Five star service from Greg's Locksmithing. Needed to rekey my locks. Greg was nearby and took me as his next appointment. He worked efficiently and did not go over estimate. Additionally he took the time to answer my questions about smart locks, explained the differences, and provided a recommendation that would match my existing hardware. When ready for the smart lock, I'll call him to install it. I highly recommend his services. read more

Very professional and courteous Greg, the owner, showed up to do the job, explained about our door and lock. I would recommend highly. He even came to our house on a Sunday read more

Locally owned and operated with no middle man. Greg does everything himself and does the job. Highly recommend.

Greg did an outstanding job installing new locks at my home! I will definitely call on him again in the future!

I told Greg my back door knob had fallen apart and I purchased a new set for him to install. When he arrived, he pointed out that the new set I bought would allow him to make a duplicate key so I could use the same key on knob and deadbold. He told me to buy a different brand at Home Depot and he would come back in a few hours. He came back, fixed the doorknob, made us a new set of keys and didn't charge me for two service calls. Great job. I couldn't be happier! read more

Greg is the best. We have an older house and the lock needed some special TLC. Greg showed up on time, made sure the job was done right and was extremely pleasant to work with. Bonus points, Greg has a machine shop so he helped me out with some tack welding as well. read more

I just moved into a new home and my mover recommended Greg. So glad I called him. He came out and met with me about the project, he had great ideas, was very knowledgable and so incredibly nice. The only day i could make the job work was on a Sunday and Greg made that happen easily for me. He also got a hold of a hard to find part in time to get the job done before I left on a trip. And he's also very digital savvy. He knew about all the new smart locks and how to install them and had great insight on how to do it right. He drilled a new deadbolt hole in my brand new front door, installed a new smart lock, deactivated an old lock and re-keyed my entire home. Everything worked perfectly. I can now lock and unlock my front door from anywhere in the world. Super honest, clean, courteous and meticulous, incredibly nice, and I highly recommend him to anyone. read more

Outstanding job! I found Greg's Locksmithing right here on Yelp. He was the only locksmith in Marin who was willing to do a job on a Sunday and was able to meet me at my car within 15 minutes of my call! He matched the VERY reasonable price another company had quoted me and was already working on my car by the time I had gotten there. He tested the key he had made several times on ALL locks of my car, re-cutting the key a few times to make sure it fit PERFECTLY in all the locks. He was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and polite. A friend of mine walked by during the job and told me he had used Greg a few times about ten years ago. He said "Greg is the best in the business." I would surely recommend Greg to anyone read more

I had initially gone to Greg to try and have my Toyota key copied. There were some issues with the blank I brought and i think there was something wrong with it. We went through the whole process of trying to cut it and program it but it still wasn't working. Greg went out of his way to get me a dealer copy of the key. I was very impressed with his service. read more

I lost one of the keys to my Kia Sedona. The Kia dealership could not make a duplicate for me. Kia sent the key to a locksmith who could not make a duplicate either. I called three local locksmiths and Greg was the only one to call me back. Although Kia told me the code did not match my key (the reason Kia gave for being unable to make a duplicate key for me), Greg cut me two new keys that work perfectly. Very nice guy. read more

greg has helped out my clients and I many times. Lexus wanted $300 for a new key, greg came out and made one for me, at my house for $125. I just read the bad yelp about the guy who locked himself out of the house, fell asleep in his car, drove to the circle k to use the phone, and had no money. give greg a chance, he is a good guy. read more

You don't get better at your trade than Greg. I was worried when I got locked out of my apartment with my dog. To call a locksmith because I didn't know if the price I was quoted would be fair. Fair is important to me. I know whatever Greg charges that is what it is and it is fair and honest. Not only that but he does the job so well. Professional and really a nice guy to have at your door. Cannot go wrong here at all!! Keep his number in your iphone... at least I got locked out with my phone.. read more

Greg is honest, reliable, fair and has excellent knowledge of his products. I recommend him for any "locksmithing" needs.

. Greg was terrific. Instead of our purchasing an expensive new ignition for the truck, Greg made us a pair of keys to the factory specifications. They work perfectly--and much better than the old worn out original key. He came right to our home to do it, too! Now I have my OWN key to my partner's truck. read more

I used Greg's Locksmithing when I had lost a friend's house key. The problem was I was supposed to be looking after her cat. Since my friend was out of town for four days, I couldn't leave the cat in the house to starve. I called my friend and she gave me permission to get a locksmith. I called Greg and he helped me out. I was so grateful. I almost thought about crawling over the roof and dropping down on to her deck. Since, I'm not in Mission Impossible shape, I'm glad I didn't have to do that. GC read more

Greg is a reliable, punctual, and very knowledgeable locksmith. He is mobile. He conveniently rekeyed my locks right at my doorstep for my next tenant. He also answered my question about why on one door I had to turn the key counter-clockwise to open the door. It seemed counter-intuitive. He informed me that that lock brand has left and right hand locks depending on how the door opens. The building contractor had chosen the wrong setup for my door. Who knew that kind of information, except Greg. read more

I have a two part key system for my car and I lost a part. The dealership insisted that I need to by both parts at a cost of over $200.
