We've been going to Rise n Dine at least once a month, or more, since we "discovered" it. The service is great, the food is very good, the atmosphere is for families, and they have a great fireplace in the restaurant. They do have monthly specials, but I tend to be more traditional for brunch. This time, I had a Carnitas Hash with poached eggs and fresh fruit. It was very good but honestly, it could have used a little more salt and possibly some hot sauce. WARNING FOR ALL GUESTS! The owner records and posts videos on his You Tube channel. There's no notification that he does it. MyRestaurantPOV is the channel name. The food is mediocre. My husband and I dined here. We ordered a burger and waffles with eggs and side of bacon. The burger was uncooked, nearly raw. The blood soaked through the bun making a mushy, unappetizing presentation. My waffles were ok, they are standard waffles. I ordered my eggs over easy and they came out scrambled. The bacon wasn't cooked completely so fatty and greasy. I tried to catch our server's attention, but she wasn't anywhere to be seen until it was time for the check. We've tried to give this place several chances as I like to shop at Fresh Farms, but each time the meal has disappointed. Then to find out the owner is recording for his channel sealed the deal to never come back. There's too many delicious restaurants around the area to put up with mediocre food, high prices, rude ownership, and poor service. I had come here a few years ago before my daughter's ACT test. We came here for father's day. We did make a reservation. It was pretty packed. Service was quick. The menu is large. Food came really quickly for how busy they were. We like to make excuses for busy restaurants taking forever but this place proved you can still be timely. After all these years breakfast here still hits. The workers & restaurant here are warm and inviting, we try to go once a month on Saturday morning & always ask for Adriana. She is a genuine sweetheart, always has a smile on her face, & definitely mothers you & makes you feel like family. The food is hot & delicious I've had everything here for the last 15 years from the buttermilk pancakes to the skillets, you can't go wrong with any choice you make, but always get the pancakes. I have yet to eat better pancakes anywhere else. I can't speak for lunch, but breakfast or brunch this is an A plus. read more

This is the place! By far one of the best breakfast places I have ever been too. Great atmosphere, seated right away. Server was super nice and food came out quick! Rise n Dine was running a New Year's special that we wanted to take advantage of. For two days only, the pancake brunch was $20.24. We got ten pancakes, ten scrambled eggs, and ten sausages. It also came with ten syrups and ten butters. This offer was for carry out only. The food was yummy, and we now have food for five breakfasts. This was a great value. Ordering online was simple. Our family was in town visiting some relatives for the holiday and was looking for a quick and easy breakfast and found this spot down the road from our hotel. We spotted it easily with a huge parking lot which is always a plus when you live in Los Angeles. The menu selection was a good size and the food came out fast considering how packed it was on a weekend morning. I ordered the corn beef eggs and hash which also came with pancakes giving you the best of both worlds. The food was good and savory, pretty much what you would expect from a local breakfast diner spot and service was on point with my coffee constantly topped off. This is your standard brunch place with its casual, friendly ambiance, and the family friendly atmosphere. If you want a decent breakfast, it works. When I walked in I was energetically greeted by what seems like a manager. The "come right in" was a nice touch. The host was nice enough to seat me away from all of the windows. It was a little noisier in that area than I'd like. After being seated, I was immediately asked if I wanted coffee or anything to drink, which was delivered back to the table quicker than I had a chance to even look at the menu. *important tip: check into yelp as soon as you are seated! You may get a nice surprise... which I did. The cinnamon roll was a check in surprise for me when I finally got settled. It was worth it. I can only imagine a cinnamon roll French toast made with that would be nom nom nommy! I ordered the American biscuits. It was pretty good and a lot more food than I could eat. The biscuit was a buttery, fall apart delight. The sausage, eggs, cheese and side of sausage gravy were very good. The only downfall of the entire meal was the hash browns. Visiting family and this is one of their go to places. Great menu with many varied options for breakfast and lunch. Carnitas hash was delicious, I subbed grits for hash browns and ordered eggs softly poached and it was everything I'd hoped. The dish came with a biscuit, so I ordered a side of sausage gravy. It was very good. A good selection of benedicts, a couple came to the table, as did a skillet and a burger. All plates were cleaned completely. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I'll start by saying that my husband and I don't care for breakfast / brunch and even hate the whole concept of it. We're just not breakfast people. However, we were in Wheeling and had time to kill before an appt, so we stopped at Rise n Dine last Sunday. It was absolutely delicious! And we got breakfast food! It was about 11 am abut only had a 5 min wait only and they put us right by this beautiful fire. On a cold April morning - it was perfect! My husband got the Volcano Omelet - Skirt Steak, Jalapenos, Onions, Mushrooms, Mozzarella & Drizzled wi/ Sriracha. He loved it and thought it was extremely tasty. I got the Gyros Skilled w/ Tomato, Onion, Feta Cheese, Diced Potatoes and scrambled eggs. I loved it! I usually find that scrambled eggs out are so bland, you end up piling on something to make them taste good. Not here - the eggs were perfectly cooked and had lots of flavor. But - really the outstanding part was the gyro and feta combined. I would get this again and again. I really enjoyed Rise n Dine and would recommend it to others. read more

Seriously, I love this little breakfast/brunch nook. I took my family and my bf here for some yum yum in the tum tum and it was so good! We came around 1pm so it wasn't so busy. The ambiance was nice, wasn't super packed but wasn't empty either. My bf ordered a mimosa while I ordered a Tequila sunrise. Yoooo....for it being 1pm on a Sunday, I was feeling pretty buzzy and happy. Those drinks were tasty.....and strong! But we love every sip! My dad ended up ordering a skillet, my mom got an omelette while my bf got some biscuits and gravy. I ended up ordering the Lox Benedict and a side of bacon. Counter productive, I know. Haha! Well, the all of our food was super tasty! My boyfriend couldn't stop raving about his order. I had a little taste and the gravy was creamy with little pieces of ham and not so salty. The biscuits were warm, buttery and flaky....together they were *chefs kiss*. My dad loved his skillet as it was piled high with all of his favorites and my was content with her omelette. I think I get my egg love from her but I digress. My lox Benedict was good, I'll be honest...I'm not well versed in the world of Benedicts but for first timing one here, it was great! The capers wete salty but I was expecting that. The eggs were cooked well and were delectably runny which helped to make the lox and English muffin even tastier. Oh yeah! And we got a cinnamon bun for dessert which was so sugary, hot right out of the oven and so damn good. Our waiter, blame my poor mind I forgot his name, was also phenomenal. He kept right up with us and our orders and he was always there when we needed him. He was kind, fast and efficient! Considering everything, this place was awesome! The name of this restaurant says it all. It retains the warm, cozy décor (including fireplace) of its predecessor, Buona Sera, but the worn tabletops and nicked wood trim are showing their age. The menu offers a mind-boggling array of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. Would you believe 9 different kinds of French toast? If you have a reasonable request for something that doesn't appear on the menu (e.g. a grilled chicken sandwich), just ask, and chances are they'll prepare it for you. Portions are generous. The servers are always friendly and caring, and a manager is always present to greet customers and keep things rolling smoothly. I usually order pancakes or an omelet, but on this visit I ordered the crispy chicken salad. The fried chicken strips (prepared earlier) were dry, and the runny, bland ranch dressing was not as good as Hidden Valley's bottled product. Others in our party were quite pleased, though, with their omelets and sandwiches, so next time I'll stick with my usual. read more
