Went here for my friends bachelorette dinner. The place was POPPIN. Definitely would've been a fun bar scene if that's what we were going for but we were just looking for an upscale dinner. I found the menu here to be a little small and boring. Thought that maybe given its location and competition we might've seen a little more on there but I will say they offered some specials which is what I ended up ordering. Two of my friends had the fra diavolo dish and the bride got herself a steak that I tried. Nothing special on that which again was a bit of a bummer considering the price. This place is wildly expensive for what you get. For those prices I'd rather go to a more reputable establishment where you're kind of guaranteed perfect food. It was still good but I just think again for the price I wouldn't ever go back.

This was an amazing lobster roll! Super lemony and the bun was perfectly toasted. The French fries were extremely crispy too. Service was great and we were able to come on a Friday afternoon without a reservation and get seated immediately on the water. Will definitely be back.

Despite Savr being so busy with the tourists from the tall ships and a local conference, the staff was so friendly, fast, and responsive. They were very accommodating to my child's food allergy which was very much appreciated. The meals were to die for! Fresh, hot, and well seasoned! The portion was also filling! The mango mule mocktail was delicious!

Tl/dr: not bad but nothing super special. Loved: - The chic interior and upscale vibe. - The attentive service (esp w respect to allergies). - What I'm sure is a beautiful view of the water from our table when the sun doesn't set at 5p. But the food is just ok. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas (one entree size, one app size), and 4 or 5 apps and nothing was impressive. The pappardelle w bolognese was the highlight for me. The lemon ricotta ravioli was borderline cold by the time I cut into it which was really odd. The mozzarella was forgettable, but the pork belly was solid. The scallops that were on special were the itty bitty kind and just ok - mostly overwhelmed by whatever breading they were covered in. The best part was probably the deserts - I had the creamy Nutella something or other - and was really upset when I got to the airport in the morning and realized I left it in the hotel fridge /sad face. Crème brûlée was on point. If nothing else, their pastry chef is 100 on the land/sea/sky.

SAVR has a beautiful outdoor patio for the summertime, and karol provided great service. i tried their island affair cocktail, and we started with a half dozen oysters to see how they were, they were from dodge cove in maine and were absolutely delicious. we would have ordered a whole dozen to start if we knew they would be so delicious! i wanted to order the sea bass but was informed it is farm-raised, so i tried their filet mignon, medium rare, with broccolini and mushrooms. the filet tasted amazing, but it was cooked closer to medium which was not my preference. the mushrooms and broccolini were decent. my date ordered the chicken, which was my second choice. it was very good. dodge cove oysters 10/10 broccolini 8/10 mushrooms 7.8/10 filet mignon 7.6/10 chicken 8.4/10 island affair 9/10 prisoner 10/10 overall, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the pier with tasty food and a great experience. definitely one of the better options in the seaport. ambiance: 4.8/5 food: 4.3/5 drinks: 4.5/5 service: 4.5/5 savr: 4.6/5

The service was amazing my server was friendly and knowledgeable with drink options and appetizers. The view from the table was over looking the water at the seaport The appetizers variety was a good selection, I wish they had a charcuterie board, the drinks were delicious we had the expresso martini flight a delicious lemon drop and 3 Mango drinks off the menu. THE Crab corn chowder was yummy and had big chunks of crab . The mussels were full of flavor and big and juicy. The oysters were salty and shocked to perfection the Thai meatballs, had an amazing sauce creamy and slightly spicy. I would have liked a little more spice lobster and scalloped pot stickers great. The calamari yummy

During my visit to Boston, my best friend and I dined at this restaurant on two separate occasions. The food was outstanding. We basically recreated our first-night dinner to celebrate my birthday on her last night in town. The cod was delicious and perfectly cooked, but our favorite dish was the lobster dumpling, which was generously filled with lobster and accompanied by what I assume is a lobster bisque sauce. On our first night, we enjoyed cod, lobster, dumplings, and oysters, paired with some wine. I savored the oysters on my own, and they were absolutely divine. On our last night, she ordered the cod, while I opted for the lobster spaghetti. We shared an order of the lobster dumplings and both nights indulged in the Nutella cheesecake. Now that I'm back home, I find myself wishing I could have that exact meal again.

I'm surprisingly delighted with this restaurant from a flavor and value standpoint. I was just looking for a solid warm early lunch on a cold day in the seaport, but was really pleased to find this exceeded my expectations. The interior is very comfortable, the wait staff very attentive, and I didn't want to vomit over Boston prices. Their pasta was even pretty good and that's hard for me to say about a place not in the North End. Definitely recommend!

This place was great! Food was fresh and tasty. Big portions. Powla (sorry prolly spelling it wrong) gave great friendly service. She read off the specials and made sure drinks were full and reported to the kitchen that we had allergies. I appreciated that the kitchen put all allergy sticks in our food. The atmosphere was great we loved sitting on the water. And overall everything felt clean. Would highly recommend. My mom and I split the chicken sandwich. It was delicious and we had plenty of extra after my dad got the burger and said he really enjoyed the patty. He also had about half his burger left when he was done and my son got the chicken sliders and said they were good.

I came here for a weeknight dinner with a group of 7 and was able to get a table without a reservation around 6pm even though the restaurant was busy. Our server was really nice, and the food and ambiance were great.

    Is there a dress code?

Not rely, based upon our experience, jeans a t-shirt seem exceptable. But it is a nicer restaurant, so, a poli and khakis would be the minimum.

The cider was definitely the best part of my meal. The burger had very little taste and the fries were either really soggy or tiny and crispy. Not sure if I did something to annoy the kitchen, but it felt like I got the bottom of the barrel. :) The ambiance was buzzy and energetic lots of patrons sharing stories about prior concerts by the artist performing that night. Our server was kind but seemed a little overwhelmed- I had to ask for water refills and he came to ask how everything was before we'd taken a bite. The convenience was great, but the food was not great enough that I'd definitely return here before another concert.

It responded right away that it would optimize for a place that appeals to cocktail nerds and is open on Mondays. I directed me to Wig Shop, and said that Wig Shop even has a cocktail named in honor of John Gertsen, Boston's much-missed (he's in SF, last I knew) founding bartender at Drink and Number Nine Park. Wig Shop did not disappoint: fabulous cocktails, an easygoing vibe (my two buddies and I were able to chat without yelling from 8pm until 11:30), comfortable banquettes (with, incidentally, backs that are high enough to be supportive but low enough that you can spread out your arms on them), and wonderful service. The service, in particular, lives up to the "cocktail nerd" aspect that the LLM highlighted: our server knew the drinks backwards and forwards, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the drink in Gertsen's honor. I'd recommend this place to cocktail nerds, and to anyone who wants to have a drink and chat with friends. We'll be back soon.

It was very last minute, so we had no reservations, but we checked opening hours and were there almost on the dot. Thankfully we were able to get in. The way they are setup is that if you are a party of 2, they sit you with another "couple" to maximize space. This is fun, it makes you have conversations with strangers that for the time you are there become "friends". Hopefully you have the same good experience we did and not have anti-social people in front of you. The drinks are fun and strong, and they have a full bar for those who want something more classic or have a drink of choice. They also have food, which looked really good.

We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time.
