Yet another place recommended by my cousin while I was down there. Mainly for the view of all the boats by the water. It was a total vibe, we were seated outside where we got nice photos with the boats in the back. The staff were all super nice, my friend and I got the crab benidicts and we were so impressed. Usually when we get crab bennys from other places they skimp out on the crab. I'm being somewhat harsh on part of my review because I will not be made the fool. Today is a beautiful day. Outside dining would be a real treat. Upon checking in at the reception area, I was advised that our status would be sent to my mobile phone. We then decided that the 1st available would be fine, foregoing our 1st option of outside dining overlooking the bay. I was then advised on my telephone that we were next up. Immediately thereafter, other names were called. When I inquired as to why our name was not called, I was advised their system did not always work. "Did not always work." To me, that means it does not work. The receptionist quickly gained non-civil attitude and demeanor. We did dine inside, sitting at the counter. Now for the food. Our server, Jenae, was terrific. There are several places to sit while waiting its obvious, this eatery is busy. We were called about half the time as told, 10 minutes not the 20 stated by the hostess when we first arrived. A total positive in my books. Once seated our server was prompt and professional, and she was spread over several tables but kept up with our table regularly. A really good cup of coffee, she made sure mine never went empty. The best Apple Juice around like fresh pressed unfiltered, seriously good - a standout. I went for the Huevos Rancheros, two eggs over medium on a crisp tortilla, over black beans with a side of hash brown. The eggs good, the ranchero was okay not great but good. The browns were also okay, needed salt and pepper. The food was okay, the coffee and apple juice really good. Probably one of my worst experience eating at a restaurant on the side of the marina. The food tasted bland and unappitizing. I saw some roaches running around on the floor too and I told the staff about it and they'd say they will deal with but it seems like they dont give a crap about this restaurant. While I was there I heard some couple that was there, found termites in their food, it was so bad that I was trying to leave there as soon as possible. At around 11:30 on Saturday morning there was a 1.5 hour wait (Google said 30 minutes, don't listen to Google). There's plenty of seating while you wait and I appreciate that they've created a shaded area for those who don't want to sit in the sun. In the morning there's a coffee bar to order from while you wait in addition to the bar, though it seemed to close around noon. My wait ended up only being one hour before being seated at an outdoor table with bench seating. I ordered the crab and avocado Benedict with a side of home fried potatoes. There was an impressive amount of crab on the Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly soft as requested. Unfortunately, the whole thing was just lacking flavor. Both the crab and the hollandaise needed seasoning and there was not enough avocado. The home fries benefited from a generous dusting of salt and were lacking the crisp exterior that makes for great potatoes but were a decent side. They had a nice selection of breads for toast or a couple of muffin choices. My son had the breakfast burrito which he enjoyed. It had side of guacamole, salsa & sour cream. It does feel expensive for what it is, but you are also paying for location which is great. Server & hostess were friendly & helpful. Definitely sit outside. We were told a 50 min wait, so we took a walk and our table was ready in 30 minutes. Our table wasn't great, squeezed in between a couple of others and I was asked to move as table is in servers path - so you can only sit around certain parts of table. My colleague and I went on a Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately. I wanted to sit outside but it was cold and cloudy so we sat inside. Be prepared to be on the wait list for a while since it gets very busy. I would say it's worth the wait. The food is great and the menu has a variety of options. Definitely eat here! Come early to avoid the wait. Plenty of parking. If you are waiting, enjoy the scenery- restaurant is next to marina. Go order a drink from the outside bar, you may have to stand in line for that too... but totally worth it. I forgot to take a picture of my delicious Bloody Mary. Our drink order was wrong and our food order was wrong. The trainer sorta just let this woman crash and burn and wasn't following her around to rectify the problems she was creating. Instead, she greeted new tables and would take care of them attentively. Between my meal and the service, it wasn't the best first experience. I will say they said it might rain in 15 mins and within that time the staff worked together to pull out every umbrella they had to create a covered outdoor space.
