options which change daily. One of my favorites is their quesadilla which is thick with cheese, meat, tomato, and Mexican spices. While the food can take a couple minutes to come out, it's well worth the wait. read more

never had a bad meal here. i've been working a few buildings away for the past three months as a temporary arrangement. there's not a whole lot of things in the nearby area. so a few weeks in, i decided to give this place a try - best decision! the food is super tasty and the presentation is amazing even for take out. i have had a few salads (southwest is my fave) and sandwiches (that's a wrap, veggie, chicken caprese, smokey the bird). they post specials daily on their facebook page. seriously, everything is really good. i'm a little sad that i'll be moving back to my actual office tomorrow so this place won't be that accessible. if you work around the area, definitely give this place a try... you won't be disappointed! read more
