A solid spot for a quick lunch if you're at or near the convention center. I stopped in to grab a bite before a meeting, and the line moved efficiently. I ordered the #1 combo: one slice, one side, and a fountain drink. I went with a slice of pepperoni and a Caesar salad. They serve Pepsi products at the fountain. The pizza has good flavor, though it's never quite hot, more lukewarm, in my experience. That said, the Caesar salad is surprisingly good for a fast-casual place. There's a mix of window seating and a few large and small tables if you choose to dine in. read more

I was so lucky that this pizza restaurant was open so early. I came here rigut at 10;30 and due to my last minute planning I was able to purchase an extra large NY style pizza just in time for our office party. They had at least fifteen different types of pizzas on display and ready to serve. Based on the menu, it seeemed like their main focus is on pizza slices, however I asked and the guy told me that they also sell individual pizzas of various sizes. I decided on the veggie NY style pizza that I know would satisfy everyone. I ordered two of those and it took about twenty minutes to be prepared. Good pizza for less than $6.00. They also have other prepared food, like meats, salads and sides, but I went with pizza. The service is relatively fast and it is a place for a quick bite. I work in the area and it's one of my favorite options for lunch - slice of pizza, kin of New York style lunch :). The facility is similar: you're not getting high end interior design or architecture, but they make decent utilitarian use of space, where there're comfortable enough places to sit. They deserve some bonus points for having mostly pleasant employees and an owner who's often on site. They have a convenient location for some events. My time here was okay. I wasn't very crowded I was in and out in about 5 mins. He didn't heat my pizza long it taste fresh. I feel like the changed their crust formula it's really good I normally don't eat the crest but I did this time. It's very buttery. I paid $4.22 for one slice of cheese pizza. The gentleman working there is super friendly. Legitimately the best pizza around convention center. Pizzas are very delicious and well prepared. I love the service at the place and the chef is so nice with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! My pizza lover boy is a big fan of this place. We visit DC from TX and order pizza here every afternoon. Unfortunately we will go back to TX tomorrow and aren't able to taste the amazing pizza. Stopped here being in town for a convention and working the set up duties. This is located on the corner of L street on the OUTSIDE on building. It is not inside the convention center. This is your traditional sbarro type place - half cooked pizzas to choose - into oven - weigh options for pasta, breadsticks, stromboli, and dessert options in freezer. I went with the $8.99 two slice/bev combo. Went with a slice of pepperoni and a slice of a supreme style pie. Place for being in a high traffic area was very clean. Wait staff or employees were very helpful, attentive, and nice to deal with. As far as the pizza it was very tough on the edges as in it was right at that place where a pizza you have left out gets before you finally take it out of the box and put in the fridge for the next day. Not sure if leaving it in the oven would have made it better, but it wasn't outstanding. I understand what you get here and how it should be so I wasn't looking for a gourmet pizza, just was good enough to fill the gills and hit the road. I stopped in here for a quick bite during a 3 day long event at the convention center, and I have to say I was not impressed by this Sbarro at all. Beyond being conveniently placed and making fairly tasty pizza (by the slice, no less - better than having to buy a full pizza into the convention center!), this location didn't have much going for it. Even the stroll from the door to the counter was a disappointment, as I had a hard time lifting my feet with each step. The floor was stickier than words can explain - it was just gross. Clearly the foot traffic from the event was overwhelming the staff and preventing them from scrubbing the floors down. Ordering went smoothly enough, but when it came time to pay I ran into nothing but problems. There were a couple cashiers handling things - and doing so relatively well, given how busy they were. Unfortunately, through some sort of error, the one cashier skipped right over me when it was time to pay. The issue here is that as the food is made it's boxed, stacked, and arranged one order after the next. This system keeps things moving and helps the right food get to the right person when they get to the register. By skipping me, unfortunately, there was confusion as the cashiers couldn't figure out why the next order up (mine) only had one slice of pizza - not the two that the person paying had ordered. And it was noisy enough that everyone was having problems hearing each other, so that admittedly extended the length of what was a pretty minor blooper. After finally getting that admittedly small mistake fixed, I finally got my food. I paid with a $20 and was given back $4 in change - thankfully I noticed as I out the money back in my wallet! Like the former incident, this seemed to be a genuine mistake. It happens. But. After all that, as I left to eat, my cashier left his busy post and followed me to ask if I got the right order. I admittedly got pretty impatient at that point, as they'd already wasted time holding up the line opening boxes to check our orders when they had goofed earlier. Good on him for wanting to check, though... I'm really not trying to be too malicious here. The staff were clearly doing their best during a major event. But with so many mistakes being made - and the place really not being kept in the best condition - I unfortunately found myself avoiding Sbarro the next day. Hopefully, I caught them on a bad day...I'll find out if I return for another convention, I suppose! read more

I ordered Uber eats from sbarro at 9 am for a 2pm delivery. They said expect a delivery between 2-230. At 2:29!!!!!! They canceled my order. This was for a big group. They were left disappointed. I was left embarrassed. The restaurant never reached out. Nothing. The most embarrassing/pathetic business practice I have ever witnessed. I don't leave yelp reviews. Especially not bad ones.
