I received a letter from Patrick Kelley, a former Marine. Being a former Marine myself I read the letter. Then I had a plumbing issue so I decided to call get the plumbing service and the HVAC tune up service, as well. Both technicians were polite and professional. Due to their professionalism and honesty, I decided to change my monthly service to SANO! ...and it was cheaper than the previous company. Better service, better professionalism, and no hassles at the back end. NO HARD SELL! I am a believer. read more

This company came over and told me I needed a new transducer for my air-conditioning and heating unit. They wanted to charge me $600 dollars. This is a part that costs approximately $40 and takes about five minutes to install. I got a second opinion from a reputable heating company and ended up paying $150 dollars. When I called Sano and told them about it, they said, don't you think our expertise is worth some money? I said yes but not $450 dollars. My advice is get a second opinion if they want to do some work I do not recommend this company whatsoever not a profit margin of $450 for 10 minutes work. read more

I called Sano at 8 am for service on my AC. It went out in the middle of a heatwave. They were here by 11:00 on the same day (the service window was 11-1).... During a heat wave !!! I figured it would be days. Patrick and Darren got right to work to assess the problem. Our units are 10 years old. They had to replace a couple of parts and by noon I was back up and running. I would highly recommend this company read more

Over the span of two days, Jaicub and Tyler came to my little old Anaheim home (built in 1952) to install the heat pump HVAC unit including all the ducts in the attic. Jaicub was very professional & respectful with Tyler in the way he communicated with him through the install. Tyler got up in our very very very warm attic to install the ducts (I have nothing but respect for him). They had their safety precautions in place to prevent any heat illness. Both communicated clearly with each other and were both friendly and respectful to me as well. My beagle loved them both and was excited to see them back on day 2! I was impressed by how quickly they removed the old unit and ducts. After the new one was installed & tested & Jaicub went over the digital thermostat that came with the unit was when payment was due. Once I "tapped" to pay, the adventure had come to a conclusion. I highly recommend Sano and their fantastic group of technicians any day. It might also be worth mentioning I had another HVAC company out to quote me and when I called to let them know we would be going with Sano, the rep said not only did they work with Patrick, the owner, in the past, they said they even highly recommended him. Thank you Sano. I'm sure we will see you in the future but hopefully way in the future. :) read more

So as far as I'm concerned, this company is legit! and I will continue to recommend their services to anyone who says man I delt with a horrible ac company that tried to Rip me off! I scheduled with Patrick, the owner, online through Yelp and he was very quick to respond and thorough with his answers. I liked how he explained exactly what was involved in the process instead of the other vendors just saying we'll do a generic diagnostic and here's our price. They confirmed with the homeowner through a phone call the work that needed to be done and scheduled quickly, another very thorough aspect of their business. Patrick H. the technician came out and was as friendly as could be. Explained everything in detail about what was going on in the system and what our options were. I expected that we'd needed to do a replacement of our unit as it was close to 20 years old. Patrick explained what he thought our best options are and was not pushy in trying to sell anything. I explained we would be looking into doing a full replacement but not until the future - he said he understood. He took payment with a credit card (Sano was about $20 cheaper than the other vendors as they had a promotion going) and gave the bro-fist as he left. In a very competitive business, Sano really stood out with their professionalism and lack of trying to hard-sell anything. It's this type of interaction that will have us giving them a call first when we plan to do a HVAC replacement. read more

For the second year in a row, we used Sano Heating and Air Conditioning, a local, veteran-owned company, and once again we were extremely pleased. This year's project, like last year's, was a big one--a complete repipe (supply and drains), along with relocating and replacing our water heater. From start to finish, the entire process was handled professionally and smoothly. Jacob and Andres ("Primo") took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done, and Primo, along with Alfonzo and Junior, completed the work in a timely and highly professional manner. While this was certainly one of those necessary home projects no homeowner looks forward to, the experience was genuinely pleasant. We especially appreciated how mindful Primo and his team were about keeping our dog safe and taking great care to protect the integrity of our historic home. Once again, a big thank you to Sano--especially Primo, Alfonzo, Junior, and Jacob! read more

Our air conditioner stopped working suddenly, so my wife called a few companies. The Sano representative was courteous and said they could send someone right away who was finishing a job nearby. Patrick Higgins was the technician, and he was great. Since the air blows and the fan spins, I thought maybe it was the coolant. But when I turned on the unit, Patrick immediately diagnosed the problem as the capacitor based on the sound. He then tested the capacitor with a volt meter and confirmed the problem. Once he replaced the capacitor, the unit started working perfectly. He also gave some very helpful tips on air filters and keeping the central air conditioning unit clean. He was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great service. I was very impressed with Sano, and I would highly recommend them and Patrick. read more

Stevie, Cameron, and Daron are so awesome. Kind, thorough, and easy to talk to. I signed up for the service plan last year and have had nothing but exceptional service. Stevie has taken time to play with my son who seems to really like him and loves to show him all his sports equipment :). Cameron and Daron like to make good conversation while ensuring our systems are running well and don't mind giving our Golden Retriever pets while they're here. Thanks guys! read more

I had a scheduled business appointment with this company arranged by my team, but when I arrived, Patrick, the person I was supposed to meet, immediately confronted me, cursing, and asked who I was. He insisted he had no appointment and was incredibly rude. I tried to explain calmly that my team had set it up, but he kept interrupting. Then Karla walked in and mentioned Spectrum, and only then did Patrick realize the appointment was real. After that, he apologized, but the whole time, I felt disrespected. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this really felt like a personal attack especially since I was just there for a professional discussion. After I said, 'Alright, have a good day, but please don't be rude next time,' they all started laughing, which was really dismissive and hurtful. The fact that this business is still up and running and treats people like this is completely out of line and unprofessional. Nasty. Disgusting. read more

I called because my downstairs AC vents were blowing out white, foamy material. The company was able to send someone out on the next business day. Daron came out to inspect the system and quickly diagnosed the issue: the ductwork was very old, and one section was wide open, allowing insulation to be blown through the vents. He gave me a competitive quote, and I decided to move forward with the work. Since I have limited knowledge of how AC systems work, Daron took the time to explain everything in detail. He was incredibly patient and understanding, answering all of my (often repetitive) questions thoroughly. That Friday, two technicians--Jaicub and Tyler--came out to replace the ductwork. They were also very informative and explained each step of the process. They went above and beyond by organizing and cleaning the attic, making sure everything was properly installed. They even took the initiative to tidy up the ductwork for the upstairs unit to ensure better airflow. I was surprised to learn that a previous HVAC company had left trash in the attic and failed to strap the ducts correctly, but Jaicub and Tyler corrected all of that. Finally, Stevie came out once the duct replacement was complete and performed a semi-annual service on both of my AC units to ensure everything was running smoothly. He made sure no stone was left unturned. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the professionalism, thoroughness, and customer service I received from everyone involved. Highly recommend! read more

I booked an appointment with Sano to do my annual furnace check. My technician Jim arrived on time and was honestly such a delight to chat with. He was friendly, kind, and explanatory. It is obvious that the Sano guys are treated well by management and actually enjoy working together because every employee is clearly happy. Jim found that the heat shield in my furnace wasn't working properly, so he found the part and booked my next appointment with the office. Very efficient and appreciated! He came back to do the work with Manny. They explained everything to me along the way and got my furnace up and running quickly. I so appreciate everything that Jim and Manny did to expedite this project, and they did it with smiles on their faces. Sam and Anthony were great technicians. They tuned up my AC and cleared out the clogged main drain line. Whenever I think of Daron Garlough, I think, "peace of mind." Not too long ago, my old furnace stopped working. I've had over five technicians come look at my old furnace and by far, Daron was the most experienced, knowledgeable, and transparent. Many technicians didn't touch the furnace but said that I should just buy a new one. Dan was different. He took everything apart and showed me what was broken and where. Trust me. I tried to fix the old furnace myself even when smoke was coming out of it. The only reason why I purchased a new furnace was because of Daron and how thorough he was. When I found out that he had left his former employer and landed at Sano Heating and Air Conditioning, I followed him to Sano. Daron is a rare breed. He would continue to work even if he won the Lotto because he loves his job. He is a master of his craft. read more

Had Sano install all new heating, air and duct work in November. Anthony, who provided the estimate, was very knowledgeable and thorough with all the details he provided. Communication was good. Tech Randy answered all my questions during the install and showed us how everything works. They seemed to be very meticulous in their work and left everything clean and neat when they departed. We are, so far, very happy with the equipment we received and the install they did. read more

I sold my parents a complete Carrier split system 31 years ago when I was in the business. With summer coming up, I wanted to make sure mom was going to be comfortable when it gets hot so I started looking for a reputable service company in the area to give the system a once over, cleaning and tune-up. She gave me a letter she had received from Sano Heating and Air which stated Patrick (the owner) was a former Marine as was my step dad. I checked out their reviews here and saw nothing but 5 stars. I read through them, determined it was a no-brainer and called for an appointment. I couldn't be happier with my choice! I met Patrick (the tech) at my moms place who was on time, extremely personable and ready to get the work done. He proceeded to do exactly what was needed. Once he knew I had a little background in HVAC, he detailed exactly what he was doing while thoroughly going through the system. He informed me what was required, what wasn't and gave me options to replace what was needed to get the system up to snuff without trying to upsell or pressure me into anything that was not necessary or that we didn't want. He showed me a component that needed to replaced and explained it wasn't mission critical but it would be down the road. I gave him the go-ahead and proceeded to install the new blower cap (which he had on his truck) in minutes. He also brought to my attention a couple of potential problems on the old system which could and most likely will happen down the road while being completely honest and professional during his very efficient service call. The pricing was great, and the work was exemplary with a knowledgeable, clean, and courteous professional providing detailed information for everything he did. I won't hesitate to call Sano Heating and Air Conditioning (and ask for Patrick) the next time I need a service call and when the system does finally need to be replaced, they will be my go-to. Highly recommended! read more

The summary of my review is "Do not judge a book by its cover". I had a plumbing issue and called several companies for the job. Almost everyone either gave me a high inspection cost or free inspection with huge work quote. I literally passed on Sano Heating & Air Conditioning several times only because I read the name and thought wonder if they are good in plumbing. Man I was wrong (Never judge a book by its cover) ! These folks attended to my call and fixed the issue is total of 4hrs and at an extremely competitive price. My plumbing job was not huge but the level of customer service and actual onsite work ethics was exceptional. Ryan, my technician explained me in detail what he was doing to fix the issue and how to maintain it for future. Really appreciated his frank and honest approach. I would highly recommend them for plumbing jobs as well. And now I have a great reference for heating and air! read more

We had a great experience working with Sano Heating and Air Conditioning! Our HVAC system broke during the hottest day last month. As it turned out, we needed to replace our 20+-year-old system with a new HVAC system. Our technicians, Stevie and Christian, were very professional and easy to talk to. They arrived right on time, walked us through the entire process, and answered all of our questions. The quote was clear and transparent, with no hidden fees, which we really appreciated. Since it was a total replacement, including moving the system to the attic and new ducts, Sano sent a big crew to finish the work as quickly as possible. Thank you to Ivan, Pedro, and their teams, who worked through the heat, efficiently and cleanly. They address any issues quickly and proactively. Today was my first time reaching out and using Sano Heating and AC. I was extremely pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule me in. I called for a dryer duct cleaning and they were able to get a technician to my house same day. Jacob came to the house and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned out the vents, in what I felt was a timely manner and left the area pristine. He cleaned up all around and even was ensuring that there were no leftover trash or lint around my lawn. I really appreciate his eye for detail. After finishing the job, Jacob thoroughly walked me through what he did and fixed for me as well as pointed out some things that he visually saw that could use some attention. I really appreciated him informing me about somethings that I should probably be up keeping around my property. I had a great experience using Sano and would definitely call them out for their services again. Definitely give them a call if you are in need of some services around your home. Their communication is extremely prompt in the customer service is excellent. Also on a side note, I truly appreciated Jacob in the way he conducted himself extremely professionally. He was friendly ans he had good vibes. To be honest, as a woman who happened to be at home by myself during the Servicing, I felt extremely safe and comfortable. I know some people might find that weird to even comment on but I think it is important to share that the technician truly made his presence feel safe. read more

If you are looking to get HVAC done, read my honest review below!! The work they do is like state of art. I've called about 5 different contractors and got estimates, but when Daron walked into our house, it was game over. Lol. I really believe he is the HVAC guru. He just knows everything. He doesn't try to sell you anything, he just wants to educate you about HVAC system. And he lets you decide with no pressure. He is just very smart, genuine, and patient. From him, my husband and i learned a lot, and we really appreciate him for that. Now, the actual installing work done by Chris and Noel... omg... is THE state of art. I've never been so satisfied working with different contractors since owning my home. Chris and Noel work to perfection. They were very meticulous, professional, thorough, and very caring of my home. They made sure my home was left clean and just so perfect. You can tell by the pictures that there is just no flaw. I did furnace, AC and ducting, basically the whole thing, and i am just sooo satisfied in every single things. I feel so lucky i have found this company and their crew. If you own a home, you want quality. But if you want quality with REASONABLE pricing too(for me, pricing is also very important too lol), you just have to work with Daron and Chris. I am very particular and it takes a lot for me to write a perfect rating review, but they deserve it all. read more

My ac was not working and gave them a call. Made an appointment for $69 to diagnose. Technician arrived on time and was professional. A little while after, a supervisor also arrived to check in. I was quoted $2k to repair an electrical short. They stated they couldn't determine where the short was so an entire new wire needed to be ran, plus the short had messed up my pump and another piece outside. On top of that their very thorough inspection suggested additional work for another $5k. Called another company and they diagnosed a short but located it on the unit. I was replaced for 10% of what this company quoted. Maybe because the pump is working and the other burned piece outside also works and did not need replacing. Not sure, all I know is my AC works fine now, and it didn't cost me thousands. No complaints on the customer service, but the upsell is real. read more
