Horrible customer service. I called because the company I work for had an A/C emergency. Let's begin with the way they answered the phone..."who's this?" I wasn't sure If I had dialed the right number. I had to ask, "Is this a business? Is this Schlueter A/C?" they said said "Yes, this is a business, who's this?" ummmmok. After that was settled John agreed that he could send someone out, but wasn't sure when. I clarified that if they could not come out immediately I understood but that we needed someone right away. He said he would call me back. I called a total of 19 companies, mostly all of them were booked until at least Monday. At one point John called back and spoke to someone else at the firm. He DID NOT state where he was calling from, he did not ask for me, he just spoke to whoever answered the phone. He told them he was sending someone out with a ladder. My colleague knew nothing about situation but was relieved that someone was coming out to help. Right after they spoke in walks a technician from Service Wizard. Not knowing who had called, I frantically called ALL 19 companies, starting with Schlueter (as he had mentioned he might possible be able to come out) and left a message asking them not to come out, but that we were very thankful for their help. I did not hear back, and our A/C was fixed in maybe 15 min. An hour later I see another technician pull up, I walk to his van and explain the situation, he says "it's no problem, I understand" I go back to work for twenty minutes, and in walks John and the technician. "Are you Lola?" "yes, how can I help you?" Slams bill on my desk, starts yelling, "you can't just cancel, there's laws that protect us, we're busy, you have to pay. Who do you work for?" Startled as I am, I apologize for the confusion but I did call and leave a msg almost immediately after he called. He doesn't seem to care, says he's done talking to me and moves on to my bosses office and starts berating her. His behavior was inexcusable, unprofessional, and ridiculous. He keeps saying we have to pay. We state we will be contacting the BBB to settle this claim. I ask the technician why he told me everything was fine, if it clearly was not. He doesn't say much other than that he had to drive from across town. Again, not really my problem given that we called immediately after. At this point, John is livid as all hell, turning red, & spewing nonsense. Not sure what kind of business they're running but this was an awful experience. In conclusion, 1. receive/call by clearly stating your companies name, 2. listen to your messages 3. get your shit together read more
