1 Star Very disappointing experience, especially for a Sunday morning. We went around 9:00 AM, and the restaurant wasn't busy at all, so there really wasn't a reason for the service to be this slow and inattentive. It took about 5-10 minutes for the server to come to our table, and he never introduced himself. He asked what we wanted to drink, and we ordered coffee, but he completely forgot about it. After waiting another 20 minutes, he still hadn't come back to take our food order, so we had to call him over ourselves to finally place our order. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. We also asked him for napkins, which he forgot about as well. We eventually had to ask the hostess for napkins ourselves. Meanwhile, the server was in the bar area talking instead of checking on his tables. Overall, this was some of the worst service we've experienced at a restaurant. The combination of the long waits, forgotten requests, and cold food made for a very disappointing Sunday morning. Considering how early we arrived and how empty the restaurant was, the service was especially frustrating. Definitely not an experience we'd want to repeat. read more

Came in on a Monday morning to have brunch with my parents. They had a cinnamon apple roll special and totally grabbed it for the table. It wasn't too sweet and the apples were warm and crisp. My parents and I ordered omelettes- mine had avocado, cheese , and chicken. Good, solid omelette. Our server was very nice and attentive, didn't hover much- which is appreciated . It was seasoned perfectly -- good flavor, but not spicy. It came with a choice of sides, and I opted for chicken noodle soup. The soup was hearty and had actually had a bit of spice to it. Extensive menu with something for everyone: omelette, benedicts, crepes, lox, sandwiches, salads, and more! There's also lots of espresso and drink options, including alcoholic brunch beverages. Le Peep used to be our go to place on Sundays. We always sat outside and had pleasant experiences. A month or so ago we stopped in, were seated, and just waited. After the table who was seated after us was greeted two servers walked right past us. We got up and left. Today we decided to give them another try. Service was slow. My eggs were not cooked correctly and were barely warm. I tried to reach out to the owner via messenger the first time because I like to support local and not say negative things about places. Great atmosphere, especially if the weather allows you to dine outside (recommend the back patio vs. sidewalk to avoid traffic noise). We had reservations and were seated right away, but no waiter/waitress came to our table until someone at our table got up and walked to talked to the hostess. The hostess said she didn't know who had our table... ok... so we talked to the owner that was handling coffee and drinks. He said "someone will be with you soon" but made no effort to remedy the situation... another 5 minutes and finally someone steps toward us. At this point, it's been 30min since we were seated. 2. We order. Kids food comes out first. One persons plate never arrived. The waitress didn't check in with us either. Everyone else at our table finishes eating and once again... we walk to the hostess and ask if she saw our waitress because one of us is missing their food. 3. Waitress comes, checks in. Goes to the kitchen. Comes back 5 min later, drops the plate and quickly disappears. We didn't get a chance to tell her the food contained a vegetable that was very specifically asked not to be included due to allergies.... Another 10 min pass before she walks by our table and we had to yell her name really loud so she pays us attention. 4. Another 5 min and the correct food gets delivered. Just a few min later the waitress comes by with the check while someone was still eating. She says a quick sorry for the missing food and disappears. Not sure we'll be coming back.
