We have been dining here for many years. There were a few weeks earlier this year, around April or May, where the food quality was not as good as it had been but all is good now. We later learned that ownership was in transition at that time. Maybe a coincidence. In any case, if you haven't been there in awhile, give them another try. We don't like change as a rule, but are very pleased now. The menu is about the same. The soups are still good. The fries are better than before. The quality of the meat is much improved. The Avocado Toast comes with a large serving of spring mix, tomatoes and cucumbers with a raspberry dressing that was to die for. The service was above and beyond anything we've recently experienced. Everyone seemed to love their jobs and genuinely happy to have us there. Our waitress was so welcoming and friendly. My husband and I went to Golden Brunch on a Sunday morning. When we got to our table the water pitcher from the previous diners was still on the table and stayed there for the entire meal. We ordered the Bavarian French toast and the sausage links and eggs for breakfast. The French toast was made with very standard ingrediants. The chocolate chips were literally thrown on the pancakes without any effort put into it. If a little more care and attention had been paid this could have been a great meal. My husband got the Biscuits and Gravy Combo which came with (2) biscuits, (3) eggs, and (2) sausage links. The gravy is house-made and had good flavor. I got the Bacon & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich which came on a Ciabatta roll and served with hashbrowns. The sandwich flavor was extra cheesy, fresh, but could have used more bacon. The bacon was also not cooked as requested unfortunately. The pricing was fair and portions weren't overly large like other spots in the area. Service was good but fast! The booths have glass dividers. They play light rock music and it is loud enough to carry on a conversation without hearing other nearby conversations. This place is absolutely amazing. When you walk in you are greeted by the owner or manager with a warm smile and given a voice of seats. The server immediately stopped by and told us the Busser would be by directly with water and took our drink order. The Busser then shows up with water and double checks to ensure we've got a drink order in. Food came out quickly and with all the special instructions done right. Food was excellent. A regular came in and sat at the next table and during the course of our meal the Busser, the manager and another server came by to ask about his wife who had apparently recently had surgery.
