But over the last four weeks since, the FOB's ability to open the door, or to even be recognized by the car to start the engine has steadily degraded, and at this rate, will probably be unusable within a month. Second time was when I moved, and had the house re-keyed. Same deal. Prompt, pleasant, and most of all honest. There was one lock that would have to be replaced if I wanted to use the lock. Since it was no big deal to lock this particular door regularly, I gave that one a pass. Person put on no pressure to pad the bill. Again, a fair price for the service. Then the other day, the latch wouldn't retract on my front door and the door would not open with my key. Thankfully I figured that out the night before, and left the house a different way. Trevor was at my place in maybe ten minutes. He tried to fix the problem, but it was a no go. I asked if he could set the lock a certain way so that I didn't need to use the latch. He did. He must have been at it for at least 20 or so minutes. He gave me advice on what to do to replace the latch, but I opted not to. Zero pressure. And no charge. These days customer service is so sorely lacking in many businesses, but not with Abir Locksmith. Honesty, integrity, and getting the job done. I hope to not need the service again, but if I do, there is no doubt I will call Abir Locksmith.
