I ordered their smoked salmon Benedict, which I think they only serve during certain times of year. I'm very pleased with the food. The salmon had a pleasant, smokey scent and was quite delicate. Arugula gave the perfectly cooked poached eggs a pleasant, bitter taste. Their French toast cinnamon roll was phenomenal.

Food were great, looks good and taste even better. We've had Country Fried Steak, the works skillet, Crab Benny and much more. With freshly squeezed orange juice and mimosas. Service was amazing, Patrick and the others were so great, attentive and accommodating. We appreciate you all! Ambience was chic, clean and modern.

Came in for the half sandwich and half salad. Ingredients were fresh and the service was amazing.

Checked out Jelly Cafe the other weekend. Upon entering, the place was packed, but I was solo and they did have some tables available right away. This place is super popular on the weekends and there were a lot of large groups including a little league team and a family with some very unhappy children. This made for a loud atmosphere, but the servers did their best to keep everything under control. Although this wouldn't be my preference, the overall experience was still good. Luckily, the family with the screaming kids left shortly after I arrived and the little league team had adults supervising who reminded them to use inside voices. Onto the food. The steak and eggs dish was reasonably priced ($18) and came with potatoes and french toast. The server warned me that the steak was a thinner skirt steak and probably wouldn't be medium rare. She was correct, but it was still well flavored and tender overall. The eggs were really tasty. The yolks were delish, and I'm not usually a yolk person. The french toast was also tasty and well seasoned, just the right combo of creamy and crisp. The potatoes looked like they would be bland, but they actually had a ton of flavor. The unsweetened iced tea was great too, nice and strong. Despite the rush, servers checked in frequently and were very helpful. I would definitely return in the future.

Right off the bat it has nice interior. Very bright, lots of wood and flowers. And a huge jelly sign at the back. Service was good. Woman was very kind and reassuring to getting our dishes delivered to us asap. Asked me many questions and made sure we were okay. Their menu is very cheap, and they have many good options so it was difficult to choose from. The servings were pretty small for the steaks. Probably explains why their prices are so low. The food was alright. I would come back once and a while but it doesn't beat my favorite breakfast place. It is kind of small. But their food isn't bad. To be honest, I would reccomend coming here. Their prices are cheap, and the food isn't bad.

I really enjoyed Jelly Cafe! Asked the waiter to pick between pancakes and French toast and ended up French toast. Was great. Also had a side of Theo corned beef hash. Small side but hit the spot. Service was friendly and attentive, invited me to stay, take calls and keep the coffee flowing. Had a comfortable booth and was pretty busy for a Thursday morning. Would go back for sure

Can't believe the last time I reviewed this place was over 3 years ago!! Jelly Cafe still does, in fact, rate 5/5 stars. I can never get enough of this place. Their breakfast and lunch dishes are always so yummy and never disappoint. It's so hard to pinpoint what's particularly exceptional here because I've never had a meal I didn't like at Jelly Cafe. I personally love the hearty havarti skillet and their almond berry French toast. All their paninis are a hit, too. Come here for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! This place is the cutest and is my favorite breakfast/lunch place in the area with the best service.

I initially thought of rating Jelly Cafe with 1 star due to its food, but I decided to give it 3 due to its service. We had a really attentive, kind, and considerate waitress. She checked on us frequently and repeatedly, and while it was a busy and chaotic morning, we never felt rushed. However, the food is average at best. I was extremely disappointed given its lack of flavor. I've never had more bland food in my lifetime. We ordered the classic eggs Benedict and a spinach and feta cheese omelette, all of which tasted like air. The only decent thing was the pancakes. Next time I'm craving classic breakfast meals, I'll ditch this place and just head on out to egg harbor

I had a good breakfast at Jelly Cafe in Mt Prospect, IL. The service and atmosphere was good. After I placed my order, the food was ready fairly quickly. I enjoyed the saltiness of the corned beef mixed with the over easy eggs. The seasoned potatoes were also good and made the breakfast complete. My pancakes were flavorful and somewhat dense. Nothing was spectacular about this breakfast, but everything was solid.

    Outside signage...this is the place!

I'd say the finest work of art here are the prepped skewers, waiting to be thrown on their charcoal grill. My gaze was fixed on the meat display as if I was Cookie Monster at Crumbl. I composed myself and took a seat. They have great hot and cold appetizers. They have breakfast! Check out their menu, I've included a pic. Lahmacun is a crunchy brick oven flatbread with ground meat. It feels so light, airy, and crunchy, you could eat the whole thing and later say "..um, I ate the whole thing". We ordered a few King Chef's mixed grill platters. It is a medley of filet morsels, chicken, lamb chops, shawarma, shish kebab, and many other things, along with bulgar and fries. Why are their fries so good? Okay, so I know we're just talking about lemonade, but their house made lemonade is so good. We also loved their tea. We went way overboard on desserts. We just kept pointing at sharable items like John Travolta to the Bee Gees. All of the desserts were delicious. For some reason, the simplest of them, rice pudding, won the dessert battle that day. They have plenty of intriguing items that will lure me back, and I'm looking forward to it!

Upon my first visit on a Thursday for lunch, the waitress Nur provided excellent service to our table. She was patient, pleasant, and provided answers to our many questions. Just loved her service with a smile and uplifting energy. My friends and I ate hard and everyone enjoyed their food. I tried the lentil soup which was wonderful and I had the mushroom guvec with rice on the side that was delicious. We were served tea as an after dinner refresher which was nice. We noticed the bakery on the way out and they had so many treats ready to be ordered and taken home. The second visit was terrible. I came for lunch on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. The lahmacon is offered as a lunch special and I asked if I could have the cheesemacon for the special. It's the same version with just cheese and no meat. My waiter Jamal straight told me no. I found that very odd so I inquired further because they are the same price on the menu and it's without meat. The answer still didn't change. I simply had a few more questions about other menu items and Jamal seemed agitated by then. He was not even trying to be nice. I ordered two entrees. I paid full price for the cheesemacon and had a pide with kashkaval cheese. Jamal brought my food and NEVER came back to my table. I watched him provide service to all the other tables during that time. I was fine and didn't need anything, but I didn't deserve to be treated that way for being pleasantly inquisitive. I really felt bothered by this because out of all my years of eating out, I never felt that a server treat me poorly personally for being myself. I've had bad service before just because the service is bad overall and that is different. I like the food so I reluctantly returned for a third time and had breakfast. Service was standard and the food was good. My mushroom omelette was fine. The traditional french toast was solid. This review should be one star but it is four without Jamal.
