Just this morning in front of me I saw the giant red truck as shown in picture running stop signs red lights and then speeding up on the highway on highway 12, looking to the left, with their camera up, to try to take a picture of me because I took a picture of their truck at a stoplight. This is not a sane person driving it. Thursday, May 29th, I observed this truck run the stop sign at Challenger way *(just north of Mercury way) westbound, ZERO stop at sign, just rolled right thru, disregarding oncoming traffic.. Then at the stoplight just north of that intersection at Sebastopol road, No stop AGAIN, they ran the red light on a right turn on red. When I pulled up next to them at a stoplight on their right at the next intersection, they observed me taking this picture because then they drove like an even worse Maniac and trying to keep up with me. Making a left northbound on Stony point to get into eastbound highway 12, they swerved across multiple Lanes of traffic while towing a vehicle to get onto the ramp behind me, and then they desperately floored it while towing a vehicle to hold their camera up and turn to the left while they're driving 70 mph towing a vehicle. I can't talk about their towing ability, for all I know this is one person shop and this is the owner, but I sure hope they see this review, find out who was doing a pickup on Mercury way at this date and time and fire their ass. And if it IS the owner, what the hell? I know many tow drivers, they are METICULOUS about stopping, obeying every law, driving safely, why are YOU? Whoever They are.. They should not be behind the wheel. And before you think this a made-up claim, I have every bit of this on dash cam. All saved, getting turned into the police now. Who said they can't do much, but they will make a note. They said they would have to see it themselves, not second hand, and can't follow up on my dash cam, but it goes into their files?

Unfortunately, the tires arrived late, which I understand was outside the store's control. I made another appointment for the following day, drove back to the store, checked in, and waited about 25 minutes before being told the tires didn't meet the load requirements for my truck and they would not install them. To be fair, the staff did take the time to look into other tire sizes and brands and even contacted another store, but they were unable to find an acceptable alternative. My frustration isn't that they refused to install the tires if they didn't meet the proper specifications--that was the right decision. My frustration is that this should have been determined before the tires were ordered and before I made multiple trips to the store. A little more attention to detail on the front end would have saved everyone a lot of time and frustration. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and based on what I experienced, I can't recommend the Cleveland Ave location.

They said Turbo installed the wrong size spring and didn't calibrate the drums correctly, causing the door to fail. So now we DO have to replace our door. Go find another company.

I've used Lock Stop and Key two times now and wouldn't call anyone else! The first time was for my business. We had someone break the handle off our back door and needed someone late at night to replace the handle. Josh was responsive and quick to the rescue! He also took the time to look at the other doors in the building and advise how we can make them secure. We appreciated his professional knowledge and had him update all the locks and handles to our building! The second time, I locked myself out of my new home that had an auto lock on the front door I wasn't used to. With my baby inside waking from his nap, it quickly turned into a stressful situation. I had a very disappointing experience with this towing company. The response time was much longer than promised--I waited over an hour with no updates. When the driver finally arrived, there was no apology or explanation. On top of that, the pricing felt unclear and higher than expected. I was quoted one amount over the phone, but the final charge ended up being significantly more, with extra fees that were never explained in advance. This was an excellent experience for me. It started out all bad. Locked out of my car and out of town. Called to have a transponder key made. Locksmith came out but was unable to make the key due to no obd. He was nice and polite and could have charged me since he did show up but he didn't. The following week I called him again and he came out again. I had repaired the obd and he was able to make me a key (and a back-up...it wasn't going to happen to me ever again!). My friend had the unfortunate event of having to call a locksmith to cut and recode a key for her vehicle. Really helped me out of a jam. I lost my car key and needed to get a new one reprogrammed. My driveway is an odd shape so I couldn't even have it towed to a locksmith or the dealer. He came out to my house on a Saturday and was able to get me up and running within a half hour of arriving with a new programmed key and cut a new mechanical key as well. I worked at a very high traffic venue. We broke the only key for our gear closet and we needed the gear for our next show in 45 min. Needed to replace a lost key fob for my 8-year old EV. Prompt reply to my call and very friendly and informative on the phone. Brought the car (2017 Chevy Bolt) to their shop and waited about 20 minutes while they programed the fob - much more complicated than I expected. It is illegal in the State of CA. to charge a surcharge on a credit card; look it up online! I worked for a credit card company for about a year so I know this is not legal. I spent $220, they charged me almost a $7 surcharge for using a credit card. No formal PRINTED disclosure on the invoice or receipt, and NO DISCLOSURE before I used the card. Just some funky hand-written circle on the front of the invoice that had the last 4 digits of my credit card number, a new amount, and a cryptic W/CC Fee - WTF! Think about how much they rob customers each day with this little game.
