It's fake. A call center answers, take your info and tell you a locksmith will call you.

I had a tough to turn lock on one of my doors that kinda stopped working as my handyman took it apart. He claimed, "it's broken." But i knew it was working till we took it apart, so i was going down the road of how you replace the lock and everything. All new hardware. Even contacted who we purchased our doors from. 4-6 weeks to get them. Then i thought maybe a locksmith could fix it- instead of this trying to order a new lock etc. i called what seemed to be a local locksmith but they were not? I think there is some kind of auto generated thing out there -that just says your city- but they are not local. I had booked them. And then after losing a day of waiting for them-to not come or call! Forget about it! I had noticed everyone on Yelp mentioning the real Sausalito locksmith! So that was my next move after that bad experience. Thomas came over and inspected the situation and had a resolution to something within the lock that was weak he didn't like- but it's true, a small flimsy metal part. He went to see if he had something like it but stronger in his truck. Yes- problem solved! But then where the door wasn't lining up exactly- he trouble shot that as well. I like a person who can problem solve on the spot. So grateful for this nice friendly guy who knows his stuff- and got the job done step by step. (The issues were not obvious) Can't recommend him enough- if you are in Southern Marin- you should ask for Thomas. Time is money and he put my mind at ease once he came to fix my door I have had good and bad locksmiths- none are ever in the middle. These guys are the good guys for your money and time. He was able to help me get back into the house I locked myself out of very quickly. His quote was a little bit more expensive than some other companies but he was the fastest responder and took the call himself, so I think it's worth the extra cost! read more

I called them for a small job that was not a rush. The side door to our garage would not open due to the rain - but I needed to get into the garage within 48 hours. The contractor was punctual and polite but was here for 15 minutes and just drilled part of the latch plate to make it bigger. $350 was very expensive when I specifically said there was no hurry, but he chose to come the same day. Got locked out at Sausalito at mid night, called two other places with no response. The guy here came out in 25 minutes and was able to unlock the door in less than 5 minutes. Definitely a lifesaver. The guy quoted a travel fee of $55, the final price was $305. They must have plenty of business since I received zero response from two phone calls and an online quote request. I try to use local businesses as much as possible, so I called around 1:00 pm on a Friday to make an appointment for Monday morning. After leaving all my information I was told I would get a call back. At 3:00 pm I sent in a request for a quote online just as a back up. At 5:00 pm I had not received any response, so I called again. The representative apologized, took my information again....and I never received any follow up. Both people I spoke with were courteous, and I wish them well, but I won't be calling back. Update: one week after posting this review the owner called and apologized for the delayed response.
