These guys are so quick and organized! They are expert packers and pack your stuff so securely. I thought my stuff was going to be all messed up getting shipped from Whittier to Amsterdam, but it didn't since these guys are real professionals. When I got married a couple of years ago I moved from Norwalk to Whittier, and it was an extreme hassle moving my stuff only a couple cities away (in the same state) so I absolutely dreaded this move out of the country. I wanted to choose an honest company and did not want to be taking inventory of my things out of fear that someone might steal. I guess I am stingy and paranoid. Schmidt's staff is just so pleasant and friendly, from the person that gave me the quote to the person that boxed up my weird sentimental items (without questioning why it is necessary to move my giant Pikachu lol). My husband and I recently helped my sister-in-law move to Canada for work. If there is anything we hate to do, it's moving. She was only moving north so everything was moving by truck but I saw they also can do freight and air transportation as well. Bittersweet that my sister is finally leaving the house, but picked such a far destination to move to (Vancouver, BC)! Being the princess that she is, and the big brother that I am, I helped arrange to have all her junk packed up and moved so she wouldn't have to do anything. I found Schmidt International Relocation (SIR) on yelp and saw that it was a new business so I took the chance. Most importantly they were international movers! I couldn't have been happier with my gamble as SIR customer service, professionalism and communication were phenomenal. They're prices were also very competitive and I definitely felt like I got more than my monies worth! They arrived on time and helped disassemble the furniture and wrap up everything so that it would stay clean. My family flew up to Vancouver and the movers were in constant contact with us on when they would be arriving at the new house with everything. They helped move everything upstairs and helped reassemble all the furniture. Amazingly there were no noticeable damage or anything to any of the furniture as well as to the house with all the moving going on. We'll see how long my sister enjoys Canada but we know who we can turn to if she decides to move back! THE BEST EVER! Schmidt International really made everything easy for me. its already hard enough as it is to move, but to move to another country? even worse. They did everything from A-Z to the T. customer service was excellent, movers were polite and were very professional. Literally all i had to do was just pack my stuff and they took care of the rest. No damages were made during the move, no confusion, and best of all the price that they quoted me was very reasonable considering the move from LA to Barcelona. they were on point with everything. even the expected delivery date and time(they were actually 2 hours earlier than what they initially told me). overall i was extremely satisfied and happy with this company. A friend of mine recently needed to move from the the greater LA area to Japan, the friendly staff over at Schmidt were awesome. Their staff was super agressive in pricing and gave a rough quote. Within a few days they came over,did a quick house survey - and once the price was agreed upon they helped pack everything very cleanly into boxes and pallets. Once my buddy relocated to Japan within a short time frame the items all arrived , the Schmidt team took care of all the logistics right till his doorstep. My family and I were moving to London from southern California I contacted them they gave me a good quote within my budget on moving day the team of movers showed up early and immediately started moving boxes and wrapping furniture with mats and plastic they paid close attention to detail without being told to be careful with my glass table and fine art I was very happy with how professional they were the house was empty and on the truck in a few hours. When I got to London it didn't take long for them to show up I received the same great service on drop off as I did on pick up. all of my belongings were there with nothing broken they took everything off the truck to it's designated location and set up the beds for me.
