Came here on a random Saturday morning, but late for brunch. I've been wanting to come here as I've heard about it and seen it and driven by but never actually had an opportunity to try it. So finally came here with a friend and luckily we were seated immediately with no weight. They also have taken over part of the patio area and put tables out there as well so for a summer day or a good fall day this might be worth it, but you are looking into the road and the driveway area. The menu has something for everybody, which is great. They have a lot of the classics, but they also have some of their own unique offerings as well. The service was super super friendly and she was so nice. The food came out fairly quickly as well, which was great and super hot and the portions are very fair if not on the generous side. I would definitely come back here again. They serve up a solid breakfast with no complaints for me. The coffee could be a little bit thicker and darker. So glad that this place is so close to my home and easy to get to!!! read more

Second time here. Lots of seating available. The sweet potato fries and hash browns were a bit bland. The hash browns had almost no crisp and were more mushy. Everything else was great! There is a wide selection of food available. Our server was very attentive. The noise can be a bit much, due to the music and that they make smoothies near the seating area. read more

Ordered from Grade A for breakfast. Received the food and we ordered 2 orders of gluten free pancakes. When we got them, they were not marked as gluten free! This is a huge mistake! People can get very sick. Talked to manager and owner who were not helpful at all! They ended up crediting me for $2.18??? What? This is so not right. if The owner and manager can't make things safe to eat there.,. i wouldn't consider any of their food safe! You do not handle paying costumers like this. read more

This time I ordered the corned beef hash skillet. It was ok but nowhere near as good as Edgebrook Coffee corned beef hash. Met a colleague for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to see the interior updated since my last visit. It was clean, fresh and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating and we selected indoor. Service was excellent ! I had Tex Mex Salad- with some customization and the waitress confirmed it was accurate when it came out. The portion was good and I had leftovers. Today I was there for lunch and decided that the Cracked Egg Burger was the way to go. Fresh patty, excellent house sauce (with quite a zip!), crisp pickles, and a quality bun. Solid effort! They also make a killer chilllaquilles with a great salsa verde...my go-to for breakfast...yum! Other menu items served at other tables always looks on point. They pour a great cup of coffee...better than most! Bathrooms are clean and fresh visit after visit. Service is attentive and focused. Grade A Cafe has both classic breakfast options and lunch options on their menu (e.g. burgers, wraps, etc.). I opted to go with the corned beef hash which comes with two eggs, hash browns, and your choice of pancakes or toast. It was neither disappointing, nor exceptional. Good enough to be enjoyed without any major complaints. It seemed like others at my table who had been there before ordered sandwiches/burgers which they seemed quick to wolf down. Service was attentive and friendly. Our server did a good job making sure we always had coffee on our table and water filled up throughout our meal. Grade A Cafe is a more open-style bistro with a nice quiet breakfast diner ambiance to help ease you into your day. I also noticed the place seemed to get much busier the closer we got to lunch time. This is your average american breakfast place. There are a lot of different food and drink options so there's something for everyone. I came on a Saturday and was seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and overall nice. The food order ended up being 2 smoothies (one banana, one pomegranate), french toast, and the farm stand frittata. The smoothies were good since they use frozen yogurt. The french toast had plenty of berries however they forgot the mascarpone so I had to mention that. Flavor was fine. The quiche frittata had way too much cheese and I had requested to go easy on it but they did the complete opposite. It was still good but I would probably try something different next time. The pancakes were standard. All in all, the food was pretty regular. The ambiance is clean and minimalist so it's a pretty casual atmosphere. Solid option for breakfast if you're shopping at Randhurst. The prices are on average a little lower than other similar options in the area, but they don't compromise on portion size or quality. The menu is quite varied with everything from pancakes to waffles to omelets to skillets to sandwiches. The food is cooked pretty well here, fresh and hot. The flavors are solid, pretty similar to what you get at other similar restaurants -- maybe a bit less seasoned and less salty. Textures could be improved up on a little bit as there wasn't as much contrast on the crispy and fluffy items as I would've liked. With that said , for the price -- I don't have any complaints as it met all my brunch needs well. The dining room is also quite large and spacious with fast and friendly service. Decided to try a new breakfast place and saw the good reviews on this place so my husband and I stopped in. The place was empty which I can't really review on that considering it was a Tuesday morning. They had one server who didn't look happy to be there and wasn't the friendliest. I ordered gluten-free avocado toast and my husband ordered eggs Benedict. Both were just "meh." My bread must've been walked past a toaster because it was soft and soggy. The avocado had no flavor and the eggs were overcooked so I ended up ripping them off and the fruit that came with it was only 4 pieces. My husband said the same about his muffin that it was not toasted, the eggs were overcooked, and all of it had no flavor, including the potatoes that came with it. I could maybe understand the subpar food if the place were busy but we were only one of two tables in there. On top of that, we were overcharged for our meals but I wasn't going to argue over a few dollars, I just wanted to leave. So having said that, we will definitely not be back and will stick to our favorite breakfast place that is always consistently good. read more

Located in randhurst next to Mr. Kimchi. Came by for brunch with a friend. We were quickly seated and were the only table in the restaurant. Our food came out rather quickly. I ended up getting the corned beef skillet with my eggs scrambled. The skillet was super hot, but it was so salty I almost couldn't eat it. After adding some ketchup it broke up the saltiness a bit and wasn't too bad to eat. Once you're done eating they bring over the check for you and you go up to the counter to pay we didn't know it at the time so the staff kept staring at us and our waiter eventually took care of it. I wish they had just told us instead. Overall we had a good experience, and I would consider coming back when in the area. read more

We waited around 25 minutes or so and got seated and ordered right away, but it took about 40 minutes to prepare the simplest food to cook which was breakfast. Grease A Cafe is a new and familiar restaurant at the same time. I have been to this restaurant before when it was under a different name. After having a delightful conversation with the manager, I learned that the chef changed the name of the restaurant in order to cook more to his personal style. I could taste the difference. I had the French toast waffle, which intrigued me when I saw it on the menu. This is their Belgian waffle dipped in their French toast batter. This was light and fluffy with a great taste. I used to visit this particular location when it was Eggsperience. We used to really enjoy visiting that establishment. Looks like they basically repainted and sprayed everything for a fresh makeover. We arrived and sat down immediately. Service was good and our waitress checked on us several times. Food was passable but coffee was just a tad on the bland side of things. Eggs were OK. Hashbrowns were decent. But bacon seemed like it may have been sitting out for several hours. All in all I've had much worse, but I've also had much better. I think we're gonna take a break from this place. We were warned there were bees near the tables, but we only saw a couple and they didn't bother us at all. This place is a nice option for breakfast, brunch or lunch! We also ordered the Mediterranean skillet and the steak skillet. It had too many potatoes but it was over all good. Service is great; our waitress was cheerful and attentive. The restaurant has a clean airy athletic look with lots of sun light coming in which adds the the ambiance. The look is exactly what I look for in a breakfast/ brunch restaurant. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband and I randomly discovered this restaurant was 30 seconds from our house about a month ago. We've ordered there the last 5 Sundays in a row. They now know us. Last week we had a small issue with our order (the first). They remade our in entire order without question. This week, when we ordered, they made sure my eggs were made exactly how I like them and went over the order with us before we left to make sure there were no problems before we even left the restaurants. And all this happened with a line basically out the door they were so busy. I could rave about how good this food is. It is literally one of the best brunches I've ever had - warm, fresh, made expertly. But the customer service is something to rave even more about. I don't like to get out of bed on Sunday mornings, so I don't know if we will pop in soon for a meal or continue to order takeout, but either way, run don't walk to this place. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious brunch here last week. After a busy morning, it was so nice to walk into a welcoming restaurant with lovely music streaming. My Greek-style frittata was wonderful! And my husband enjoyed his Corned Beef and eggs!! The sourdough toast and wheat toast were so good, and the hashed browns were light, fluffy, and not drenched in oil...just perfect! And our Acai and Healthy Green smoothies were yummy!! Found this place for breakfast on Monday. I was going for a medical procedure in the morning, followed by another procedure. I needed to fast the night before , so I wanted a nice breakfast. So it's in Randhurst mall , you just drive in a circle and you will find it. The mall is quite sad , so many empty store fronts. Now about the food , I ordered a mushroom , spinach skillet . It was very good and filling , coffee was excellent and strong. I also decided to treat myself to a smoothie. Great idea , I had the mango with strawberry and I believe pineapple. Omg ! It was so good , I would honestly go back for that alone . Not crowded for a Monday morning, however they did have a table of 17 lovely ladies chatting it up over some eggs .
