Counter seating where you can watch them prepare your meal. A large, varied, menu and seating inside or out. The food was actually pretty good -- the spinach and mushroom omelette with the red potatoes was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was one of the worst experiences I've had. We visit Sonoma often since we have friends who live there, and we were hoping to find a good breakfast/lunch spot to enjoy when we're in the area. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt ignored. We weren't greeted, and the staff seemed cold and unwelcoming. What was especially disappointing was seeing other guests being treated much more warmly and receiving a level of friendliness and attention that we did not receive. The experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. It's a shame because the food has potential, but the service completely ruined it for us. We will not be returning and will definitely let our friends and family who visit the area know about our experience at Creekside Cafe. Do better Creekside Cafe! read more

We had such a nice breakfast at Creekside. They seated our walk in group pretty soon after we arrived. Maybe call ahead though because there's not a ton of seating. It's a smaller space that is quaint and clean with a very sweet homie vibe. We really liked our polite server Vidal. He was attentive and kind! My recommendation would be to have the french toast! Holy moly - literally one of the best breakfasts I've had; ever... This morning they had a house made grits plate with a slice of lean smoked ham and topped with a couple of cooked to perfection poached eggs and delicious hollandaise sauce (plus toast). Savory deliciousness in every bite! They should put this on the regular menu because it's seriously bomb. Another hidden gem in Sonoma! Having spent a week in California wine tasting and sightseeing, my wife and I decided to try the cafe adjacent to our hotel before we started our trek north. So glad we did!! If you want a wild quail egg benedict with beluga caviar and organic arugula served on a plate hand crafted by Chilean monks......go somewhere else. If you, like me, enjoy a simple omelet served with potatoes and toast, step up and be counted. This is your place. We got there right as they opened and got the last seating available. We saw people rattling the door before they even unlocked it. That's always a good sign. Even fully busy, the guys were quick to take our orders and with a few minutes came back with our food, hot and fresh from the kitchen. No warming shelf here! The final victory for this pace was the price. Having only a few days earlier had a similar breakfast at a golf course further south named after little rocks next to the ocean and paying almost $100 for 2 breakfasts, we left Creekside only about $30 poorer. For the record, the portions here were larger too. All in all, a great place to start your day. Highly recommend. read more

Recently moved to this area and heard this is a local fave. Food and ambience were good, prices very reasonable. However, the nicest thing I can say about the service is that is was - weird. Ever walked into a couple's house that invited you for dinner and it's immediately obvious that they have spent all day arguing? Well, my wife and I walked in, no greeting of any kind just a wave toward the tables. The server took our order for coffee, again no greeting, and walked away as we were asking him a question. The menu says, "Ask us about our specials" in a happy tone but the specials are on a board that is plunked down unceremoniously by your table. Not once did we get a smile or a welcoming word. Also, for a clientele that is mostly seniors, there was no sugar-free syrup for us diabetics. Perhaps if you are a regular and they get to know you, the service is different. We came to this cute little cafe for brunch before heading to go wine tasting for a friend's birthday. We were seated right away and had great service! Multiple servers came to wish my friend happy birthday and the food was served to us very quickly after we ordered. I ordered Jesse's Focaccia Sandwich with no tomatoes and loved it. Creekside was an amazing surprise. Located on a residential neighborhood, (walking distance from Fairmont spa) the place is simple but with a fantastic service and food. I went to Creekside to have breakfast. I was on Fairmont spa forma few days, and can affirm with no doubt that Creekside is much better than the fashion Santé on the Hotel. A nice little neighborhood cafe that can definitely fly under the radar in Sonoma county. Near Agua Caliente within a residential neighborhood, it's not visible from the main drag. It's not fancy or chic( go to Sunflower Cafe for that). But food is good with huge portions. French toast special that day was enough for two-with thick slices and a crunchy coating. Potatoes( home fries) were cut in big pieces and roasted so they aren't dripping in grease. Coffee cups stay topped off. The two guys running the joint were nice and attentive.
