Relaxing atmosphere. Nice, attentive staff. Very curated menu selection that has something for everyone; vegan, vegetarian, carnivore, dare I say Keto?!... fruitarian. And CARB-ivores, like myself. They really did an excellent job, because the menu really isn't huge. I'd come back for sure

Breakfast at Sante is always a great start to the morning at Fairmont. Staff is always top notch and the breakfast always comes out exactly as you ordered. The banana bread is always a treat. Look forward to every visit here.

Had the pleasure of dining at Santé earlier this month to celebrate an anniversary. Service was impeccable and we were delighted to be greeted with sparkling wine to ring in this special occasion. We started off with the Local Halibut Crudo, beautifully plated and the perfect small bite. My husband raved about the Trout for his main dish. I ordered the pork chop which was perfectly cooked and paired well with the char and polenta. We finished the dinner with the lovely pineapple upside down cake. Bonus, because we stayed at the Inn, we had breakfast there in the morning. Highlights were the banana bread with espresso butter(yum!) and the bacon cheddar scone with jalapeño butter.

would 100% recommend sante's over and over i was able to have their dinner twice and breakfast 4 times during my weekend visit because that's how good it is firstly the steak and frites was a solid 8.5 the fat could use some more rendering but the quality was divine. i later had the truffle fries and i recommend you get the steak and frites but upgrade to truffle fries it also pairs with the truffle jus the last night i had to get the duck breast my boyfriend got it the first night and it was nearly perfect so i had to revisit it when i got mine it was perfect very rich and decadent and the skin was crisp for breakfast the omelette was your standard omelette very light and standard i loved their in house hot sauce def give that a try but the best breakfast was 100% the duck confit hash had it 3 times over the weekend very delicious on top of the great food the vibes were very lux and the staff was amazing

We booked the ski chalets at Sonoma Mission Inn and had the best evening even on a super rainy day. The chalets were warm with the fire, very relaxing, and quiet since you are not near other guests. The fondue was incredible and the portions were HUGE, and we also had the fries and one of the flatbreads. Our server was so kind and made the experience very pleasant. I already want to go back!

A culinary event. Sante at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa provides an exceptional culinary experience with a focus on seasonal ingredients sourced from regional producers. The attentive and personable service provided by Shea S., Forest, Johnathan, and Jeremy elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. From the delicious dishes to the warm hospitality and beautiful ambiance. Sante is a must-visit for food enthusiasts looking for a taste of Sonoma's finest offerings. Each dish is a masterpiece, skillfully crafted to perfection and presented like a culinary theater performance. We went for Taylor's birthday brunch and had a very nice meal. Breakfast dates are a go-to for us, but I wanted it to be something special, and Sante delivered! We sat on the all season patio overlooking the pool. It's a comfortable well appointed area with heaters available for chilly Sonoma mornings and nights. Both of our entrées were outstanding, drinks were crafted with care, and I can't wait for another special occasion to visit again! They also have special events and a hosted dinner for Thanksgiving.

Back in the day, Sante was what I considered to be peak Sonoma County fine dining. I loved the ambiance, attention to detail, quality of food, and service. I recall many very fond dining experiences here that I relish, especially the beef brownies, so when Restaurant Week 2023 started up, hubby and I made our reservation to come back. We had the wonderful opportunity to be their first diners, of the first dinner of the first day of their Restaurant Week. I picked that specifically because I wanted to see how things for them were when everything was fresh, all dishes in stock, and to see how they were at their best. We were seated in the corner with great lighting and I had a good view of the entire restaurant. For some reason, our table had crumbs on it, or some kind of grunge which was a weird first impression. As we sat, I looked up into the lighting fixtures and they had cobwebs, which was really disappointing for such a fine dining establishment. For the $55 dinner option for RW, I ordered the Carrots and Turnips appetizer, he opted for the Hamachi, and we both ordered a zero proof cocktail. Our drinks were probably the best part of the dining experience, really well crafted and delicious. My appetizer was well cooked & well seasoned, but his fish had a lot of connective tissue between the pieces of fish which made it challenging to eat. For entrees, I ordered the raviolis with mushrooms and he ordered the black cod. Our entrees were good but not to the level I was honestly expecting for Sante, compared to what I had in the past here. Desserts were even more of a let down, I was so excited about the brie ice cream with the pear tart, and he ordered the carrot cake. My ice cream tasted like a basic very creamy vanilla with no brie notes at all. The tart crust was dry and the pears were wilty and sad. His carrot cake was standard and not very remarkable. Service was really spotty. Our main server was a seasoned gentleman with wonderful dialogue, but he dropped silverware at multiple tables. His communication with his co-server/assistant was very strange, and he was giving the young guy glaring looks when he wasn't attentive at the right times throughout the night. Additionally, there were some strange dynamics with another table and a wine snafu about kosher wine, which was very loud, disruptive and distracting. Overall, I was honestly really disappointed in our experience here for RW. I had such high hopes to share my love of the Fairmont and my love of Sante with my better half, and what a better time than RW?! Unfortunately, however, our experience was much lower than I was expecting. I was sad that this was my better half's first Sante experience when I know historically things have been so much better in food flavors, cleanliness, service, and ambiance. Quite sad, and left me feeling deflated about this and it's history of such a shining gem in the past.

Arrived and our table was ready for us. We were sat outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. We ended up starting with the Banana bread with espresso peanut butter. Glad we did it was warm, soft inside and crispy outside. Plus, the butter just made the bread 10 times better. So much flavor and just the right hint of espresso. I got the bacon cheddar scones & gravy with scrambled eggs. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the gravy had a great flavor and creamy. The scone was good but I would of loved it a little softer not as crispy. Mimosa with Gloria Ferrer wine was delicious and did not have too much orange juice. Prices are a little higher, but we expected that since it is a inside an expensive hotel.

Really delicious, top notch food. Had the onion gratine, oysters and the butternut squash ravioli. Not a huge restaurant which was nice. Only complaint was that the front desk didn't know if the restaurant was open or not on New Year's Day since they are typically closed on Wednesdays - but you could still make reservations via OpenTable. We were able to eat there that night but it was quite frustrating for a Fairmont front desk to be unsure of something like the restaurant being open or not.

The restaurant is beAutiful. I just found the service and food basic for The resort. You spend a lot of money but dining is blah ......... We had breakfast there last weekend during our stay. It was super cold outside and I asked if the heater could be moved closer to me. The server acknowledged my request but No one moved it. The servers were nice but went missing. The apple cider was delicious. The breakfast potatoes were plain and lacked seasoning. My egg whites had no flavor. The bacon was decent. The room service was good and the staff set up the food in front of the fireplace. I ordered a salad the first nice. The best part is when I arrived, room service had chocolate covered strawberries with a nice note arranged for me.

I took myself to Sonoma mission inn spa for my Birthday and Sante for dinner. Their drinks, salad, trout and lavender creme brulee was excellent!

We had both dinner and breakfast at Sante and it was fantastic! Dinner started with fresh bread & butter, delicious main dish of roast chicken with sides and tasty desserts to end our meal. We came back for breakfast and we're delighted again to find fresh & unique menu items. The breakfast tacos were perfect and the banana bread with espresso peanut butter and jalapeno scone were perfect accompaniments to share.

Was in Sonoma to see my mother and going out to lunch was on the agenda. We struck out at our first spot then saw this super cute restaurant on a drive by. The Farmhouse vibe was accurate, even from the outside. Inside was even cuter, very open and artsy. Got a lovely table in the back and received incredibly great service from Vincent. Professional, friendly, competent, knowledgeable. I don't have a huge sampling of the menu, but what we had was truly fantastic. We both had salads, my mom the Beet salad and I had a Caesar. Let me tell you, both were delicious. The Caesar dressing was perfect. Anchovy forward but not overpowering. My mom said the Beet salad was the best she had ever had. Note the picture as I'm surprised she didn't lick the bowl! We then shared a mushroom, bacon, truffle, arugula, and balsamic glazed pizza with shaved parmigiana on top. Don't like saying things like "that's the best mushroom pie I've ever had", but I believe that it was!!! Triple Wow. Beautiful thin flatbread crust, tasty sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon bits and just a hint of truffle. The balsamic just tied it all together. Ahhhhhhhhhh... Looking forward to my return to continue exploring the menu. Thanks, mom, for living so close. Cheers

Knowing that it should be a mild creamy, buttery, delicate flavor, I was left searching for ANY flavor as we worked our way through it. Nothing. Beet salad wasn't bad. But again the flavor came from the overly seasoned salad dressing and no real flavor from the beets. The bucatini tomato sauce was atrocious. We had to send it back because it had no guanciale flavor, far too much watery tomato sauce and overdone bucatini. It was more like pasta soup with soggy pasta than any pasta dish I've ever made or had. When you have two pastas on the menu, they should be highlights, not afterthoughts. So glad I didn't try the carbonara which I love, and hope to find great variations everywhere I go. The branzino was pan fried, tender and somewhat juicy. Again, lacking in the flavor profile with it's pairing on the plate. We came because of this establishment's claim of celebrating seasonal ingredients. We assumed there was a level of freshness and flavor consistent with fresh off the vine procurement. We did not taste evidence of this. The prices here are Sonoma'ish. The quality of food that we had was diner like. The service was attentive and apologetic and much appreciated. But the kitchen let down their counterparts in the service area and we come for the food first.

We walked into a cozy, friendly environment which was packed. The only table that was available, was a table for 1 in the corner. The extremely generous young man sitting by the door, heard what the server had offered us and he immediately turned to us and gave us his table and he moved to the single table. I don't think anyone has ever done this for us. We gladly accepted and in turn we treated him to breakfast. We were curious to see the plates coming out of the small kitchen. My husband absolutely loved the omelette comparing it to the ones he used to order at the Cliff House in SF back in the day. When you enter you'll notice a more homey decor to the place. Warm colors all around and even warmer service once you sit down. Every single experience Ive had here is been nothing less of 110%. Theres always this good balance professionalism with lightheartedness that pair so well for the atmosphere. Because at its core this restaurant is high scale. It definitely has that higher scale vibe but if never comes off as pretentious though. This particular I took my wifey here for our 10th year anniversary together. And we were greeting by a nice little card from the "Fig Family." We ended up trying the Seared Halloumi and I was shocked at how much I liked it. Very light flavors but still enough variety with the crispy spigarello and pine nuts to keep things fun. The lemon never feels too overwhelming. For mains my wife got the Mushroom RisottoI think? Or maybe it was Butternut Squash Risotto? I got the Fig Burger and both were amazing. The only reason I didn't get her Risotto was simply because I already had it at lunch time, but that still didn't stop me from taking a bite. Each rice like grain had a perfect chew and flavor to each bite. Even being the picky person that I am with veggies, I appreciated the veggies addition to the dish. I still think though that the sure winner was my Fig Burger. This burger is everything we wish our local breweries burger was. A harmonic balance between salty and sweet. Im down to get a little crazy with burgers but if it's too sweet, it kinda loses the appeal for me. It takes away too much from the burgers roots. So yea. Go here. Make reservations too. I know for myself I made mine about a month in advance so it's hard to say how hard it is to get a table here. But hopefully it's not too bad. Parking by the way is just street parking. Despite that Ive always been able to get a park on W Spain St right before I pull up to the restaurant. OH! And thanks again Girl and the Fig family! This is the #1 mentioned spot recommended to me on my post/inquiry for great romantic restaurants in the area on Facebook page "Sonoma county foodies." I have my list from them and was excited to use one of the best excuses ever to go-my mother-in-law's 75th birthday and flying in to town to see us. We got a sitter and reserved a table weeks ahead. Entering in to the restaurant, it has a cool vibe as it's also a hotel. We got there before the dinner rush, so it was relaxed when we arrived. We were seated at a table; the staff knew ahead it was my MILs bday, and they kindly wished her happy birthday several times in our time. We ordered the mushrooms for appetizer; a generous portion, but not too big to ruin dinner. It was an unusual dish we hadn't had before; beautifully plated with arugula and a slightly spicy purée. I would order it again. I got a glass of Walt Chardonnay and my MIL a sparkling wine, which she and my husband really liked. For entrees, I got the Petaluma Chicken-which was crispy outside and tender on the inside. Polenta (very creamy) and broccolini. I would say my dish was light on salt, so I added some to taste, and all was good. My husband got the vegan plate with salmon, and it looked so healthy and fresh. The tofu was crispy too, even for my hubby that doesn't eat tofu. My mother in law got the flat iron steak and frites. The steak was cooked to her liking and looked delicious. The fries were ok--I thought they were a bit under-whelming (like them piping hot) but that can't always be achieved in a busy restaurant. Mid-meal the place started buzzing with activity, and it got a bit loud but not too bad.
