Our front door has not locked right in ten years. It's an old old house. We've had 5 people look at it, shake their heads, and then say "can't be fixed." We also needed a couple of jammed doors that wouldn't shut and lock right fixed. And then we needed our garage lock switched out. So Matt comes in and quietly assesses the situation. A few hours later, the entire project was complete. The front door locks right for the first time ever. And it's smooth as silk. Our french doors in the bedroom and living room shut with precision. Our garage finally locks the right way. We're not sure why we waited so long to get this all fixed. If you've got lock issues of any kind, call Matt. This guy is Matlock...and McGyver, all in one package. We love his work. read more

I do not know why I have never written a review for Mattlock. I think the old saying goes if they do a lousy job you tell everyone and if they do a great job you only tell a few. Well Matt does a great job. He is professional, on time, and stands behind his work. I have used him to rekey many homes and he is the go to guy for your locks. I even had the pleasure of working with Matt and his son on one job and that was double the great service. read more

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Matt is the best. He called me and scheduled services very quickly. He was on time, and super polite. He gave me advice on one of my doors that was needing some fixing up. He also installed a night lock on my front door, to prevent my sleep walking daughter from escaping in the night. :o) I will recommend Matt to all of my friends and family, and I will be using him again if need be. Thank you, Matt, for everything. read more

We moved into a new place and thought we could change the front door locks ourselves. Long story short - we ended up locking ourselves INSIDE our new home. Called Matt and he was arrived in 15 minutes. After getting some instruction from him from the other side of the door, we were able to finally get the door open. Matt changed the lock for us and gave us an explanation of why it happened (so hopefully we never do it again). All this took around 30 minutes total! Highly recommended!! read more

Professional and quick service. They will be my go to locksmiths from now on! I am so impressed, it's rare that businesses treat people like family. read more

They're just too expensive, and I don't appreciate businesses that drive up the price simply to make more money off of the public. The Japanese have been known to say that "business is war". Well, in this case, the enemy is the consumer. read more

Arrived within 20 minutes (as promised) after locking self out of the house. He waited for me to run to Home Depot to get a replacement knob and also duplicated keys on site. Efficient, patient, helpful and very reasonable rates for coming on a weekend late in the afternoon. Thank you! read more

I have a 20+ year old door with an even more ancient lock on it. The latch busted the day I had to go out of town. Not only did Matt respond that same day, but he did lots of independent research to help identify all my options in replacing the latch. In the end, he was able to find another latch to replace my broken one (which was not easy, as it had been out of production for a few decades). But he also indicated that he could refer me to another company that could help retrofit a new lock to the ancient hole in the door (for the old lock). I felt like he wanted what was best for me, instead of thinking what would help him the best. I appreciate that! read more

I needed a lot of locks re-keyed on short notice. Matt came out on a Saturday afternoon and finished a thorough and professional job faster than I would have imagined. He was extremely well outfitted in his van and had two replacement locksets available. Getting everything done at one visit was highly useful to me I will certainly plan on using Matt for all my future locksmith needs. read more

I've been working with Matt for about a year now. I found him on yelp. I love having a great service provider and Matt takes care of all my locksmith issues. He installed one keyless keypad on our home front door. We liked it so much we had him install another one on our next house. I sent him over to our church and he does all of our church facility lock work. I have rentals and he gives me security assessments and makes good recommendations with options and choices. He is responsive and dependable and fairly priced. I recommend him without reservation very highly. read more

I've used Matt at least 50 times over the years and could not possible recommend him enough. Reliable, affordable and professional.

For the past 4 years Matt has been my #1 locksmith. Always on time for my Sherriff evictions, reliable with all of the foreclosure properties I manage and trust worthy when dealing with my rentals. Matt was very friendly on the phone and very accommodating with his time. He did the job quickly and well. Asked all the right questions. He can even run credit cards on the spot for us non-cash type folk. Also no creep vibe, which I think is "key" when having your locks changed. I plan on using his services in the future especially since I also have a rental property. read more

I called several locksmiths for a last minute re-key of my business. (8 doors and several locks) Mattlock quoted me the best price and insured he could do it quickly. At first i was a bit skeptical as they all say that to get the job, but i decided to go along with him. I called on a Sunday morning and expressed that it was urgent. He was able to come out within an hour. He was extremely knowledgeable (we have several different doors and locks), friendly and fast. The entire job was done in less then an hour and his original price didn't change. this was the best experience I've ever had with a locksmith. I highly recommend! read more

Matt and his son just finished rekeying our house. They fixed several of our stuck doors and all the work was top notch. Matt came on time and finished under his estimate. That's five stars. read more

We recommend Mattlock Mobile Locksmith very, very highly. We purchased a home and wanted all of the exterior locks replaced. In addition, two of the doors did not close properly. We called Matthew Pintor, the owner/locksmith of Mattlock. The next day, the day we first took possession of the house, he showed up in his mobile locksmith van as he said he would, inspected everything, and said he could get it done immediately. The hardware for door handles were in good shape, so Matt suggested we just re-pin the locks without unnecessary changes of hardware - a more economical scenario. Matt re-pinned all the doors, fixed the doors so they closed properly, and made us 5 house keys, working in his van right at our property. We were thrilled. Matt has 17 years of experience and his competence shows. If you need lock work done, we strongly recommend you call Mattlock Mobile Locksmith. read more

I have used him for home, auto and business needs. Always reliable and works fast to get the job done. This is a great local owned business.

Mattlock Mobile does the keying and security for all our restaurants in Sonoma County and beyond. They are the best! Always available, truly professional and very quick to respond. In our business, we need someone that can stay on top of this and Mattlock does that better than the others! I highly recommend Matt and his team to supply your lock and security needs! read more

I do trust this guy. With years and years of experience, I can honestly say the owner, Matthew, works hard to please his customers. Combine that with the fact that he's the ONLY true 24/7 locksmith in the county, Mattlock is worth calling first. read more

We had a broken latch on the door leading to our garage. Matt came a few hours after I called him and fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction in less than an hour. This is the first time I write a review for low performance. I locked myself out of my house. I give them 2 stars because they did show up and they did open my door. They had to remove the lock for whatever reason. Now my lock doesn't lock. I called them multiple times and no one returned my call. I left a message indicating that my lock wasn't working after they installed it again. I asked them if the could come back and fix what they have done. Now I have a broken lock and I have to find a professional to help me fix what they broke. My advice to you is to verify their work multiple times when they are in the premises because you won't get a call back. :( read more

Look no further, you've found your locksmith! Matthew is professional, kind, and responsive. He communicates well and arrives on time. His prices are extremely fair and his work shows his integrity. We moved into a new house and needed to install new knobs and deadbolts (on wonky old doors), and re-key a bunch of locks. Matthew came three times to complete all the work (some of which was not easy). The third time he came because I made a mistake and didn't have him key the right lock the time before, and he didn't charge us anything for that final visit. I plan to recommend him to any friends or neighbors in need of a locksmith. read more
