I was so lucky that this pizza restaurant was open so early. I came here rigut at 10;30 and due to my last minute planning I was able to purchase an extra large NY style pizza just in time for our office party. They had at least fifteen different types of pizzas on display and ready to serve. Based on the menu, it seeemed like their main focus is on pizza slices, however I asked and the guy told me that they also sell individual pizzas of various sizes. I decided on the veggie NY style pizza that I know would satisfy everyone. I ordered two of those and it took about twenty minutes to be prepared. It came with spinach, tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and mozzarella cheese. Now I'm wondering if they will need to be jeated-up somehow, because our party is in one hour.

Good pizza for less than $6.00. They also have other prepared food, like meats, salads and sides, but I went with pizza. The service is relatively fast and it is a place for a quick bite. I work in the area and it's one of my favorite options for lunch - slice of pizza, kin of New York style lunch :). Also, considering that the chain exists since 1956, it's reliable and proven with a time. Interior is simple and ascetic.

My time here was okay. I wasn't very crowded I was in and out in about 5 mins. He didn't heat my pizza long it taste fresh. I feel like the changed their crust formula it's really good I normally don't eat the crest but I did this time. It's very buttery. I paid $4.22 for one slice of cheese pizza. I think that is a bit much but whatever I was hungry.

The gentleman working there is super friendly. Legitimately the best pizza around convention center. Pizzas are very delicious and well prepared. I love the service at the place and the chef is so nice with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! My pizza lover boy is a big fan of this place. We visit DC from TX and order pizza here every afternoon. Unfortunately we will go back to TX tomorrow and aren't able to taste the amazing pizza. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food and staff are absolutely exquisite. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped here being in town for a convention and working the set up duties. This is located on the corner of L street on the OUTSIDE on building. It is not inside the convention center. This is your traditional sbarro type place - half cooked pizzas to choose - into oven - weigh options for pasta, breadsticks, stromboli, and dessert options in freezer. I went with the $8.99 two slice/bev combo. Went with a slice of pepperoni and a slice of a supreme style pie. Place for being in a high traffic area was very clean. Wait staff or employees were very helpful, attentive, and nice to deal with. As far as the pizza it was very tough on the edges as in it was right at that place where a pizza you have left out gets before you finally take it out of the box and put in the fridge for the next day. Not sure if leaving it in the oven would have made it better, but it wasn't outstanding. I understand what you get here and how it should be so I wasn't looking for a gourmet pizza, just was good enough to fill the gills and hit the road. Fountain drinks were also good and it had options for iced tea and bottled beverages

We came here to grab a quick slice before going into the conference center. Two slices and a drink for $10. Not great pizza and a bit expensive for what you get but is pretty quick. The restaurant is clean and has about 3-4 tables inside and some outdoor seating. Probably would not be my first choice to go back.

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

I grab and use in their entirety both the orange-y hot sauce and the green sauce every time while adding hatch chiles to the simplistico burrito. I've shown several other people this place and they loved it as well. When it turns to side door they make some bomb Detroit style pizza. I truly haven't had a bad example of the style yet. I don't know if I'm selecting well or if it's maybe just low key the ultimate style of pizza but this is yet another fantastic example. It's just a small, quick takeout place for the most part, though there is some seating outside when the weather is appropriate. As such, service is generally to the point which is fine by me.

Super Unique Setup With Cool Lights That Make It Easy To Spot. It's Different From Your Typical Pizza Place, Which I Actually Liked. This Is Detroit-Style Pizza, So Don't Expect New York Style. It's Thick, With A Generous Amount Of Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. Honestly, It Almost Felt Like A Cheesy Bread Situation But In A Good Way. The Crust Was Buttery With A Slight Crisp On The Outside & Soft Inside, Which Was The Perfect Balance. I'd Definitely Come Back & Bring My Son This Feels Like A Spot He'd Love, Especially If He's Into Breadsticks & Cheesy Pizza. The Staff Was Decent, Though I Didn't Interact Much. From the time I arrived they made me feel special and wasn't even wearing anything that said it was my birthday. Now for the atmosphere, it was so so elegant in there even thinking about it now makes me want to go back just to stare at those wax candles that creates mountains of dripped wax which is its own kind of art. Next, let's take about the mouthwatering and delicious food we had. I ordered the Vodka Sauce Pasta and it was the perfect amount of heat and flavor. I also got a side of garlic bread and it was so crispy, light, buttery, and garlicky, just like I like it. My husband ordered the Drunken Love Pizza and of course I had to try a slice and WOWWWW. That one slice of pizza had me drooling it was so yummy!! Everyone enjoyed their food and it was great time. Now, on to my cake, I'd brought candles, plates, and even a knife with me to cut the cake. To my surprise, they brought the cake out with lit candles and everyone sung Happy Birthday to me. They even cut and served the cake to us. Keep in mind, there was not a charge on the bill for this either. It truly made my birthday even more special. Grazie Nonna, you don't understand how happy you made me feel that day.
